September 22nd.
16 weeks pregnant.

Arvilla woke up bright and early, she took a shower, did her hair, and applied some light makeup.

"I'm going to find out what our little angels are today, Joe!  I'm so excited!  After today I can start thinking of names!" Arvilla then feels a sadness.  She imagined her and Joe cuddled up on the couch throwing names out, making each other laugh, and feeling the babies move.  Arvilla just wanted her husband there with her, especially during this time.

"I miss you so much, Joe.  I'd give anything for just five more minutes with you."

Arvilla drove herself to the doctors office where she met Carol and Margene.

"There she is!" Margene says as she and Carol get up from the bench they were sitting on.

"I know I'm late!  I had to pee, then I got in the car and put my seatbelt on annnd.. Babies started kicking my bladder so I went back in!  When I got to the bathroom they calmed down and I didn't need to go anymore!  Buuut-"

"They got you once you got in the car?" Margene laughs.

"Oh yeah!" Arviila chuckles, running her hand down her bump.
"These two are wild ones, I already know!  I am in for it with these monkeys!"

"Are you ready to find out what they are?" Carol asks.

"I am!  I'm kinda nervous though, I don't know why!"

"Aww!  Well let's go see if they'll let us even find out!"

"I didn't even think about that!  Of course mine and Joe's children would be difficult!" Arvilla laughs.

"They're just not wanting to show us, mommy!" The ultrasound tech says.

"What did I tell ya?" Arvilla turns to her friends and chuckles.
"Oh come on, little Holden's!  Spread em towards the camera!" She laughs.

"Why don't yougo ahead and sit up and drink some water.  That usually gets them moving."

"I'll try anything.  I want to know Today, I'm becoming way too impatient!"

Arvilla then sat up and drank the bottled water she was given.

5 minutes later.

"Great, now I have to pee again!  Come on, babes you've gotta be nice to mommy and show her what you are!"

"Let's see.." The woman begins scanning around once again.

"They moved!"

"Yay!  Oh you do listen!  Good babies!" Arvilla giggles through her tears.

"What are they?!" Margene asks with excitement.

"Are you sure you want to know?"

"Yes!  What are they?!" Arvilla smiles big.

"Okay, baby A is a.. Girl!"

"AHHH!" All three women shout.

Arvilla laughs and places her hand on the top of her belly.
"I think we scared them!"

"Poor babies!  But oh my gosh, a girl!  Did you ever expect a girl?" Carol asks.

"No!  My last minute guess in my head was two boys!" Arvilla laughs.
"I thought they're wild already, the must be boys!" She laughs.

"Oh Joe, we have a baby girl!" Arvilla cries.

"Aw honey." Margene grabs her hand.

"I'm okay, it's just hard.  He should be here!"

"He absolutely should!" Carol says.

Arvilla then snaps herself out of it and takes a deep breath. "Joe wouldn't want any tears.  Especially at a happy time like this.. Go ahead.. tell me what baby B is." She smiles and wipes the tears that continued to fall.

"What's your last minute guess?"

Arvilla chuckles as she begins crying harder. "I hope it's a boy.  I really really hope it's a little Joe."

The woman smiles and says, "It's a boy!  Say hello to your mommy, little Joe!"

"Oh!  Oh this is too much!  A baby boy!  I bet you he'll look just like his daddy!" Arvilla smiles.

"You know he will!" Margene says.

"My little babies.. Joe, we get one of each, baby!
  I can't believe this!  We're so blessed!"

Arvilla places her hands on the sides of her belly, and closes her eyes.
"Keep us safe, Joe.  I want to be able to carry these precious babies and deliver them safely.

  Please help me be a good home for them these next few months."
