"Would you like for us to bring your family back, Mrs. Holden?"

"I actually just want my boys to see them first.  I can call them back, don't worry.  Thank you though!"

"No problem!  Congratulations.  Enjoy your beautiful babies."

"Thank you." Arvilla smiles sweetly.

"We'll go get the boys." Margene says to Carol.

"Hm?" Carol turns to her.

Margene gives her a look and nudges Carol.

"Oh yes! Let's go!"

Arvilla rolls her eyes and Robert chuckles.

"They're fun." He says.

"Heh! Yeah, they're somethin'."

Robert then sits beside Arvilla and looks into her eyes. "Arvilla, you're the most incredible woman I've ever met."

Arvilla smiles softly. "Bobby.."

"You are."

"Thank you.. That's nice to hear."

Robert kisses the top of her head.

"Would you like to hold one?"

"Can I?" Robert's face lights up.

"Of course!"

Robert then takes one of the babies.

"Joe, say hello to uncle Bobby!"

"Aww, hello little guy! You're so cute."

Arvilla smiles before looking down to Heidi.
"She's out! Being born must be so tiring!" She says in a baby voice as she laughs.

"They're so perfect."

"They sure are."

A while later Margene and Carol came in with the boys.

"There you guys are!"

"Margie told us to give you two some time alone." Miguel says.

Arvilla gives her best friend a look.
"Oh did she?"

"Yep! Woah! Look at the babies!" Miguel smiles big.

"They're here!" Arvilla smiles.
"Come close so you can see their little faces!"

"They're so cute, Mrs. Holden." Alan says.

"Thank you!"

"Can we hold them?" Miguel says full of excitement.

"Of course!"

"We need to wash our hands first, Miguel."

"Quick! Quick! Quick!" Miguel runs to the sink.

"Aw he's so excited!"

"I am! I love babies!

"So sweet!"

Once the boys hands were washed Miguel hopped in bed beside Arvilla.

"Miguel be carful, she just gave birth!"

"It's okay, I'm too happy to hurt!" She smiles.

"Which one is this?" Miguel asks.

"This is Heidi."

"She's so beautiful!"

"Aw, thank you!"

Robert then hands Joseph to Alan.
"I'm guessing this is Joe?" He chuckles.

"Yes, that's my baby boy!" Arvilla smiles.

"He's adorable."

"Thank you. He looks just like his father!" She giggles softly.

"He's so proud of you, Mrs. Holden. You've already done so incredible, and I know you'll just get even better as time goes on."

Arvilla tears up. "You're so sweet, Alan. Thank you."

The boys hung out for a while longer before Alan told Miguel that they should leave and give her family time to see the baby.

"Robert, you go on too. You need to sleep!"

Robert smiles. "I'm gonna go to the hotel to shower and change, and I'll be right back."

"Okay." Arvilla smiles.

"Would you like for me to bring you anything?"

".. I really want chick fil a!"

Robert chuckles. "No worries. Your wish is my command.

"Thank you so much! You're the best!"

"Uhh- No that's for sure you! But I'll happily accept second place."

"Deal!" Arvilla laughs.

Soon Joe's son and family came in to meet the twins.

"Hello, John!  Hi everyone!  You guys come in, they're wide awake!" Arvilla chuckles.

"Look at these cuties!" John's wife gushes.
"John, these are your brother and sister!"

John laughs. "That's crazy but exciting."

Arvilla chuckles.
"Thank you all for coming.  It really means a lot to me."

"We wouldn't miss it!"

Arvilla's smile softened.
".. How's Francine?"

"The same."

"Oh.. I'm so sorry."

John laughed and Arvilla immediately regretted what she said.
"I'm sorry!  That was horrible, I shouldn't have said that."

"No, you're fine!  She's.. a lot to handle."

"Yeah well.. Tell her we send our best."

"I will.."

Just then John's wife changes the subject.
"Arvilla, will you have help with them?  At least for the first few weeks?"

"Oh no, I decided I didn't want any help.  I want to do this on my own."

"That's very brave of you."

Arvilla chuckles. "Yeah.. I think I can do it."

"Of course you can!" She smiles.

Two days later Arvilla and the babies were ready to go home.

"Oh walking doesn't feel the best." Arvilla makes a painful face.

"Well carol and I told you we got it!  Just sit there and ice your hoo-ha!"

"Margene, I want to dress my own babies.  I'm fine.  I'll ice later."

"Like you'll have time!" Carol scoffs.

"Okay just stop!  Both of you have told me plenty of times how little time to myself I'll have or how hard it'll be on me, don't you think I know that?!  I don't care!  I am fully aware of the level of difficulty I'm about to face. You two going on and on about it isn't helping one bit!  So please, just stop talking!"

Carol and Margene freeze.

"Okay."

"We're sorry!" Carol says.

Arvilla sighs and turns her attention back to the babies.

"Mommy's so sorry about that.  You two are so good to just sit here so patiently while I yell at your aunts!"

"You two did so well on your first car ride!  Mommy is so proud of you!"

Heidi slowly shuts her eyes and Joe makes cute little baby noises.

Arvilla giggles. "They're such good babies!"

"They're going to be great for you tonight, aren't you?" Robert speaks to the twins who were both in their carriers.

"Huh, little peas?  Tomorrow morning I want a good report from your mama."

Arvilla laughs and rubs her hand up and down Robert's back.
"Thanks again for everything.  And again.. sorry that you had to see my lady bits.." Arvilla's face turns a light shade of red.

"It's okay, Arvilla!" Robert laughs.
He then hugs her and kisses her head.

"You're gonna do amazing tonight, and Every night.  Don't you worry."

"Thank you, Bobby."

Arvilla changed into comfortable pj's before everyone left, and then the real work started.
  It was two against one.

"Joe.  You better be with me tonight.  Help me with these babies, honey!"

"Got it!  Wow, getting two on the boobies at the same time is some tough work!  But I did it!  Yay mommy gets a point!"

Suddenly Heidi pulls away and cries.

"Honey, don't do that.  Stick it back in your mouth, and eat your dinner."

Once again Heidi unlatched and screamed and cried.

"Oh no." Arvilla sighs.

Heidi didn't want to be fed.  She wanted to be held, and bounced.  Unfortunately Joe wanted to be fed and hated the feeling of being walked while eating.

"Heidi, you're gonna have to just calm down until brother finishes his meal.  I'm sorry baby but I can't please the both of you right now.  I can't bounce Joe while he eats, he'll get a tummy ache."

Heidi's face turned red as she arched her back and screamed louder and louder.

"Oh my gosh!  Never have I ever seen a baby behave this way, Heidi Louise." Arvilla was shocked at her behavior.

Hearing her scream, and feeling her kicks on his legs, Joe suddenly became very unhappy.

"Oh no, not you too!" Arvilla pouts.

Arvilla then stands up, which was a struggle in itself, and softly bounced them as she walked back and forth.

Joe didn't want to be bounced, and Heidi was beyond upset, there was no calming her down.

"You guysss! Please stop crying.. Please." Arvilla's eyes water. "Please behave for mommy.. I don't know what to do, kiddos.. I'm so lost at what to do for you.."

Tears slowly ran down Arvilla's cheeks.
"Your daddy.. he would know exactly what to do." Arvilla's voice shakes.

"Oh Joe." She says in a whisper. "How could you leave me all by myself?"

Arvilla then slowly dropped to her knees and cried along with her babies.

Arvilla is going on very little sleep. Her hormones are all over the place, she's missing her husband, and she's still in pain from the birth and nursing her babies.

"I can't do it by myself, Joe. Why aren't you here?" She sobs.
