[ seventy-nine ]

As Taehyung goes out of the café with his best bud, his phone vibrates from his pocket. He stops on his tracks and immediately checks out the caller.

He smiles inwardly as he reads the name Gukkie and presses the answer button.

"Hey, beautiful. Where are you?" Jeongguk asks from the other line. Taehyung can't help but blush at the sudden greeting the younger has said.

"We are on our way home, Gukkie. What about you?" He asks back.

"We have one hour left 'til practice is over, babe. Then we're gonna go back to our dorm first to make a quick shower and then we'll come by at your place for dinner," Jeongguk answers which makes Taehyung's heart flutter and his stomach churning with excitement because of the idea of Jeongguk coming over. That means, he can spend time with his lover again after those busy days.

"So, I'll see you later, then?" Taehyung whispers as if he's out of breath. He hears Jeongguk chuckle because of the anxiousness that's obvious in his voice.

"You don't have to be nervous, Tae. And just to inform you, we have somewhere to go after dinner. Aight? See you later, baby!" Jeongguk says in a hurry before ending the call. He leaves Taehyung in a confused state, wondering where the hell Jeongguk will be taking him after dinner. He just hopes that it's a good place tho.

The boys have gathered into the small apartment Taehyung and Seokjin shares. The food that lays on the table is mouth-watering that they didn't waste any time and starts to dig in the meal.

"Namjoon hyung and Jin hyung, please live a wonderful life!" Jimin shouts as he proposes a toast for the two. The others gladly raise their glasses and starts to cheer for the newly-engaged couple.

After dinner, they thank Jin for the very delicious food and since it is still a bit early, they decide to play a game.

Everyone definitely had a great time, accompanied with each other. Lots of laughter, jokes and stories have been shared by everyone. They ended the night by watching a movie and everyone stayed over to sleep.

As they are about to go to the guest room, they immediately realize that someone is missing.

"Wait. Where's Taehyung and Jeongguk?"

They look at each other and shrug.
