"Noona! Why do we celebrate lunar festival?"

"Well, there's a story behind it"

"Can you tell us unnie?"

"Yes! Noona, please tell us" they said it chorus.

"Alright, sit down everyone. Let me tell you about two star crossed lovers, Taehyung and Jungkook"

All the kids immediately gathered around her, sitting patiently. Looking up at the omega with expecting eyes.

"Rie noona!! C'mon sit down"

"Fine fine" The girl chuckled, she sat down in the middle of the kids. Uncaring of the dirt her dress would gather as they made contact+

The people around them walking and looking around in awe while she had the attention of all the kids of the pack.

It was Lunar festival today.

"Lunar festival, it has been celebrated for over a hundred years."

"Hundred years?" A small barely 3 year old kid asked. Rie, a beautiful omega of the pack nodded her head.

"Yeah, it means wayyy before you or I were born. It's celebrated every 4 years, on 29th feb"

She continued picking on the small grass growing around them.

"When there is lunar eclipse. Every pack is adored in lights and decorations. Delicious food is made and offerings are made. Do you know who do we offer to?" She asked looking over the kids with a patient smile.

"Goddess Luna!!" One kid, soobin chided with a cute smile.

She chuckled and shook her head,

"Actually no, for this one we offer to an omega and a vampire. That's why we offer our blood too along with fruits, clothes and jewelry"

"Why?" Soobin asked with a pout.

"Well, years ago there was an omega, His name was kim Taehyung. He was really gorgeous, kind and sweet. Anyone who looked at him fell in love with his beauty. He was mesmerizing"

"More beautiful then you unnie?" A girl asked and rie blushed.

"Yeah, wayyy more beautiful than me"

"Why" the same girl, hema asked with a frown.

"Because he wasn't rich or had a family. Back then, it didn't matter how beautiful or nice omega you are, if you didn't have money or a family. No one wanted to mate you"

A chorus of ohs came from the kids. Rie smiled at them, they were so adorable.

"They tried to keep their relationship a secret, vampires and werewolves shouldn't be together, they didn't knew what would happen to them if everyone found out... They were scared"

"They hid their relationship nicely, no one knew about their relationship until.. "

Rie took a deep breath to hide away her tears, "Until... Until One day they found out, Jungkook's side found out first... Despite their dislike for Werewolves they accepted Tae. Having a mate was a big deal for vampires not everyone had it so, they accepted them"

"That's nice!!!" A vampire said with a huge grin and rie tried to smile.

"What about wolves though?"

"The wolves... They didn't took it well... They said bad things to Taehyung, punished him too, telling him to leave Jungkook... When he said no... They.. uhm... cursed them"

"cursed?" Rie nodded.

"They cursed them... The curse was, Jungkook wouldn't be able to drink any other blood except Taehyung's and once he gets the taste of his blood, he wouldn't be able to stop until he sucks every single drop of his blood" there were series of gasp at that.

"... Jungkook tried to resist at first but he was... Going crazy... On the verge of death so at last, despite knowing the curse... Taehyung bared his neck for him, tearing his neck open for his love..."

"Jungkook at the sight of blood couldn't stop himself"

"Jungkook cried, wanting to pull away but unable to do so, he, wanted to say sorry. Seeing the life flicker out of Taehyung's eyes scared the fuck out of him... His tears fell while Taehyung, despite at the verge of death tried to assure him that it's okay, it's fine"

A tear dropped from rie's eyes, she looked down on her fingers as she whispered,

"Taehyung dīed in Jungkook's arms, body pale and not a single drop of blood in his body... That night Jungkook cursed at the moon goddess, screaming at her for giving such a fate to his love"

"Why was the moon goddess being so cruel for them? For Taehyung? Why couldn't she let him be happy, let them be happy. He resented her, mourning over the loss of his love"

The kids cry, too afraid to see them reflecting her pain.

If she looked at them, she would try to change the story, somehow turn into a happy ending, she couldn't do that.

Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, some stories aren't meant for a happy ending.

"Slowly, Jungkook started to lose his mind, the curse was still present on him. His system wouldn't accept anyone's blood even if his people tried to shove it down his throat"

Rie wiped her tears, looking up at the kids who were already crying silently.

"But it was already too late... It's said that today was the day they died, that's why the moon hides away, mourning over the loss of his two precious babies"

"The moon goddess hides away, showing her anger towards her childrens for taking away two precious souls, for separating two lovers"

"She was punishing Taehyung's pack, when the other packs came to know about it. They attacked Taehyung's pack, wiping out their existence"

"And we offer jewelry and fruits for Taehyung, so he wouldn't have to go through all the trauma inflicted by the pack for being poor"

"Today, we hope and pray for the two souls to have a happy ending together"

Rie completed herself, smiling despite her tear stained face.

"This jungkook and Taehyung ever got together?" A girl asks in a barely there voice, so soft and vulnerable that it could be considered a wind instead.

Rie shook her head, "I think we'll stop celebrating lunar eclipse when they'll be together" She says with a hesitant smile.

In a distance, a male hid behind a dark black hood couldn't help but chuckle.

He looked down at the bracelet around his wrist, the same wrist his love gave him.

It's a full moon bracelet, with half of it covered with blackness as if to signify lunar eclipse.

Slowly, the moon is getting covered by darkness, the moon goddess hiding away.

The myth is true, jungkook and Taehyung were indeed killed.

But the reason why the lunar eclipse is celebrated, that is wrong.

No the moon goddess doesn't hide cause she's angry. It's not that.

It's to give the two star crossed lovers privacy to meet in their human forms.

It's said Jungkook's and Taehyung's body was never found.

Well, that's because they never truly gave up on life.

When jungkook was on the verge of death, the moon goddess had arrived.

She had given jungkook an option.

A. He can dīe but they'll both will reborn and be each other's soulmate. It will happen all the time and they'll always fall in love with each other but their forms can't be changed.

Taehyung will always be an omega while jungkook will be a vampire.

2. They will become immortal and be transformed into their wolf and bat form. They can't transform into their human form but they'll remember each other, they will be able to communicate with each other.

Love would neved be accepted, because he thought that an omega and vampire together will be frowned upon and no matter how many times they'll take birth, it will always end bad.

But they'll be together, loved and away from the judging eyes.

For years, they stayed together like that. No one knew they're alive, everyone thought they are dead and in a way, yes they are.

But even death couldn't seperate them.

Lunar eclipse started as a guilt from the wolves, however now, they're contribute in something which both of them would forever be grateful for..

When moon goddess saw how bad the wolves feel, she decided to take mercy on the two star crossed lovers.

On ever lunar festival, they could transform into their human forms and meet.

When the moon was almost hid away, The mysterious male walked up to the chappel, he smiled at the guy coming from the other side, wearing the same clothes as him.

Together they removed their hood, one revealing his blood red eyes while the other revealed his ocean blue ones. They smiled at each other, taking steps together till they were a few inches apart.

"Hi, my love" Taehyung whispered softly.

"You still look beautiful as ever"

Jungkook chuckled, tugging a strand of hair behind his ears.

"Ready to spend another year with me?" he nuzzled his neck

"Always" Tae bared his neck, smiling as his eyes landed on the sky, where once the moon stood.

He closed his eyes as he felt jungkook sink his fangs.

The vampire used his sharp claws to tear a small cut on Taehyung's hand

Jungkook greedily drank blood from his love while the blood stored in the vessels flew in the air and went in The omega's system by the small cut on his hand.

It looked like magic dust has surrounded them.

Since jungkook had chosen the second option, the curse wasn't lifted off him bit the moon goddess had bent the rules for them.

Now, only when the moon was hiding away was the time jungkook could drink from Taehyung. After that he wouldn't be able to even if he tried.

The lunar eclipse stayed for an hour or two, enough time for Jungkook to drink to survive for the rest of the year without needing to turn into his bat form.

On the 4th year, They could stay together in their human forms.

The fruits that was offered was preserved to not get rotten and was transferred to the small hut deep in the woods where no wolf, vampire or any other creature could enter.

A protective layer made by moon goddess existed around their home, keeping the two love birds protected+

From any kind of harms.

Everyone wolf still resents the goddess thinking that she never helped the two.

But she did, more ways then one could count. The wolves feel guilty for not accepting them back then but they have no idea how much they help the two +

In staying together, to be able to hug and kiss each other, to hold and love each other like any other couples could do.

The jewelry, however were found in several orphans mysteriously.

Every gift they offered was put in a use.

Taehyung sighed in contentment when Jungkook pulled away.

The moon coming back to the view. Taehyung smiled as he caressed Jungkook's face.

The omega still looked as good as he looked before, however the vampire looked more livid. His pale skin tan, almost human like.

Jungkook smiled as he leaned to lick away the wounds and the blood staining his Omega's neck.

"Ready to have another year with me, we can explore the Himalayas this time"

"surrounded by snow, bet you'll freeze yourself" Jungkook chuckled at the remark.

"I think, I'll be fine so what do you think"

"I think, I'll love it. We can have snowball fights" Jungkook grins as he boops his nose.

"Or we can try to find the big foot"

"Or maybe we can have a snowman competition"

"I think I'll like that as long as I'm with you" Tae whispered, leaning to kiss his forehead.

"Me too" and with that they faded away, ready to continue their journey.

Death might be able to kill them in front of everyone but it surely could not seperate them.

Star crossed lovers might be like falling stars, broken from the sky to complete their wish.

Everything thinks they fell somewhere, faded away. They thought the star fell for nothing+

having a wish which was never completed.

What they didn't knew was, the star wished to reunite with darkness. Blend so well that they become one.

No one knew, a star never wished to shine. They just wanted company.

Just like how they wanted each other's company.
