"What?  Japan?  Robert what about us?"

"I wanted to talk to you and ask if maybe you would three would like to come with me.  I know how much you love an adventure."

"Not when I'm pregnant!  Honey, I don't want to leave now.  Plus I have the boys here."

"Then I won't go, it's fine."

Arvilla tears up and shakes her head.
"No.  Robert, if this is something you want to do then you should go.. But I'm staying."

"I'm not leaving you behind.  I'm serious, I don't have to go."

"But you want you to do what you want."

"What I want is you and our family.  I had only brought it up because I thought you might want to go.  I'm going to call him back now and tell him No Deal. Please don't be upset."

Arvilla looks down.

"You're pouting your lips.  I said don't pout!" Robert lifts her chin.

Arvilla smiles softly. "I love you."

"I love you more."

"We can move some day if you want to.  I just don't want to move to a whole other country with toddlers while pregnant.  And I can't leave my boys.  They need me too."

"I understand.  You don't have to."

"Thank you..
  Oh but Bobby?"

"Yes?"

"Can you do me one little favor?"

"Anything, my love."

"Fire your secretary."

"Why?" Robert laughs.

Arvilla shrugs her shoulders. "I don't like her."

Robert laughs and brings Arvilla in for a hug.

"So I'm gonna call Mr. Yamasaki and tell him to keep dreaming. It's not gonna happen."

Arvilla smiles softly. "And I'm gonna go pick up the twins from Margene."

"Why don't you wait for me? I'll make the phone call and we'll go together. I'll leave my car here."

"That means I have to wake up at the ass cracked of dawn to drop you off in the morning."

"No I'm off tomorrow. We can just go pick it up whenever."

"Oh good!" Arvilla smiles and kisses his lips.

"Oh thank the Lord! Heidi, Joe, you are out of here! Look, your mommy's here!"

"My Mommmmmyyyyy!" Heidi shouts.

"I lub my mama, Margie." Joseph says to her.

"I know you do. You're such a sweet boy!"

"Ya I know I a sweet boy!" He says as Arvilla walks in.

"MOMMY!" He screams and runs to his mother.

"Hi baby!" Arvilla lifts his.

"You two both look rough. What exactly happened in that office?" Margene gives them a coy look.

Arvilla looks to Robert and laughs. "We had some fun, let's just leave it at that."

"Yuck!"

"Mommy you guys had fun? Did you go on da play gwound?"

"You could say that." Margene laughs.

"Oh goodness! Hey Heidi and Joe, guess what!"

"You getting me a—"

"No!"

"Aw man!"

"Bobby is going to live with us!" Arvilla smiles.

"Uncle Bobby alweady does lib wih us." Joseph says.

"Well not technically." Arvilla chuckles.

"Me not getting a getting a doggy today?"

"Heidi."

"I'll work on her, Heidi."

Arvilla turns to Robert. "You better not start being a little trouble maker, mister."

Robert laughs. "I'm just saying it would be fun.  And she's such a little princess!"

"I AM a Pwincess!" Heidi runs to Robert.

"Aw look at this sweet girl." He lifts her.

"I a wittle pwincess!  I a wittle pwincess!" Heidi sings.

"Oh goodness!" Arvilla laughs.

Later that night.

Arvilla laid beside Robert.

"This is our first official night living together." Robert smiles as he lays on his side with his head propped up on his hand.

"It is!" Arvill gets a big smile on her face.

"What to do, what to do!" Robert hums.

Arvilla giggles loudly.

Robert then places his hand on her thigh.
"How do you feel?"

"Well.... I'm a little hungry."

"We just had dinner!"

"Excuse me but I am carrying your child over here!"

Robert chuckles. "I know, I'm just messing with you.  Want me to make you a sandwich or something?"

"You can do that after."

"After?"

Arvilla smiles and uncovers her legs.  She then crawls over and straddles him. "After."

"Ooh damn, you are hungry!"

Arvilla giggles before leaning down and burying her face in his neck.

August 16th.
16 weeks pregnant.

"Roar, ROAR!  I a MONSTER!" Joseph shouts as he knocks down Heidi's doll house.

"AHHHHH" She screams.

"Hey what's going on you guys?" Robert asks.

"Bobby he killed my dolly-house!"

"He killed it?"

"Yeah all da peoples are deaded!"

"Honey no they aren't. Here I'll pick it up."

"It brokeded!"

"Heidi, I can fix anything!"

Heidi whines and rubs her eyes.

Meanwhile Arvilla is listening to all of this from the kitchen.

"Joseph."

"Yes mommy?"

"Come in here please."

"I come to you, mommy!" Joseph smiles and runs to his mother.

"I here!"

Arvilla gets down to his level.
"Joseph, knocking over sissy's dollhouse was not a nice thing to do, and you know that."

"But I a monster, mommy!"

"No you're not. You're a nice boy!"

"But I wanna be a monster tooooo!"

"Well we can't knock things over. Now go tell sister you're sorry, please."

"Otay Mommy."

"Thank you." Arvilla kisses him then stands.

"You got it mommy? You need my help?"

"Oh thank you, love. You're such a big help!  You see? That's my sweet boy!"

"Yeah!" Joseph giggles.

He then runs to his sister. "I sowy sissy."

Heidi sniffles and turns away from him.

"Mommy she no wisten to me!"

"Heidi, brother is trying to apologize."

"Heidi knows that." She says wiping her nose with her sleeve.

Robert chuckles softly at her cute response.

"No laugh at me!" Heidi shouts.

"I'm not, I promise!  I just thought you were cute."

"Heidi is cute." She smiles.

Her new thing was speaking of herself in third person.

"Sissy I say I so sowy!"

"It kay bubba.  No do it again or I gonna have to bite you!"

"Nooo!" Joseph whines.

"There will be no knocking over doll houses, and there will be no biting in this house!" Arvilla says sitting on the couch and taking a huge sigh of exhaustion.

Heidi then taps Joseph on the arm and points to her mother.

Joseph looks up and they both giggle.

"Um.. are you two really standing there laughing at me? I can see you!"

"Yep!" Joseph nods.

"Why are you laughing at mommy?" Robert chuckles.

"Cause mommy's getting so so fat!" Heidi says making Arvilla pout.

"Mama's tummy is growed and growed!" Joseph shouts as he holds his hands out pretending to have a big belly.

"I'm only sixteen weeks! You guys just wait. You should have seen me when I was pregnant with you two!"

Robert sits beside the twins and asks, "Don't you remember why mommy's tummy is growing?"

"NO!" Heidi crosses her arms and frowns.

"By that reaction I think you might."

"Mama eat too many foods." Joseph says.

Arvilla laughs. "No! Silly boy!"

"Mommy's got a baby in there!"

"Oh me forgot!" Joseph giggles cutely. "Mama how you get a baby in there?"

"Well.... Robert and I-"

"Arv.."

"We combined to make the baby."

"Wha? You-you cobined?"

"Whas cobined?" Heidi asks.

"Yeah mommy. What does that mean?" Robert asks.

Arvilla laughs. "It means we both came together to make the baby."

"How you came together?" Heidi asks.

"Exactly what I just said. Bobby finds it very easy when he's with me."

"Arvilla please stop this!"

"Why?! They have to learn where babies come from!"

"I feel very uncomfortable."

"Get over it."

"But, but, but, but mommy?"

"Yes Joseph?"

"How the baby was made? Did you use sticks?"

"Sticks? No sweetie." Arvilla chuckles. "We didn't use sticks.

"When you guys maked the baby?" Heidi asks.

"Bobby's birthday." Arvilla smiles.

"Oh my gosh!" Robert covers his face.

"Where were me a bwuder?"

"Asleep." Arvilla giggles.

"I not ever sleeping again!"

"Why not?" Arvilla laughs.

"Cause I not want you to make anymore babies!"

"Aww you stinker."

"Mama is da baby a boy?" Joseph asks.

"I don't know. We can possibly find out tomorrow, but I think Bobby and I are gonna wait to find out when they're born. You you want the baby to be a boy?"

"No!"

"You want another sister?"

Joseph looks at Heidi and makes a sad little face.
"Eh.."

Both Robert and Arvilla laugh.

"What do you want Heidi? A brother or a sister?"

"No more boys! Boys stink!"

"Heyyyy!" Joseph pouts and hits his sister.

"AHHHH!" Heidi grabs her arm and overreacts.

"Stop it! Enough you two."

"Mama I no want a baby!"

"I know but you're getting one."

"I no like this!"

"You'll be alright."

Joseph then walks over to Arvilla and she lifts him on the couch.

Joseph playfully hits his hands on her belly and giggles.

"Aw look! Joe's playing with the baby." Arvilla smiles. "Heidi, you wanna come feel?"

"No."

"Let's just go sit." Robert scoops her up and sits beside Arvilla. "Say hi little friend."

"NO!"

"Heidi Louise, that's not nice."

Joseph tries lifting Arvilla's shirt. Arvilla pulls it up revealing her belly.

"Look at that beautiful belly!" Robert smiles.

Arvilla smiles then turns back to Joseph who was kissing his unborn sibling.

"We can be fwiends I think." Joseph says.

"You think?" Arvilla laughs.

"Yeah mama. I jus no want dem to take you fwom me."

"Aw baby boy that's not gonna happen! I'll always love you, Heidi and this baby all the same."

"But you lub me most." Joseph lays his head on her bump and gives her an adorable smile.

Arvilla giggles and lifts him up.

"Carful mommy! No put my booty on the baby! I gonna hurt dem!"

"I'm being very careful, precious. See? You're already such a great big brother!"

"Yeah!"

"Mama, uncle Bobby is the baby's dada?"

"I'm almost positive."

"Get out of here." Robert playfully shoves her.

Arvilla laughs.

"But dada is in Heaben. Why da baby not dada's too?  Is Bobby our new dada?"

Arvilla was surprised at the child's questions. She took a deep breath and looked at Robert.

"Your daddy in Heaven will always be your daddy.  Joe Holden is the one who put you two in my tummy."

"My name is daddy's name." Joseph giggles.

"It is!"

"Why we have two daddy's?  Why it not da same?"

"It's hard to explain but you'll understand one day.  See, I was married to your daddy and we.."

"Cobined?"

"Exactly!  We combined!  And we made you and Joe.  Then your daddy went to Heaven, and I met Robert-"

"Uncle Bobby!"

"Yes.  Uncle Bobby.  Thank you for correcting me."

"And we fell in love and had this baby.  It's all a bit confusing, I know."

"Did you cobined and have us on uncle Bobby's birthday too?"

"Heh!  Well to be honest it probably was almost to the date.  Definitely around that same time since this baby's due date is so close to yours and Joe's, but I'm not too sure exactly when it was.
  I like to say it happened in Borneo." Arvilla then looks to Robert and says, "It was either there or in his Bonneville right before we left."

"Nice!" Robert chuckles. "That's so cool compared to where our child was conceived.  Man, our kid will be boring compared to your first two."

"Stop it, leave them alone!" Arvilla laughs. "They're all special.  Hey and our baby was conceived in Miami.  That's not borning."

"Compared to Borneo it is!"

Arvilla laughs. "It's better than Pocatello.  They could have possibly been conceived here."

"Yeah but in a really cool car!"

Arvilla laughs.

"Hey where we gonna cobined to make my puppy?"

Arvilla nods. "If you don't stop with that, little girl."
