Deep in slumber
I dream of wonders
My frail mind drifts into a sea of numbers
As I count the ties I had to put asunder
And doubt the unforgivable lies I ponder
How long is the torture lasting , hoow longer
How further is the torchs light casting, I wonder
How deep is the forecast telling the truth, or is it just burying what is real under
And other times the pain lasts and I know I'm a goner
But the book over my heart convinces me I'm stronger
And even though I walk this path a loner
The people I'm carrying on my backdon't suffer
Spirits of the dead whisper saying hey brother
I know you are behind the line and over the border
I know deep inside you're lying and it is a bother
Come live us youll be mine and I'll be your other
I stand deep dividing the mines where people suffer
And the cruel world where we feed on lies as supper
Hoping we can pick up our behinds and move forward
Onward to find another place filled with colours
A place we dreamed of and wished by our mothers
And finally take a rest, a derseving slumber
