That's when her mind travels to Sunday ambulance call...

She smiles at that... "he is more than any of us think...

She searches for a pen inside her bag but finds the black fountain pen with LK written over it...

She smiles and traces it... It was her first year Mbbs when she bought that pen for him...

From the money she was awarded for winning anatomy quiz...

That was a remarkable day for her...

Her mom asked her to buy something out of it...

She was so confused what to buy and whom to buy...

And she comes across a beautiful handwritten case sheet (black fountain pen) on her dad's desk...

She gets to know that it was written by LK with his fav fountain pen...And han, she gets another reason to fall for him...

That day, she decides to buy his favourite pen and present him the day she meets him...

"it's been 8 years I bought this pen for u...

I neither got chance to see u nor give this to u...

When r u coming my prince?

I wanna see u write with this pen...

Ur writing is inked in my brain cells...

"mam! HOD is calling u for his rounds... " sister Rosy says...

Ragini kisses the pen and keeps in her pocket...

Scene opens in the ward where kavitha was glaring swara now and then...

Swara ignores her and continues to do dressing...

He just goes and stands there...

Ragini raises her eyebrow indicating it's his surgery posting and he should not be here in medicine ward...

He makes 'that doesn't matter' faces and shows she is looking beautiful...

She glares him while he gestures her his heart is empty and waiting for her...

She forwards her leg showing her chappal...

He looks at that horrified and hides behind some other doctor...

She chuckles at her mind and nods her head in disbelief...

The head doctor shakes hand with the patient...

"young man! Ur ECG is all fine... No issues with ur heart...

If ur chest pain persists, will get the CT to look into ur lungs... "

"thank u doc...But still I get occasional chest pain and cough... "

"yeah! Will prescribe antibiotics for it..." the head signals sanky and he nods in he will do it...

"so kishore , u can go home and come back if it worsens "

"thank u so much doctor " his wife thanks smiling...

They move to the next patient taking rounds...

Ragini comes to lucky...

"lucky! It's surgery postings for u right... Go to OT"

"nahi jana mujhe... " he whines

"I won't get to see u there " he whines like a 3 year old.

She holds the bridge of her nose...

"lucky! U are here to learn not to flirt... "

"but I don't like surgery... "

She asks folding arms to her chest...

"U...I mean ur department Medicine...And specially, heart..." he rubs his chest.

She chuckles... "heart! Ha? "

"Dr. Ragini! " her head Dr. Manohar calls...

"yes sir..." she goes back mouthing...

"go to OT... "

Lucky stamps his foot and turns to go...

Kishore patient starts coughing and brings out a sputum...

Lucky looks at the bowl accidently and something strikes to him...

He goes to that patient...

"kishore! Hii...This is Dr. Lakshman Prasad...

May I know, since when all this is happening"

Kishore takes a painful breath and holds his left side of the chest...

His wife gives lucky weird looks... "the HOD has seen him... And we r getting discharged... "

Lucky leaves a sigh... "I guess there is no harm giving me the history again"

The wife was about to scold him but kishore interrupts.

"hey doc! I was all fine till yesterday evening...

And developed this sudden chest pain...some uneasiness u know... That's all... "

"okay... What about this sputum? "

"yeah! Occasional cough with sputum... "

Ragini who hears lucky's voice peeps from the group.

This boy has still not gone...

She shakes her head in disbelief...

"were u immobilised anytime recently...have u undergone any limb surgeries..."

"yeah! I had a tibial fracture a month ago and was immobilised for two weeks or so..."

Lucky widens his eyes and ausculates his chest...

And closes his eyes finding something...

"hey u ! What r u doing? " the HOD asks...

Lucky removes the steth...

"sir! It's not just angina as u suspected...

Sudden chest pain, shortness of breath,
Pink frothy sputum and more importantly...

History of immobilisation following a limb surgery... "

Everyone widens their eyes.

"it's clear cut DVT leading to...

"Pulmonary embolism... "
Both ragsan shouts...

"exactly... His left lower zone of lung is going into infarction...decreased breath sounds... "

Everyone gets shocked at that...

"he should not get discharged... Will look into the CT first followed by blood tests... "

HOD nods in yes and asks to proceed after explaining the patient...

He turns to sanky...

"why the past history was not taken properly... We could have lost him...call that doctor... "

Sanky gets to know it's kavitha and calls her immediately...

HOD pats lucky's back...

"who is he by the way? "

Ragini answers proudly...
"my intern sir! "

"intern! I am impressed..."

Lucky just shows his pearls.

"good Job young man! Ur clinical skills are awesome"

Lucky gets excited and winks at ragini...

She narrows her eyes at him...

Sanky scolds kavitha in front of everyone for her negligence...

U r suspended for a week from now..."

Kavitha wipes her tears and goes outside...

She fumes seeing swara coming out of OT and leaves in a rage...

Sanraglak were talking to kishore and his wife about his condition...

Sister Rosy comes with the papers to get signed...

"Dr. Lucky! Please sign here so that will proceed with the tests..."

"okay! " saying that he searches for a pen...

He bites his tongue recalling giving it to abhi and sees the fountain pen in ragin's coat pocket...

He smiles and takes it...

Before ragini could prevent him... He fills the patient details and puts his sign...

While ragini slaps her forehead..

"nice pen ma'am... "

Her eyes brim and she starts hitting him...

Sanky too questions her...
"it's just a pen... Y r u over reacting? "

She removes her hands from lucky...

My presentation is done. just the submission and certificate is pending...

He laughs while she pulls his hair...

Chiru smiles and locks her both hands...

She bites his hand...
