Dreaming
A/N: Hey guys! I'm really excited for you to read this! I had originally wanted to finish writing this first, but that didn't workout. Anyway, I really want to focus on this story and make it as good as I can, so updates for Ordinarily Special (and possibly one shots) are going to be limited so that I can focus on editing this story. That being said, there is a good chance that throughout the story, I'll be going through and editing things, so I'll tell you whenever I do, and I'll try to tell you which chapter it was in. Also, if anyone has any requests or ideas, send them to me! I won't make any promises, but I'll try to write them in. And finally, I'm not sure if I'll be using names of real people in this book. Chances are that I won't, but for incase I do: I love Alex & Travis & anything that they might (or might not) do or say will only be for the benefit of the story. That being said, I really hope that you guys enjoy this story.
"Mitchie." I heard a familiar voice call my name. I turned around. "Scott? Is that you?" I asked. I saw a figure form in front of me, revealing Scott. "Hi. I miss you, so much." I felt a tear run down my face. I watched at Scott walked up to me, wiping the tear away with his thumb.
"Don't cry, Mitchie. Don't worry, I'll make sure we meet again." We both looked up as gray winds started to swirl, moving towards Scott. They circled around him as he looked up at me again. "Scott!" He looked at me, tears clouding his eyes. "I love you, Mitchie." He said. I opened my mouth. "I-"
*beep beep beep*
I groaned. I've been having so many of these dreams, ever since he left. It's been 4 months. 120 days. 2,880 hours. Each one adds on, making me feel even worse. I got up, picking out a green button-down shirt and black skinny jeans.
I walk into the bathroom and style my hair, pushing that one piece of hair until it stays put. I then put on concealer and a little foundation. I look at myself in the mirror. I look worse. After he left, I stopped caring about how I looked.
I walk downstairs and pour myself some cereal. I start making my coffee when my mother came into the room. "Hey, Mitch. How are you?" She asked. She's been watching me nonstop since Scott left. "Okay, I guess." I reply. "Good." She says. We sit in silence until it's time for me to leave. "Bye mom, I love you." I say. "Love you too, sweetie."

"Scott! Wake up, you have school!" I groan loudly. It's been 4 months. 4 months since I left the love of my life. 120 days, 2,880 hours. I still miss him, maybe a little too much. I get up, picking out a plaid flannel with flawless written on the back, and black jeans. I walk into my bathroom and style my hair, putting gel into it and swiping it up.
I get to the kitchen and grab a breakfast bar before sitting down at the table, across from my mom. "Are you still getting those dreams?" My mom asked me. "Yes. I think they mean something. Before my phone broke, he said he was getting them to. That has to mean something, right?" I asked. She gave me a sympathetic look. "Honey, all that means is that he misses you too. It doesn't mean anything else. And remind me to finally get your phone fixed. I'm sure your new friends wanna talk to you.
Like I have any friends here.
"I'll try to remind you." I reply instead. She smiled. "I wonder if he misses me still." I whisper. "You two were inseparable. I can guarantee you that he does." She replied. "You weren't supposed to hear that." I say. "But I'm glad that I did." She said, smiling. "I should leave, before I get there late... again." I blurt out, standing. "Have a good day, love." She said to me. "You too." I say before walking out the door.
