So I know i said this book is officially over...

And it is. Don't get your hopes up.

But I noticed a lot of you say or even get mad about the many 'racist' jokes that were used in the story.

First of all, I'm black. African American. (Technically I'm more Indian American than I am African-) but y'all get the point.

Does that make it okay to use and say such jokes that people could take offense to? No. Hell no.

But the whole point of using the jokes was for humor.

Like when Alex said something about John's room being small and tiny like a little Mexican lady.

First of all, have you ever watched family? If so, you know that the lady (I forget her name) is always cleaning or whatever. And I'm pretty sure I qouted that reference from Peter in some episode.

That lady ^

If anything, I use stereotypes as jokes because yall know not all Hispanics clean or are maids and stuff.

(But im not gonna lie, a lot of yall are short 😂)

Moving on...

There seemed to be a lot of controversy with the one things I said in an author's note. It was the one where I said John probably thought Alex was some big ass black dude and some of you thought it was funny..

Others got highly offended and others even tried reporting my book.

1) I'm not racist 🤷🏽‍♀️

2) issa joke.

3) didn't I put a warning about offensive jokes or comments somewhere in the book? 🤔

Another thing, I made a REALLY horrible joke about john or alex whoever it was being a woman beater.

I didn't say that because he thought alex was black, damn 

Y'all can chill.

Some of you looked at it like this-

Black guy = woman beater

While it should've been looked at like this-

Alex always talking about rough sex and wanting to tie up john and shit
= woman beater

And John didn't say he was, he assumed, because of that.

I didn't mean to point ppl out or whatever, my bad 💀

But I don't want y'all to think that I'm racist or that I'm targeting black folks and Hispanics because of this.

In the end, we all know the real founding fathers were white dudes.

End of discussion.

Btw i plan on going back and editing a few stuff cuz I don't like how some of the chapters are written. I will also re- phrase the jokes so it doesn't sound too offensive.

I hope you guys can continue to love Hamilton and the casts, (both original and new casts) and support them as well!!
