Yeah, I'm talking about school

where being a rebel is seen as cool

you cannot be both

a nerd but wearing good clothes

and being nice means paying a certain price

So why bother and learn

when you don't know what the future holds

don't know what to earn

is it even a decision made by myself?

I mean - in the end it's only okay if you are like everyone else..

If being yourself is seen as a crime

when everyone has a say 'bout everything that's said to be mine

parents, the community, even the law says no

eyeryone keeping up a big shitshow

then maybe we should all be ciminals?

So school please look closer

those forced smiles

like a mask supposed to give closure

thoughts running through our heads thousands of miles

you tell us that we learn for life, for our future

but actually I'm not so sure

I'm tired, I'm sick and don't know what to do

"but yeah, just keep going, it's what weall had to go through"
