The Shadow King's Secret

"You fools," the Shadow King spat, his eyes gleaming with malevolence. "You think you can defeat me? I have the power of the shadows on my side."

"We'll see about that," Taehyung retorted, his sword flashing in the dim light.

The Shadow King sneered. "You think your little sword can defeat me? I have a secret, one that will ensure my victory..."

"What secret?" Lyra demanded, her eyes narrowing.

The Shadow King's smile grew wider. "My true form... behold!"

The room began to darken, the shadows deepening and twisting until they formed a massive, shadowy entity behind the Shadow King.

"By the gods," Jin breathed, his eyes wide with horror.

The Shadow King's eyes gleamed with triumph. "You see, I am not just a king... I am the embodiment of the shadows themselves..."

Kaito's eyes locked onto the Shadow King. "We'll still defeat you... no matter what form you take..."

The Shadow King's laughter echoed through the room, a cold, mirthless sound.

"You're a monster," Zephyr spat, her eyes blazing with anger.

The Shadow King's smile grew wider. "I am the ultimate power... and you are just mere mortals..."

Taehyung charged forward, his sword flashing in the dim light. "We'll show you the power of mortals!"

The Shadow King laughed, his shadowy form twisting and writhing like a living thing. "Fool... you think you can defeat me?"

Jungkook joined the battle, his fists flying as he struck at the Shadow King's minions. "We'll take you down, no matter what it takes!"

Lyra's eyes locked onto the Shadow King. "We need to find a weakness... something to defeat him..."

Kaito nodded, his eyes scanning the room. "I think I saw something... a glowing crystal... if we can destroy it, we might be able to weaken him..."

Y/n's eyes locked onto the crystal. "I'll take care of it... cover me!"

The group nodded, launching themselves at the Shadow King's minions as Y/n made a break for the crystal... But what they didn't know was that the Shadow King had a surprise waiting for them.

Y/n reached the crystal, their heart pounding in their chest. "I've got it... I've got the crystal..."

But as they raised their hand to strike, a voice boomed from the shadows. "You shouldn't have done that..."

The Shadow King emerged from the darkness, his eyes blazing with fury. "That crystal is the key to my power... and you'll never leave this place alive..."

Y/n stood tall, the crystal clutched in their hand. "We'll see about that... Kaito, now!"

Kaito nodded, his eyes locked onto the Shadow King. "I've got the spell... let's do this..."

But just as Kaito began to chant, Ryker appeared out of nowhere, his eyes gleaming with malice. "You'll never defeat him... I'll make sure of it..."

Ryker launched himself at Kaito, his sword flashing in the dim light. "You're a fool for trusting him.

Kaito's eyes locked onto Ryker. "You fool... you don't know what you've gotten yourself into..."

Ryker sneered. "I know exactly what I've gotten myself into... and I'll stop at nothing to get what I want..."

The Shadow King emerged from the shadows, his eyes gleaming with approval. "Well done, Ryker... you've proven yourself to be a valuable ally..."

Y/n's eyes locked onto the Shadow King. "We'll never let you win... we'll stop you no matter what..."

The Shadow King's smile grew wider. "We'll see about that... Ryker, take care of them..."

Ryker nodded, his sword flashing in the dim light. "With pleasure..."

Cormac's eyes locked onto Ryker.  I'm not about to let you ruin it now."

The Shadow King's eyes narrowed. "Cormac, you fool. You'll never defeat me."

Cormac smiled. "I'm not trying to defeat you, Shadow King. I'm trying to defeat Ryker."

Y/n's eyes widened in shock. "Cormac, what's going on?"

Cormac's eyes locked onto Y/n. "I've been working to take down Ryker from the inside. And now's my chance."

Ryker snarled, launching himself at Cormac. "You'll never win."

Cormac parried Ryker's attack, his sword flashing in the dim light. "We'll see about that."

The Shadow King's eyes gleamed with excitement. "This is perfect. Let them fight each other. It will only make my victory easier."

But just as it seemed like Cormac was gaining the upper hand, Ryker landed a lucky blow, sending Cormac crashing to the ground.

Y/n's eyes widened in horror. "Cormac, no!"

But just as Ryker was about to deliver the final blow, Cormac smiled. "It's okay, Y/n. I planned for this."

And with that, Cormac's body began to glow, revealing a shocking secret.

Y/n's eyes widened in shock. "Cormac, what's happening to you?"

Cormac's smile grew wider. "I've been hiding a secret, Y/n. A secret that will change everything."

Ryker's eyes narrowed. "What are you talking about, Cormac?"

Cormac's body continued to glow, his eyes flashing with power. "I'm not just a mere mortal, Ryker. I'm a magical being, one with the power to control the shadows."

The Shadow King's eyes widened in surprise. "Impossible. You can't be."

Cormac's laughter echoed through the room. "Oh, but I can. And with this power, I'll defeat you both."

Taehyung's eyes locked onto Cormac. "Cormac, what's going on?

Cormac's smile faltered for a moment, before he regained his composure. "I'm doing this for revenge, Taehyung. Revenge against the Shadow King for destroying my family."

Lyra's eyes widened in shock. "Cormac, I had no idea."

Cormac's eyes locked onto Lyra. "No one did, Lyra. But now, everyone will know the truth."

With that, Cormac's power surged, sending Ryker and the Shadow King flying across the room.

The Shadow King struggled to his feet, his eyes blazing with fury. "You dare to challenge me, Cormac? I will destroy you!"

Cormac smiled, his eyes flashing with power. "I'm not afraid of you, Shadow King. I know your secret."

Ryker's eyes narrowed. "What secret?"

Cormac's smile grew wider. "The Shadow King is not just a king. He's a prisoner."

Y/n's eyes widened in shock. "What do you mean?"

Cormac's eyes locked onto the Shadow King. "He's a prisoner of his own darkness. A darkness that consumes him, body and soul."

The Shadow King snarled, his eyes flashing with anger. "Lies! You know nothing!"

Cormac's laughter echoed through the room. "Oh, but I do. I know that you're not in control. Your darkness is."

Taehyung's eyes locked onto the Shadow King. "Is this true?"

The Shadow King's eyes faltered, before he regained his composure. "Enough of this. You'll never leave this place alive."

But Cormac's words had struck a chord. The Shadow King's confidence was wavering.

Taehyung's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with strategy. "Cormac, can you hold off the Shadow King for a moment?"

Cormac nodded, his eyes flashing with power. "I can try."

Taehyung turned to the group. "We need to come up with a plan to defeat the Shadow King once and for all."

Y/n nodded. "But how? He's too powerful."

Taehyung's eyes locked onto Y/n. "That's where you're wrong. We have something he doesn't."

Lyra's eyes widened. "What's that?"

Taehyung smiled. "Hope. And with Cormac's power, I think I have an idea."

Jungkook's eyes lit up. "Let's hear it!"

Taehyung took a deep breath. "We'll use Cormac's power to weaken the Shadow King, and then... we'll use the crystal to trap him."

Taehyung's smile grew wider. "Leave that to me. Cormac, can you—"

Cormac nodded, his eyes flashing with power. "I'll weaken him. But be quick, Taehyung. I don't know how long I can hold out."

Taehyung nodded. "Let's do this."

The group nodded, determination in their eyes. They knew it was a risk, but they were willing to try.

Taehyung's plan worked flawlessly. Cormac's power weakened the Shadow King, and the crystal trapped him, banishing the darkness from the land.

As the Shadow King dissipated into nothingness, Taehyung smirked in victory. "It's over."

The group stared in awe, impressed by Taehyung's strategy. "How did you come up with that?" Y/n asked.

Taehyung shrugged. "I just thought outside the box. Or in this case, inside the crystal."

Lyra laughed. "You're a genius, Taehyung."

Jungkook grinned. "We make a pretty good team."

Cormac nodded, his eyes still flashing with power. "We do. And we couldn't have done it without Taehyung's quick thinking."

Taehyung's smirk grew wider as he began to explain his plan. "You see, I realized that the Shadow King's power was tied to his darkness. So, I needed to find a way to separate him from his shadows."

Cormac nodded, intrigued. "And that's where I came in."

Taehyung nodded. "Exactly. Cormac's power allowed him to weaken the Shadow King, creating an opening for us to attack."

Y/n's eyes widened. "But how did you use the crystal?"

Taehyung's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Ah, that was the key. I remembered that the crystal had the power to absorb darkness. So, I used it to trap the Shadow King's shadows, effectively cutting him off from his power source."

Lyra's eyes lit up. "And then you used the crystal to banish him?"

Taehyung nodded. "Exactly. With the Shadow King weakened and his shadows trapped, we were able to use the crystal to banish him from the kingdom."

Jungkook whistled. "That was genius, Taehyung. You outsmarted him."

(And as for Ryker he did came out from the spell and realised he supported the wrong person. King, Queen and other members forgiven him because  in past Ryker was soo loyal to the kingdom)

Ryker shook his head, still trying to process the sudden turn of events. "I underestimated you, Taehyung. You're a true leader."

Taehyung's smirk grew wider. "It's all about thinking outside the box. Or in this case, inside the crystal."

The group erupted into laughter, still amazed by Taehyung's clever plan. They had saved the kingdom, and they had done it together.

As they celebrated, Taehyung's eyes gleamed with pride. He had proven himself, and he had saved his kingdom. The Shadow King was defeated, and the kingdom was finally at peace.

As the celebration continued, Lyra approached Taehyung with a thoughtful expression. "Taehyung, now that the Shadow King is defeated, we need to think about rebuilding the kingdom."

Taehyung nodded, his eyes serious. "I've already started thinking about that. We'll need to restore the damaged villages and help those who were affected by the Shadow King's rule."

Y/n suggested, "We should also establish a new order, one that will prevent something like this from happening again."

Taehyung's eyes lit up. "I like that idea. We can create a council, made up of representatives from each village, to advise me on important decisions."

Jin nodded, his eyes flashing with approval. "That's a great idea, Taehyung. You're thinking like a true leader."

Ryker, still trying to redeem himself, spoke up. "I'd like to help with the rebuilding efforts. I know I didn't exactly... help during the battle, but I want to make it right."

Taehyung's expression softened. "I appreciate that, Ryker. We'll need all the help we can get."

Jungkook grinned. "And I'll make sure to keep an eye on him, Taehyung. Make sure he doesn't get into any more trouble."

The group chuckled, and the tension was momentarily lifted.
