"Blake!" I heard one of my friends yell. I groaned as I got up because I knew he would end up coming up here and water would end up being poured on me. I walk outside of my room, not caring that I am still in my nightclothes. 

"What do you want?" I ask as I finally get to the kitchen. 

"Sorry, didn't know you were still sleeping. Although it does make since you're so tired after what I heard going on in your room last night," Neo laughs. 

"I have no idea what you are talking about." 

"You sure?" 

"Absolutely sure. Aren't we supposed to be getting visitors today?" I ask.

"If we are, that's news to me. I thought that we weren't allowed to have visitors," Neo replied. 

"I heard a doctor was coming by to see the 'situation' as they call it," I said. 

"Will you two shut up?" I hear Anastasia yell from the living room, "I'm trying to watch my show!" 

"Will told me we're supposed to have that doc come by around noon-ish," Sam pitches in, with toast in his mouth. 

"Heard its a guy, so maybe he'll like you so you can shut up about needing a guy," Will said, walking in. 

"We aren't allowed to have relationships with them." 

"Well, they don't need to know because when do we ever follow the rules?"

"True, Where are the others? Are they all still asleep?" I question. 

"Ty is attempting to break into the cameras files to see the schedule of the guards, as usual, Luke is most likely sleeping, Leo is playing with fire upstairs, and Ben is nowhere to be found- yet again," Will replies quickly. I nod and head back to my room to get changed before our visitor gets here. Once I get changed, I go back to the kitchen to eat.

"What time is it?" I ask. 

"Do you think I'd really care? Its not like we should care about any times besides morning, noon, afternoon, and night," Neo comments. 

"Just can you tell me what time it is," I sigh. 

"Eleven forty-eight. Doctor should get here soon according to Will." I thank him and continue eating. After a bit, I see a group of guards with guns walk in and I quickly go into the living room. 

"Guards are here, which means the doctor must be here," I tell everyone in there.

"Cool, time to see what his idea on our condition is," Luke says bluntly. 

"Everyone in the house, go to the main room!" one of the guards shout. I hear footsteps rushing down the steps and come into the room. After a couple minutes, we were all in the same room. Like every other time a doctor volunteers to experiment on us. 

"I didn't know we had a-" 

"Quiet!" 

"Yes, sir," Ben replies quietly.

"This is Dr. Colin Adkins. He will be with you for a while, unless he resigns from the job. Understand?" Commander Graves tells us. We all nod because we know what happens when we speak. "Good. Remember the rules and you'll be fine." Once he says that, all the guards leave us with the doctor. 

"I didn't know you were all children, I'm assuming that the public doesn't know about you," Dr. Colin says. We nod, confirming that the public doesn't know. "You can talk to me, I mean, I do want to hear introductions from all of you." We stare at him in silence because none of the other doctors cared or let us speak to them. "I can start then to give an example. I'm Dr. Colin Adkins as you heard. I'm going to be here for a while to help all of you." 

"Um- Are you sure we can talk to you?" asks Will.

"Absolutely. I'm here as your doctor and friend." 

"Then, I'm William. I've been here since I was ten," Will says to the doctor. After Will introduces himself, the rest of us do the same. 

"So all of you have been here for years. All nine of you only remember the outside world as it was when you came here," he comments.

"Yeah, we were taken from our families because of our condition. They say we're special and that we're freaks," Will says quietly. 

"Who are 'they'?" the doctor asks. 

"The guards," Ben tells him. 

"I heard them mention the rules. Can you tell me what the rules are?" 

"One, no connection to the outside world at all. Two, no relations with our 'caretakers'. Three, no talking to our caretakers unless given permission. Four, no attempting to escape. Five, only use our condition when told to. If we break any of the rules, we're punished," Luke says.

"Does that mean Ben will be punished for talking earlier?" he questions. Luke nods. "Is there any way for you guys to leave?" 

"Two ways," Ty says.

"What are those two ways?" 

"We can get cured and be able to leave," Ty answers.

"The other way?" the doctor asks.

"We die," Leo replies coldly.
