I worked for an hour and a half at my church yesterday. I filled plastic bags with a bit of sand and placed candles inside of them. That's how you create a quick luminary!

On the church's Sunday Christmas service, the candles inside the bags will be lit. I can't wait to see what they look like when it gets dark!

Perhaps I'll make a chapter containing pictures of the luminaries at night. I think they will be beautiful! I'm also excited to attend the service tomorrow, since I'm rarely able to go to church.
