isla slipped her phone into her back pocket and quickly put on her favorite pair of crocs, checking herself in the mirror. she was too lazy and also had no time do any sort of makeup or do her hair, deciding she looked decent enough for a coffee run.

the house was empty, jaemin at work, his parents at work, and she didn't feel like being home alone for most of the day. she left the house and saw jeno parked out front.

"he made me sit in the back so you could sit up there," was the first thing yangyang said to her as she got in, his face squished against the window causing his words to sound muffled. his hair was messy and his face was still slightly puffy from basically just waking up.

isla snickered and looked at what the two were wearing. yangyang in a pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt, and jeno with a pair of plaid pajama pants and a black t-shirt.

"cute," she complimented.

"oh these? yeah, when i put them on it means serious business," jeno replied, starting up his car to drive away.

after only about a 10 minute drive they pulled into jenos favorite cafe.

"aw this place is so cute and we look like..." isla said, eyeing herself down, "this."

"i look hot, i don't know what you meant by that." yangyang shrugged, getting out of the car along with the other two.

they walked inside, warm air hugging them as there was a cold breeze outside. the place was practically empty with only two other costumers inside. of course, its seven in the morning.

"should we be nice and bring something to haechan?" jeno asked, running his hand through his dark hair.

"where does he even work?" asked isla.

"starbucks."

isla narrowed her eyes, "you serious? he can't just whip himself up a drink at his own job?"

yangyang shook his head, "he hates starbucks coffee."

"this kid.."

they all told the cashier what they wanted and isla paid with her card, moving to the side to wait for their drinks.

yangyang pulled out his phone, opening instagram and started to take a video on the instagram story section.

"when she pays for your latte," he said to his phone, putting the camera too close to islas face resulting in her eyes going wide and immediately covering the camera.

"she's shy, guys," yangyang said again. he stopped the video and posted it on his close friends.

"you know what audio on tiktok where it's like 'mommy.. mommy'?" jeno asked.

isla looked at him in disbelief. "what the actual fuck are you talking about?"

"you haven't heard it?! this is awkward."

yangyang busted out laughing a little too loud in the quiet cafe, covering his mouth when be realized how loud he was.

a minute later they got their drinks and left, their next destination being the starbucks haechan works at.

as usual, starbucks was kind of busy, seeing as its a popular place and no matter what time it was there was always going to be too many people there. the three spotted their friend taking an order, and when he looked up and saw them he smiled happily and asked his coworker to take care of the next order.

"aw, look at you being a little cashier," isla cooed as he approached.

"mhm, gimme," he demanded, getting handed the drink from islas hand and sipping on it.

"hi guys!" another voiced called. everyone looked behind haechan to see who else was talking.

"hey bro," jeno greeted, doing the guy hug thing with him, then him doing it with yangyang.

he then looked at isla in confusion, "i don't think i know you?"

"oh, isla this is mark, mark this is isla. he works here too." haechan introduced.

"nice to meet you," she greeted shyly, to which he returned.

"okay byeeeee, talk to y'all later." haechan said, walking away with his coworker.
