"This is fucking awesome," John said in awe, looking at the chart with wide eyes.

"Yeah, that's great and all, but do you see where the book is!? Number three in Alexander Hamilton?! That's me!" Alex exclaimed, quite excited while looking at the book ratings.

"But number 56 in John Laurens." John felt lowkey offended.

"John! This book isn't about you! It's about me and my change of life! From  single to mingled, gangster to prankster-"

"Alex, the book is about me." John pouted. Alexander looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"Really? Because people have been saying that I was the main character, after all, I am on the cover."

"Well no. Readers have been confused as to who was the main character and I think we should clear that up." He cleared his throat sassily. "It's quite obvious it's me."

"How though? You're not on the cover, and the title isn't Instagram// John Laurens, is it?" Alexander laughed, shoving John cockily.

"The author only put you on the cover so that readers will read the book! They saw some kinky dude and wanted to read sexy time stuff, instead they got angst and shit."

(Kinda true tho)

"The readers love me," Alex jutted out his lip with a slight pout. "I think it's just that the story is about you meeting a change in your life which just so happens to be me?"

"Oh. I never thought of it that way." John slowly wrapped his arms around his boyfriend, holding him securely. "I don't want people to just think our lives is just a big...I don't know, kink show."

"I'm sure they don't think that," Alex muttered, leaning back into John's warmth. "Maybe some of them think that, while others are more on the affectionate side. Where they can relate to us. Where they've shared that same amount of sadness, happiness, or anger."

"You're trying to be poetic and it's cute." John giggled, squeezing him tighter. "Let's not get that deep into this, okay? We want to make this seem happy."

"Why? Is it going to be sad?"

"No. At least not yet. There's still that part where me and you get arrested in the next chapter-"

"John! Too much information!"

"Right. Sorry. The readers aren't paying attention anyway. They're too busy trying to comment things that are funny in hopes of making new friends."

"Yeah. You lonely bastards."

John cleared his throat, taking a moment to bathe in Alexander's scent. "Anyway, now that we established that I'm the main character, I think I should have my own question and answer thing with the readers."

Alex hip bumped John's waist, "I personally believe we're both the main characters."

"Okay fine, we both get to a sweet questions the readers ask while we wait for the slow ass author to finish writing that million word chapter she has in store for us."

"Million word chapter???"

John scoffed, "Duh. Since all her chapters have been thousands of words, she's aiming for the stars. Her dumb ass is trying to write a million word chapter and it's been like two months since she updated!"

Alexander's eyes widened in shock. "Has it really?"

"Yes. This is why her slow ass needs to hurry the fuck up-"

(Ok im actually almost done with the chapter so John you can go back to sucking alex's wiener dog)

"Anyway," he cleared his throat. "I believe we deserve a question and answer chapter, since there are new readers by the way."
