Days passed and i was now in the living room playing with Athena's daughter.Little Gabby (Gabriella).Apollo liked her.He loved her like his own daughter.He may seem tough and dangerous but in reality he has a soft spot for the girls he loves.He entered the house and Gabby ran to him.She grabbed his long legs with her little hands.

''Jackie'' she shouted.Jackie?I made him a confused look.He smiled at me and he lifted up his niece.She clapped her hands and kissed his cheek.He hugged her and walked to me.

They looked like a dream.I wanted to freeze this moment forever.But with our own child.Will we ever have a child? Will we feel like parents? Will we be together forever? Anyway, he would be a good father. A child at this time is not the best thing. Apollo's father has become very threatening lately. try to calm him down and convince him to retire. He is an obstacle in our lives. Athena left Gabby with us because she didn't want her daughter to come into contact with anything dangerous. Apollo has to go visit his parents soon him and the base. They need to talk and more importantly I need to have a conversation with Carlos myself. Without Apollo knowing. I have caught him crying many times. I don't want to see him like this. Apollo must not know anything .The past will remain the same but we can change the future.

I took Gabby in my hug and he kissed my cheek.

''Jaxon is my middle name love,remember?'' he whispered in my ear.I smiled and looked away.

''Little one,i have to be somewhere very important.When i am done with it i'll come back''he said patting Gabby's head.I placed Gabby in the couch and looked at him.

''Look after yourself,please'' i said knowing that in few hours he'll be in front of his dad.I can't lose him.He smiled and kissed my lips softly.His look was hiding a worry.He looked scared. I felt like something was going to go wrong. I wanted to be there but I couldn't leave Gabby alone. I had to be here for her. He hugged me and whispered in my ear

''Don't worry about me. I'll be fine. Take care of yourself while I'm gone. Don't come back and find you sleeping,'' he said and closed my eyes. I pushed him playfully. I saw him coming out of the big wooden door with heavy steps. I noticed that he had put on his bulletproof vest and that he had his gun with him. But why. For a discussion he was going. Brad had gone to the base in Italy. Apollo had appointed him there to oversee the work there. All the maids and secretaries had left. I was alone with Gabby. It started to rain outside and slowly. The cold started to make its appearance. I put Gabby to sleep and went to  Apollo's office. I went in and a shiver went through my body. Apollo had left the windows open and the cold had come in. I ran to my room and I took a blanket. I closed the window and lit a match. I threw it into the fireplace and prepared the woods a little so that it would have a good fire. I went to his computer and took the radio.

''Sofia here'' i giggled. I saw the bodyguards laughing from the cameras.

''yes ma'am'' they said laughing

"Is everything okay?" I asked, looking at all the parts of the house through the computer.

"everything excellent" says one.

''Thanks''

"Our pleasure" they say and I turn off the radio. While Apollo is away I have to take his position on some things. I took a book and sat near the fireplace. That's when I fell asleep.

Apollo's pov

I'm at the door. I hesitate to knock. Why? Holy shit,Apollo don't be afraid. Just knock on the door. You won't get hurt. He won't dare to do anything. I take another step and knock on the door. A man with a cold face opens. He looks me up and down and smiles.

''And I was saying when you'll knock'' he says and walks in. I'm not afraid of him. He's not going to do anything. I go in and close the creaking door behind me. He sits on the couch and crosses his legs.

"So, how are you?" he looks at me happily. 

"Don't play with me" I say seriously and look at him. I sit on the sofa opposite him.

"Me? Playing with you?" he says and takes a drink.

"Carlos, don't act like you don't know what's going on" I say and he turns and looks at me. But this time it's bad. He looks at me murderously.

"Son. I told your sister and now I'm telling you. There's no way I'm leaving the Mafia. I have to die for that to happen." I'm not talking. I'm just waiting to see how he finishes this sentence.

"But what am I saying" he says and laughs, returning to his seat

"You're too weak to do that." He looks away.

"Look, you're going to die. By my fucking hands. I guarantee it." I spit out and just get up to leave.

''She has made you very weak'' I stopped when I was going to leave. I turn my gaze to him.

''Who''

''That whore'' I waste no time. I hit my hand on the wall and go to his clw. I grab him by the collar.

"Don't you dare call her that again." I say while pushing him against the wall.

"what are you going to do? You're going to hit me and then you're going to fuck her? Anyway, that's all you know how to do" he says and I punch him in the cheek. He immediately turned red. I let him go and he fell down. I spat on him and I said

"If I was ready to kill you once before  , now be afraid" I say and put on my coat to leave. I get in the car and make my trip back to Spain. I want so much to see her. After all this the pressure. I want my lover to hug me. I arrived and parked the car. I greeted the bodyguards at the entrance and went inside.

"Sofia" I called but the only answer I got was the sound of my voice. The house was cold. I went upstairs to the room and saw Gabby sleeping. But Sofia was the master. I entered my room and took the wireless security.

"Did you see Sofia?" I ask and receive an answer that the last time they received a signal from my office. I went up to the top floor and went in. The room here was warm. I saw the burning wood and my gaze went straight to the sofa. She was there. A weight left me. I thought I lost her. I went to her and touched where her legs ended. I covered her with the blanket up to her shoulders and gave her a kiss on the cheek. I sat in my office and selected the cameras. like I do every night. A camera in the back yard and in the hallway didn't work. I have to check in the morning.I was always here so there was no chance of anything happening. I hugged her and took her to bed next to Gabby. Gabby in her sleep fell into Sofia's arms and curled up like a teddy bear. I hugged her and we fell asleep
