1- Transluscent: Loss of a Friend

-Long ago, I once went against valid conceptions. But I was truly happy to grasp unto reality. As a fair juxtaposition, I had never truly sensed that someone, somewhere, was watching my every move.
I never thought that life would end. So unjust... So cruel.

For I was bound to ethereal echoes... Chaos of momentum. I could never imagine what life would be like... Without my truest friend... My greatest ally. My confidante.

The very person, who I had trusted the most, in this wretched world. With whom I had shared my thoughts, my earnestness. My happiness and sentiments...

With whom I had envisioned myself, beyond the stars... Beyond the wonderful constellations of life.

Nevertheless, every day our affection toward each other had never faded, but increased.

In my darkest times, I was entrusted with her secrets. Her manner of expression, that had slowly started to fade away.

Whose lavish charms, had softened my own spirit... My own heart.

Like a burning candle... Little by little.

With whom I roamed, grandiosity.

To think of such a person...

It hurts... It aches...

But she's free now. I feel it, within the depths of my sentiments.
Once seeking absolution... Spiritual enlightenment.

And yet... The memories just keep coming back. Oh, such terrible memories.

Like broken shards of glass, upon the palm of my hand.

Bleeding in a ghastly fashion.

I remember her screams...

Her utter pleas.

Her solemn cries for help. Trying to breathe air...

How she called my name. Desperate, for redemption... Desperate for absolution.

I ran up the stairs, as fast as my physical body could ever permit...

I failed...

I failed to cling unto her life.

I found myself, in a state of uncertainty. A state of delirium. Trying so desperately, to accept the fact that "she", was gone...

I can never go back... I could never envision myself in that house, once more... Though her spirit, still roams...

Trapped, beneath those marbles. And all the rubble...

The rust of the pines, the filth of those walls...
