jieun had spent just 10 minutes walking from her house to elijahs, preparing herself for the fact she was going to hang out with a group of boys outside of school. she hardly had friends through out high school anyways, let alone a group of boys she didn't even know for an entire month. yet somehow they managed to make her feel more comfortable than she ever did, not having to sit alone during lunch for the first time the entire senior year.

she approached the front door and knocked, waiting a few moments with her hands shoved into her sweatshirt pockets before the door swung open. jisung stood on the other side, with elijah right behind his body as if they'd fought to open the door first.

jisungs face went into a shy grin as he scratched the back of his head. jieun couldn't help a smile forming onto her face as well at the sight.

"are you just gonna stand there like a weirdo, or are you gonna come in?" elijah muttered as he eyed his two friends who seemed to have gotten lost in each others eyes. the smile fell from jieuns face as she glared at the boy who nagged at her, gently pushing past him to get inside. jisung closed the door behind her as she slipped her shoes off and neatly paired them up with the rest.

elijah found himself skipping away from the two, jieun turning to make eye contact with jisung who was already looking at her.

"you good?" she asked.

"hm? yeah, of course," the taller boy replied, getting ready to say something else but being cut off from chenle running towards the two.

"stop hogging my friend," he glared, pulling jieun into himself and leading her to the main room where everyone else was. the girl laughed, gaining the attention of sungchan who was sat closest to the doorway.

"jieun!" he beamed, his eyes moving from his phone screen. jieun noticed him holding his phone so his face was visible, the face of a girl on his screen, automatically assuming that was his girlfriend.

"hey," she greeted, sungchan turning his phone to her face as she knelt down to see better.

"hi!" the pretty girl on the other side greeted happily, the corner of jieuns lips curving up again.

"hi! lex, right? you're so pretty, oh my god." she complimented as her hand went to her mouth in awe of how pretty her friends girlfriend was.

the girl on the other side of the line squealed cutely and slightly shook her phone in excitement. "shut up, you're pretty, i love you."

"can we start this movie?" another boy groaned, trudging into the room with a bowl of popcorn, his chewing stopping when his eyes landed on jieun. "oh shit, this jieun? dude."

"yes, it's me." she replied cockily, yangyang doing a bro-handshake thing with her as he laughed.

elijah plopped down onto the couch next to sungchan and began flipping through tv channels to find what he was looking for. jisung passed by, getting to jieun who was watching everyone get comfortable awkwardly.

"do you want popcorn? we can share, or you can have your own," the boy offered, heading into the kitchen with his head still turned to make sure she was following, which she was.

jieun nodded, "can we share?"

the pair ended up in the kitchen alone, jieun leaning against the countertop as she watched jisung place a popcorn bag in the microwave, hitting the button to make it start. he scratched his head again, twirling his hair between his fingers as he watched the device.

"do you do that when you're nervous?" jieun boldly asked, referring to the hair twirl.

the boy cocked his head in her direction, moving his hand away. "do what?"

jieun laughed, "you know what! you stopped yourself, you know exactly what i'm talking about."

"oh! my hair? i don't know, i guess? i never really thought about it."

"why're you nervous?"

a light blush formed over jisungs cheeks, his mouth parted open as he quickly moved his eyes somewhere else. "i was kinda nervous for you to be here, i think. i don't want them to scare you away."

"park, if they were gonna scare me away, that would have happened when i first met them." jieun said.

the boy laughed, then the sound of popping popcorn kernels startled him to the point where he jumped 10 feet into the air. jieun laughed loudly, probably much louder than she should've, immediately covering her mouth with her hand. jisung awkwardly took out the bag of popcorn once the popping stopped, embarrassed at his own reaction as he dumped it into a large bowl.

"you good? still breathing?" jieun teased, earning a headshake and a chuckle from jisung. the two of them went back to the now dim living room, sitting next to yangyang on a seperate couch. he had his phone set up so it was facing the tv, jieun assuming again the person on the other end of the line was his girlfriend.

they only got about a minute into the movie when footsteps were heard running down the stairs from the second floor, and a girl came in excitedly.

"hello children," she greeted happily, switching on the light that elijah switched off just a moment ago.

the boy groaned, "can you leave? we're trying to watch a movie."

the girl ruffled his hair, earning a glare from elijah when her eyes landed on jieun.

"hi gf!" she exclaimed, walking over to her. jieun smiled, recognizing her from her instagram and the fact that she only once gave her a ride home. isla held out her arms as jieun stood up, engulfing her into a hug.

"i don't care about the rest of you—wait, hi shotaro and sungchan and lex and ash, i love you, but yeah. i came here for jieun and jieun only." the older girl said, "are y'all watching moana?"

"mhm, wanna watch with us?" jisung asked.

"no," elijah answered for her with a deadpanned tone, "she's leaving."

now it was islas turn to glare, "suck my dick."

"choke and die."

"i'm leaving because i have to keep packing, not because you told me to. bitch."

"bitch."

"seems like they have a good relationship," jieun whispered to jisung, him nodding in agreement before laughing at themselves.
