on friday, the youngest's of the friend group had their graduation ceremony. the six of them each invited their parents, and isla invited as many of the entire friend group as she could, which ended up only being about 10 people.

one of which being jaemin, who made it a goal to embarrass elijah and jisung as much as he possibly could. taking too many pictures and shouting their names obnoxiously. he was practically competing with the moms in the place on who could be the loudest.

minhee ended up crying as she couldn't believe she was really leaving high school for good, and isla shed a tear or two seeing her brother and jisung in their caps and gowns. yangyang couldn't help himself from laughing at seeing her cry, which earned a slap on the head from islas mom, who was basically also his mom at this point.

everyone cheered the six on as they walked towards them, the biggest smiles on their faces that you'd ever see. after the ceremony, they went out to dinner together, just the friends, to celebrate their achievement.

then, the next day was nayoungs party. elijah was still complaining about how badly he didn't want to go while jieun was telling him to suck it up because it was too late to cancel. so, he did in fact suck it up, and they were soon on their way to the party.

nayoung seemed like the type of girl to go all out for parties, and they were right. she did. there were balloons and streamers everywhere, organized snacks and drinks, maybe too much decorations for their liking. when she saw the five of them walk in, she squealed and went over to them.

"hey guys," she greeted, "snacks and drinks over there, make yourselves comfy. think of this as our party, because we all graduated."

jieun couldn't believe how joyful she was, she was almost starting to feel bad for talking so bad about her in the groupchat, as she seemed to be trying so hard to redeem herself. minhee was probably the most forgiving person on the planet, but because she wanted to be, but because she hated having unresolved problems with people.

she never brought up what nayoung said about her, even when the others did, and after that, nayoung become the sweetest person ever to minhee. eli couldn't stand nayoung, jieun didn't know how to feel about her, chenle didn't like her that much, minhee was neutral, and sungchan was just scared of her.

she was popular, had almost all the guys from their school wrapped around her finger, was always way too dressed up. jieun hoped now that they've graduated, that the popularity wouldn't matter anymore.

after nayoung walked away, elijah took the chance to complain. "this is disgusting. where is the alcohol?"

minhee gently slapped his arm to shut him up before wrapping her own arm around his, making his cheeks go red. jieun just kept looking around awkwardly, watching people talk comfortable, wishing she had jisung with her at that moment. being around all these people she hardly knew was starting to make her feel anxious.

"you okay?" sungchan asked, noticing the quietness from her.

his voice shook her out of her thoughts. "hm? yeah, i'm good."

"missing jisung?"

the girl couldn't fight back the grin from forming. "yep." deciding not to deny it, because she did miss him and they both knew that.

she looked around once again, seeing that minhee and elijah wandered off somewhere and chenle took interest in the snack bar. jieun offered to sungchan to go sit down somewhere, not wanting him to be alone and not wanting them to stand there looking awkward. then, she felt her phone vibrate.
