I hear breathing but it's not my own

I suddenly fear that I'm not alone

That new feeling of dread as I lie here

Holding in air hoping no hears

Because there is breathing I hear not coming from me

Lying here stiff and scared 

Dread and panic soon take over

Suddenly the breathing is getting louder 

It's all I hear

Inhale

It's all my focus is on

Exhale

It's all I can think about

its all I can feel

The breath down the back of my neck

It's all I can see

Exhale

It's driving me insane

Inhale

I've forgotten about the rest of the world

I'm not sure what but I grabbed something

And I starting hitting at something

At what? I don't know.

I just kept hitting and hitting

And then it just stopped

Everything...

Just stopped

When I open my eyes I look around and see that I'm in a hospital

Bruises are all over my body

I almost beat myself to death...

All over my own breathing
