In the Drift Dimension
In Sammy's Teahouse, a customer just left after they had their tea. "Hey, good night, Sammy." The customer said as they walked over to the exit. "Good night, Normulon!" Sammy said before he continued to sweep up his floors, leaving him alone with another customer.
The customer, who had the appearance of a mummy in a suit and had with multiple eyes on his face. One of the wraps split, letting out a tube-like tongue and drank the tea. The customer let out a sigh of contempt, feeling relaxed. "I'm sorry, sir, but we're about to close." Sammy informed as he walked over to the customer's table. "Oh, I won't be long... Sammy." The customer said, watching him walk away and continued to drink his tea until the cup was empty.
The customer takes the empty tea pot, that is still filled with herbs, spins it sideways before looking inside of it. "This might be the most delicious tea I've ever tasted. I almost understand why you abandoned your post for this quaint life... Kheirosiphon."
"No..." Sammy muttered in shock. Sammy then transforms into a flame being, getting rid of the disguise as he glared at the stranger. Red exoskeleton came out of the stranger, showing who he truly was. "YOU!" Kheirosiphon shouted, his body flaring before he stretched his arm, destroying one of the tables as the stranger dodged, now standing on the wall with his hands on his hips.
"I'm not going back!" Kheirosiphon yelled, trying to land a hit on the stranger, but was given no luck. "I don't like sacred flames. I like tea!" He continued as the stranger pulled out a light blue crystal, and fired a laser at the flame being, which was a direct hit.
When the laser disappeared, and a clear egg-shaped capsule, with an 8-bit version of Kheirosiphon inside, was in his place. The stranger picked the capsule and walked over to the counter, set the crystal down and opened it up. Inside, there was other egg-shaped capsules, majority of them were filled, but three of them were empty and a vacant spot before he set the capsule containing Kheirosiphon in that spot. He closed the lid and shrank it back down and it projected a holographic screen which show's that Kheirosiphon was a wanted criminal for desertion. He tapped the screen, and the status was changed to neutralized.
"Who's next?" The stranger asked out loud, scrolling through who he should go after next, but none of them caught his attention.
Void Caster: Neutralized. He scrolled to the next one.
Caged Dude: Violation. He hummed as he scrolled again.
M. Mertens: Desertion. He scrolled again.
Oscillator: Neutralized. He scrolled again.
Bug + Burpball: Misbehavior. "No..." He scrolled again.
Canaria: Wanted for Questioning. "No..." He scrolled again.
That was until something, finally caught his attention. Prismo: Violation.
After all these years...
"Finally."
Meanwhile, with Prismo in the Time Room
The sound of an alarm blaring, sounding like an alarm clock. Prismo, a pink-colored shadow, was chilling in his hot tub, looking depressed. Someone cleared their throat. "Aren't you gonna answer that?" The guy asked. Prismo looked over at the guy, who was Wyatt, one of Tree Trunk's ex-husbands. "Mr. P-Prismo..." Wyatt stuttered. "Just ignore it. Make your wish." Prismo said; he even sounded like he was depressed.
"Well, I'm trying to, but... it's kinda... distracting. You have no idea what it took. The terrible things I did just to get here. And now I can't even concentrate!" Wyatt exclaimed. "The wish. Spit it out." Prismo said. "Oh. Ughh. Aagh! Oh, I wish it was quiet enough to think!" He shouted, hitting his fist against his head.
"Wish granted."
Wyatt was about to clear up his mistake but was sent away to a wish-altered reality where it looked like it was made back in the old days of animation.
After a while, Prismo decided to see what was up. He pressed a button on his universal remote, and an urgent notice warning popped up on the screen. His shadow body leaves the hot tub, leaning against one of the walls. "A crossover. Okay." He muttered to himself as he pressed another button, and it shows that it's happening in Ooo. "Oh, hey! Ooo." He said, a little bit a surprise in his voice and pressed a button to see what's happening.
He kept pressing a button, going through different things that were happening, before it showed a marketplace in the woods.
"Oh, my gosh, you really are Fionna, Y/n, and Cake! The real ones!" Astrid exclaimed on the tv. "Oh, crud!" Prismo exclaimed in shock and fear, smacking himself on the head. He hopes that we-know-who finds out about this, especially about what happened to Y/n, he might as well go ahead and start digging up his grave to avoid we-know-who's wrath. In a hurry, he quickly pressed some buttons, closing the doors and teleporting the three of them into the Time Room.
Y/n's pov
"What in the world?" I questioned out loud, looking around the new area we're in. It looks like we're in a yellow box, with a hot tub, and a giant pink shadow on the- wait... pink shadow? "Ayo! What's going on now, Cake?" Fionna asked. "I don't know, but this is cool!" Cake exclaimed. "And yet, better question is, who the heck is that guy!" I pointed over towards the giant pink shadow.
"Ugh! What's wrong with Cake's voice?" The pink shadow guy asked. "Whoa! Big boy!" Cake said in amazement. "No, this is gonna drive me nuts." The pink shadow muttered and detached the collar Cake was wearing.
"Hey!" Cake shouted in anger, before realized that she was still speaking, the only difference was that it didn't sound robotic. "Hey. Heeeeeeeeeeeeey!" She dragged the last part out in a singing tone. The pink shadow hummed, "She's off-model, and you too." He said and snapped his fingers. The snap made Cake be able to stand on two legs and have arms. "Whoa! I'm standing on my back legs! ...Oh! Arms! *gasp* Legs are arms!" Cake was amazed by the transformation.
"Wow! So cool!" I exclaimed with stars in my eyes. "Amazing! It's like a video game and we're getting upgrades for beating those weirdos." Fionna guessed. She raised her hand, ready to give her a high-five, and Cake did raise her hand, but her arm stretched. "Ha! I can stretch!" Cake laughed as she continues to stretch her arm.
The shadow guy snapped his fingers again, and my appearance changed this time.
"Holy cow! I don't have my glasses and I can see perfectly! I even have two more eyes! Whoo-hoo!" I exclaimed as I felt my face and felt that I have a second pair of arms and fangs, throwing my fists in the air and felt another pair do the same. I looked at down with a confused look on my face and gasped, I have another pair of arms! Not only that, but my outfit changed as well! "I look great! And damn I look hot!" I boasted, admiring my new looks.
"Hang on! I wonder if I can..." I muttered to myself and walked to one of the walls and attempted to climb up, and I did! "I'm a spider monster... thing! This is awesome!" I exclaimed in excitement.
"Much better." The guy muttered. "Do me next!" Fionna said, her arms opened wide. Her outfit changed to have her hair tucked into her bunny hat, with only a little bit of her bangs poking out. She wore a two-toned green backpack, an ocean blue long sleeved shirt, a blue skirt, white socks that went up over her knees that had two thin, light-blue, horizontal strips at the top of them, and black Mary Janes shoes. "Aw! I just wanted cool powers." She whined. "Hey, at least you look cute!" I said, squeezing her left cheek. I also noticed that I had gotten taller because instead of me being taller by a couple inches she was up to my bust, bunny ears included.
"Maybe you have some. Try flying." Cake suggested. Fionna flapped her arms as she jumped up and down as she ran around the room. Cake laughed, "Faster! Faster!"
I joined in with running around the room, testing our abilities. I found out that I can make stuff with webs, my first thing I made was an electric guitar with the body in the shape of a spider. To see if it was in working condition, I played a guitar solo of 'Can't Take My Eyes Off of You'.
https://youtu.be/1bxyKdGX4Ic
"Yeah, it works!" I said loudly, lifting it up in the air with my top two arms.
We then heard typing on a keyboard and saw that he was typing something in. When we got closer and saw what was on the screen, he typed in Simon Petrikov.ย
The computer flashed [Connecting...] before the big screen changed to- Oh! I covered Fionna and Cake's eyes. "Look away you two! You both aren't old enough to see that!" I exclaimed. "I'm in my late 20's, dang it!" Fionna stated as she and Cake pushed my hands away, and the computer shot a laser through the screen and touched the guy's head. I looked back down at the computer and it said 'Access Denied'. "Nope. Still locked out." The pink shadow said, sounding disappointed. "Then how did they get here?" He asked himself.
"We stepped through a portal in that sad man's head." Fionna informed, making me cover my mouth to hold back a laugh. "Better take a closer look..." He said, typing into the computer. I see the guy, named Simon, teleporting him from his shower, to here. He looked around the room, before looking forward. "Now what?" He rhetorically asked as I covered Fionna and Cake's eyes, again, including my own.
"For starters, let's get you covered." The shadow man said. I heard a snap, and the sound of fabric; telling me that it was safe to look now. I took my hands off of mine, Fionna's, and Cake's faces, seeing that Simon was in a blue nightgown.
"Great..." He muttered loudly.
"What happened with this one, this one, and one of my old pals, Simon?" The pink shadow asked. Simon glanced over at us before looking back at the pink shadow guy, making me look at him in confusion; I don't know any pink shadows. "I didn't do anything." Simon said, crossing his arms over his chest and looked away, which showed that he's lying, and I guess that the shadow guy can see that as well. "Liar. Crossovers don't just happen!" The shadow guy stated.
"Look, it seems like you two have some stuff to work out, so can you send us back to Ooo?" Fionna asked as Cake turned her arm back to normal and I made my guitar disappear. But, the shadow just shushed us before turning his attention back to Simon, then his computer, typing something in. "Let's try rewinding..." He muttered. It shows the very moment we got here in reverse, until it paused, showing this weird, red statue of... something? I don't know, but it looks weird and creepy.
" What the heck, dude?" The pink shadow queried to Simon, who was against the edge of the hot tub. "Well, you couldn't bring her back, so I helped myself." Simon said. "Who's her?" I asked, but I was ignored, making me pout. "I got limits to my powers, bro. That doesn't give you an excuse to mess with my stuff." The pink shadow stated. "Whatever, dude." Simon mocked before he grabbed a soda can from the hot tub, opened it, and started drinking it.
Meanwhile, I got bored and sat next to Cake. "Simon, I mean it. Just because it's in your head, doesn't mean it's yours." The pink shadow lectured. "Ooooh!" I heard Cake say. I turned my head to see that she grabbed a remote. "I've always wanted to try one of these." She said, pressing a random button. The screen changed to a wasteland of an environment, and a person with a lemonhead with a black suit, another one, but with a light blue suit, was draped over a tree branch, and there was a lemon... horse? I think?
"Drink the water, you beast! You-" The lemonhead wearing all black commanded, before the lemon horse moved its head away, making the lemonhead in black fall to the ground, knocking over the cup of water. "You beast of burden, drink the water. Drink. Drink this water!" He continued to order, until the lemon horse kicked him in the head like it was a punch, making me burst out laughing. And it grew more frequent when the lemonhead in black screamed, which seemed to catch the pink shadow's attention.
"Hey! That's not a toy! Bad cat! Bad buddy!" The pink shadow stated, summoning a spray bottle and a lit candle, and used them against us. The spray bottle seemed to be filled with just normal water, and I got a smell of the candle, and it smelled like... cinnamon?! I started gagging at the smell. What the heck?! It was one of my favorite smells, now its irritating my nostrils! "Ahh! Why would you do that?!" Cake questioned, trying to get away from the water being sprayed onto her.
"Nobody sprays cat and irritates my older sister with candle smells!" Fionna exclaimed. She spotted the collar Cake used and threw it at the pink shadow man, but it didn't do any damage and it landed in the hot tub. "Who do you think you are, you big bully? And why'd you bring us here? Where is here?!" She tried many ways to physically hurt him, but nothing worked. "Okay, o-kay. Chill." The pink shadow said, making the spray bottle and candle disappear; finally, I could actually breathe again.
"Wow, okay- I am Prismo the Wishmaster." He introduced. "That tells me nothing!" Fionna exclaimed. "It's literally in the name, 'Wishmaster', who for some reason as the same name that one of my friends have as a nickname." I explained, and added, feeling confused. "Exactly, she gets it! Anyways, as Wishmaster, I grant... wishes. And sometimes those wishes require me to make new wish-altered realities." He explained, and then went on to show us the 'wish-altered realities' he was talking about, which was quite a lot.
"Lotsa wishes, lotsa worlds. The Time Room is the perch from which I keep my eye on the resulting multiverse." He added. "Okay. Keep going." Fionna said, becoming slightly interested. "Uh, I used to like my job. But after eons of making stuff for others, I wondered what it would be like to make something for myself." He explained, showing a projection of a younger version of himself, and a cylinder container, with a glowing, f/c ball inside, floating by his shoulder.
"Let's see... She's gotta be a good fighter, so she'll need a badass sword. Annnd... everyone needs a best friend. Ooh, cats are cool. And now just put them in a big ol' treehouse on a grassy field in a magical world. Done." He said. He then realized what he had just did. "Shoot. Did I just make a copy of Finn and Jake?" He asked himself, seeing a genderbent version of Finn but the hat had bunny ears, and instead of a dog, it was a cat with white and coffee-colored fur, the both of them fist-bumping.
He just shrugged, which accidently knocked over the floating cylinder. When it hit the ground, the lid opened, and the glowing ball flew into the computer with a misty, f/c trail behind it, and it disappeared. On the screen, another person was added to the fist-bump, and it looked like Y/n! "Shoot!" The younger version of Prismo exclaimed. "Uhh..." He dragged looking around. "He's not going to find out. Right? Maybe I can add ourselves in so then she'll have her best friend and her boyfriend with her, maybe change the color schemes a little..." He asked, his voice cracking in fear. He then went back to typing onto the computer with a nervous expression on his face.
"So, I just leaned into it. Maybe it wasn't the most creative thing I could make, and pretty much not the smartest thing with Y/n, but I liked making your stories." Prismo said as it showed that version of us running through the woods with smiles on our faces. "Wait! That's us!" Cake exclaimed as I stared in shock. "Yeah, totally." Prismo confirmed.
"You had adventure." It showed us fighting this giant scorpion with multiple torsos coming out of it.
"You had romance." It then showed us Fionna having a dinner date with a flame being, that looked awfully familiar, and showed Y/n cuddling someone on a bed that looked like the person from her dream, shades of green, yellow, and other colors, the both of them asleep. "DJ Flame?! And, uh... whoever that is." Cake called out. 'Oh... him.' I thought, remembering Fionna's break-up with him; I never forgave him for that.
"You had friends." It showed the three of them being declared knights by an all-pink prince in a candy-styled throne room. "Gum Gary!" Fionna called out. It then showed someone similar to Marshal Lee floating in the night sky and change into a monstrous form of a bat. "Marshal's a vampire!" Fionna exclaimed as it showed the three of us hope on that version of Marshal's back and flew into the night sky.
Then it showed Y/n sitting in a bar, with the bug person from her dreams, and a green version of Prismo, clinking champagne glasses together, obviously having a good time. "Wait a sec, you and him are Preston and Scanlon?!" I shouted in shock. I then remembered one of the scenes we were showed, the romance part, and that made my face explode in bright red blush at realization.
"Wow, we look so happy." Cake muttered, her slit eyes slightly widened and glistened. "I knew my life was supposed to be magic." Fionna muttered as the same thing happened to her eyes. "Oh, my god... I-... Him-..." I stammered, my blush getting worse. "Fionna, Y/n, and Cake was real this whole time?" Simon asked, shocked. He crushed the empty soda can against his head, tossed it to the side, took another one out of the jacuzzi, and started drinking that one, done with life at this point.
"Pretty tight, right?" Prismo quired in a happy tone. "Yeah... So, why'd you change it?" Fionna asked, turning around to face the pink shadow. "Yeah, our world doesn't look like that at all. Everything's boring as hell! And Y/n is still a lonely single-pringle; experiencing romantic tension!" Cake stated. I snapped out of my flustered gaze, looking down at her like I'd just caught her ready my diary. "CAKE! Don't expose me like that!" I shouted, my blushing only being apparent on my cheeks. "What? It's true, and everyone is getting tired of it!" She shouted back, making me sigh in exhaustion. "I'm starting to wish you were back to a normal cat; one that doesn't talk." I muttered, my top row of hands rubbing my temples as my bottom ones were on my hips.
"Hmm..." Prismo hummed, looking at Simon. "Oh, I think I know what happened. No wonder you guys looked so terrible when you first got here." He said. "Oh, sorry! Didn't know you were the animation police." I sarcastically said with an eye roll.
"Missed your sarcasm. Okay, so, technically, I'm not supposed to make stuff for myself, and make sure that nothing happens to Y/n's soul, so I kinda had to hide your universe. I found the emptiest, most cursed magical brain in all of Ooo." He said, pointing to the sad lump of flesh in the front of the room. "Him?" Fionna questioned, appalled. "Kinda." Prismo confirmed.
Prismo pressed a button on a remote, and the screen changed to a cave made of ice, and an old man with a big beard, light blue skin, a long, pointy nose, and wore a crown on top of his head while he slept. A laser appeared through his window and tried to reach him, but couldn't reach. "Ice King!" Simon called, his voice sounding echo-y. Ice King immediately woke up, sitting up, and the laser was directly on the center of his forehead. "Hey, Ice King, can I store a fan-made alternate universe in your cursed dome?" Prismo requested. "Sure, magic flashlight! You can put anything you want in there. 'Specially if it's got a hot lady." He agreed. "Cool. Hold still for upload." Prismo instructed as the laser moved to the Ice King's right eye, and steam started coming out from it, making me concerned that the fact that he wasn't in pain. "Whoa! Fire in the hole!" He exclaimed, still smiling before he started laughing when the upload was complete.
"You were like a big, nutty hard drive. And everything went great... until you got cured." Prismo said. Then the screen changes to this creepy, red room, the gems in the crown losing its bright color. "Simon! Your crown!" A lady with short, mahogany hair, glasses, a bandana wrapped on her head exclaimed. "What's happenin', lady?" Ice King asked as his body started to change, seemingly to be reverting backwards. "Don't panic, but I think GOLB is digesting us... breaking us apart layer by layer... down to our essential forms." She diagnosed as the same thing was happening to her.
Then it showed the normal version of Simon. "Betty?" He asked. "It's good to see you, Simon." She said, tears flooding her eyes. He walked forward, taking ahold on her hands. "It's good to be seen." He said. 'Oh, my goodness! I think I'm gonna cry; it's a lover's reunion' I thought as I felt the water works about to come out as I see the crown fall to the ground.
"Dang. From fun wizard to sad loser." Cake stated, once she was next to Simon. "Cake!" I exclaimed. "He wasn't fun. He was insane." Simon said, in an annoyed tone that was mixed with depression. "I dunno. He looked pretty happy to me." Fionna said, not seeing anything wrong in that moment on the screen.
"Without the curse of the magic crown, Simon's brain was no longer magical. So, your world must've lost its magic, too. And I've been locked out ever since." Prismo concluded as the screen turned dark before it showed this thing that looked similar to the statue we saw before. "Oh, Betty." I heard Simon mutter in a sad tone, making me give him a look of pity.
"So, all of this is really bad, but I think we're gonna be okay. As long as no one else knows." Prismo said, to which I give him a 'are you serious' look as he probably jinxed that. And I was proved right as a knocking sound echoed the room.
"Oh, no!" He said in a hushed tone. The lights turned back on. "Quick, down the stairs!" Prismo instructed, whispering. Me, my sister, and Cake looked around confused, seeing no stairs. "What stairs?" Fionna asked. "Oh! Shoot." He said before he reached over to a random part of the floor, and it opened up, revealing the stairs he talked about.
He then split into two. "I'll deal with whoever that is." The one on the right volunteered. "You guys follow me to the exit." The one on the left ordered. They both nodded at each other, and the one on the right dived down into the hole. 'Didn't he just-' I thought as i walked down the stairs, Fionna and Cake grabbing Simon and took him with us.
We heard the knocking again. "Just a minute!" The one in the room above exclaimed before the door to the stairs closed, leaving us in darkness.
3rd pov
Just as that happened, one of the doors to the outside opened, allowing the visitor in.
Prismo heard the familiar sound of the person who he dreaded seeing. Hopping that he was just hearing things, he turned his head, and he was wrong; he was here. "Scarab! Hey!" He said, feeling even more nervous. "Curious." Scarab started, hopping down from the opening, his cane that a certain someone gave him. "I always thought you had an open-door policy. Everybody's pal, Prismo." Scarab said, pointing his cane at the pink shadow. "Hey! That's me!" He said, trying to seem like nothing is wrong.
"Well, what brings you here, Scrabby?" Prismo asked. Scarab scoffed as he crossed his arms over his chest, looking away. "No one calls me that anymore, ever since she died." He muttered. He then spoke up, "I was just passing through the neighborhood, making a delivery to the Judgement Hall, when I got an alert... about you." He informed. Prismo gasped. "Me?" He asked, sounding exaggerated.
"Your Universal Breach Alarm went off twice and went ignored?" Scarab interrogated. "Oh. I just needed to change the batteries. Nothing for an important guy like you to worry about." Prismo informed; He was doing a terrible job at lying. "Yeah, everything in the time room is great." Prismo continued, glancing down at the God Auditor with a guilty smile, one that you would see on a child that took cookies out of the cookie jar without permission.
Scarab looked to the side, and walked over to where the stairs were. "Yeah, well, thanks for coming by. I know you're really busy, so..." Prismo said as Scarab tapped the closed opening with his cane. "Prismo, it almost seems like you're trying to get rid of me..." Scarab accused, still in a calm manner.
"What? No, no! I love it when you stop by. Let's bro out! We can party like we used to." Prismo suggested. "I was never invited to parties. My Starlight would be there with me when that happens." Scarab growled, reminiscing on the past. "Well, time to fix that." Prismo stated.
Y/n's pov
We walked down these stairs and into an area that looks like an Escher painting. "Ugh. We just want to go back to Ooo. Why are we hiding?" Fionna asked. "Remember when I said I wasn't supposed to create new realities for myself? It's actually a big deal and I could get in serious trouble for it. They guy who was at the door, that's the Scarab. He's a jerk god-auditor. And if he finds out about you, he's gonna report me. And then my boss is gonna drop the hammer! And who knows what Scarab will do when he finds out that Y/n's alive and has amnesia because of me!" Prismo explained, fear rising in his voice every time a word comes out of his mouth.
"Your boss? / I'm sorry, what?" Fionna questioned as I asked. Then Simon bumped into her, causing everyone, minus Prismo, to tumble down the stairs.
When we reached the top, the three of us laughed, except Simon. "It's okay, Fionna, walking on two legs is hard." Cake chuckled as she got up. "It's not my legs, it's this damn skirt." Fionna stated as she got up. "But you look good in one, sis." I said as I helped her up. "Weird. You never had any trouble with skirts in my stories." Prismo muttered when he finally reached down to where we were. He suddenly got an idea and changed Fionna's skirt into a pair of shorts.
3rd pov
"How about shorts, huh?" Prismo suggested. "What? What do you mean 'shorts'?" Scarab asked, leaning over the jacuzzi the other Prismo was in. "Uh, you know, mortals. I call them 'shorts' because they're smaller than us. And their lives are really short." Prismo quickly explained.
Y/n's pov
I looked at Prismo with a confused expression. "The hell are you talkin' about?" I asked out loud. "Having to conversations at the same time is hard." He explained as Fionna did some fighting poses.

Scarab raised his cane, nudging an empty soda can, and picked up a translator collar out of the hot tub. "Oh, that's mine." Prismo stated. Scarab spotted something on the collar and plucked it. "Is this cat hair yours, too?" He asked. "I don't recall..." Prismo dragged out, continuing to lie.
The Scarab placed the collar on the edge of the jacuzzi. "I'd like to take a look around the cube and see if there are any more... 'batteries' that need changing." He said, walking over to where the stairs would be, tapping the spot with his cane. "OH, yeah, of course." Prismo said, opening up the stairs, letting him walk down and followed behind.
Y/n's pov
"Uh, oh. We'll take a shortcut through the core." Prismo urged as we continued walking on. Prismo looked behind us to see that Simon was way behind. "Pick up the pace, Simon! You really don't want to be caught by this guy!" Prismo demanded. Simon just looked up at the Wishmaster with a glare. "I don't care. I mean, you show me all my messed-up past and expect me to just shrug it off like it's no big deal. 'Just move forward, Simon'. We'll maybe I don't want to move forward. Maybe I just want to sit right here." He ranted sitting down.
"I have to agree with Simon on this; it takes time to move on from a loved one's death. And plus, you haven't explained my whole situation. I mean, you mentioned that I have amnesia but didn't explain further, about who I actually am, what I am, etcetera, etcetera. Well, guess what, I'm gonna sit here until I get an explanation about my predicament." I stated, sitting next to Simon, crisscross applesauce and crossing my arms over my chest/stomach.
"Ugh, this guy. And of course you're still stubborn as ever." He muttered before causing the row of tiles we were sitting on to move forward like a conveyor belt, moving past my sister and, uh... cat sister? "Ooh, sweet!" Cake said before hopping on with Fionna just stepping on the row.
We then were approaching a glowing, white entrance, the sound of heavy, deep, ringing of grand bells that would be in churches. We entered the room just as another ring went off, causing various rainbow sparks to come off from above. Looking up, I see a silver sundial and a golden hourglass, both with arms and legs and hammers that are their respective colors. "Wow..." Fionna breathlessly said.
"It's... beautiful." I muttered just as the golden hourglass hit the silver sundial, causing the ringing to echo in the room and rainbow sparks upon contact. This caused Cake to jump in Fionna's arms with a fright. Then the silver sundial hit the golden hourglass with its hammer, and the same sound and sparks came off.
"What the heck are those things?" Fionna asked. "That's the Time Core; I don't think their actually alive... Maybe? They sent time waves throughout the multiverse that are experienced as the passage of time." Prismo explained just before the golden hourglass hit the silver sundial again. "I see you've said that word before, and I've pretended to understand but I have the education of a house cat. What's the multi-universe?" Cake asked.
"I'll show you." Prismo said, before a holoprojection came out from his forehead, showing on the wall. "Kinda looks like a bunch of brain cells." I pointed out. "This- *BANG* -is the multiverse. A huge web of all the different realities, elegantly connected like... an ant hill, a camp counselor relationship chart, or cells in the brain as you've said." Prismo explained. "Where's our world in this map?" Fionna asked. "Your universe is... unauthorized, so it's waaaaaaaaay over here." He said, scrolling through the holographic screen until it reached our world, which is all on it's lonesome just before another bang went off.
"Dang, it looks so lonely." Fionna said in a somber tone, looking down to the side. "Yep, because I kinda made your universe off the books; It can't really be a part of the multiverse. Just the fact that you exist could have totally unpredictable effects on the upcoming realities. You're like... free radicals." Prismo stated.
"Awesome/That sounds cool!" Fionna and Cake said at the same time. Prismo made the holoprojection disappear just before another bang went off and we left the room.
3rd pov
Just as Simon, Y/n, Fionna, Cake and Prismo left the room, other Prismo and Scarab entered the room on the ceiling as another bang went off. "So majestic, trillions of waves of time spreading across creation in a mighty gong." Scarab stated as another bang went off before sighing. "If only she was still here to see this." He muttered. "Heh, the colors give me a headache." Other Prismo commented before another bang went off.
Y/n's pov
We walked up some more stairs, exhausted, except for Prismo because he doesn't have to walk. "Prismo!" Cake called out. "Are we close?" Fionna asked before we finally reached a floor. "Just through this door." Prismo said, his transparent, pink body highlighting the said doorway before going through.
"Finally! We're going back adventuring!" Fionna cheered as we walked down the hallway. "I can't wait!" Cake exclaimed. "Ooh, this is gonna be so..." I said before stopping midway when we saw what was in front of his. "Huh???" Me, Fionna, and Cake unanimously said in confusion.
"Is the circle ready?" Prismo asked to another Prismo, who summoned a carpet, a book and a disc. "Just finished." The other one said before noticing us. "Oh, hey! What's up?" The other, other Prismo asked just as the Prismo that was our guide sat across from the other. "And the new battery?" Guide Prismo asked. "You already know." The other, other Prismo said before summoning to cables connected to an unconscious body that looks like the Prismo I know. "They're me."
The Prismo that was our guide chuckled, "Yeah, this is confusing."
"Prismo!" Fionna shouted out to as we walked forward. "Where's the exit?" She asked. "It's been cool hanging out, but you gotta go back now." Prismo said. "... What?!" Fionna and Cake exclaimed in surprise. "Simon, do the thing with the portal." Both Prismo's requested, putting their arms in different 90-degree angles and flipping them.
"No way. I am not going through that heartache again." Simon said, turning around and walked somewhere else in the room. "We're out too!" Fionna stated. Both her and Cake turned around and started walking back to the hallway.
"Stop!" Prismo ordered. "WE GO WHERE WE WANT!!!" Fionna and Cake yelled, running out of there, leaving me, Simon and the two Prismo's. I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose as Prismo's followed behind them

"FIONNA! CAKE!" Prismo's called out, but the two ignored him as they hopped down some 3D shapes. "Well, that's the last time I make an unauthorized universe." Prismo's muttered out loud. "Unauthorized universe?" A voice questioned. Prismo's looked to his left to see Scarab turn around to face him, holding a jar of pickles. Prismo's looked around, realizing that they're in his Artisanal Pickles room.
"... Crap..."
Fionna and Cake were running down a long hallway with multiple pictures of Prismo. "What do you think about the stuff he said? Is Y/n not really my sister? Are we not real people?" Fionna asked, panting. Cake was also panting before she gave a replied. "Heck yeah we're real! Y/n will always be your sister, blood or not. And so what if he made us? We're making our own selves from now on!" Cake stated, shapeshifting to make her form look wonky. "I always knew you were a smart cat." Fionna said. That's when Cake's form scrunched up, looking like a weird, deformed brain, causing Fionna to laugh.
Back with Prismo's, he was being backed up into a corner by Scarab. "Uh, come on, Scrabby, let's make a deal; I can get you anything you want! A new ride? Big dungball?" Prismo's bargained. Scarab didn't say anything except throwing a jar of pickles on the ground. "AH! Not my hot and spicy!" Prismo's cried. "You just handed me one of the only things I want." Scarab said, quite dramatically.
Prismo looked around, confused on what he means. "...My pickles-" "THE TIME ROOM!" Scarab shouted, interrupting the pink shadow. "I should have been Wishmaster, and I will be!" Scarab stated, the crystal part of his staff turning into a crystal blade. "All I have to do is turn in your rouge universe to prove you're unworthy." Scarab continued.
Prismo scoffed. "What am I worried about? You'll never find him." He confidently said. "It's hidden in a person?" Scarab quired, making Prismo realize his mistake. "Crap. Crap!" He exclaimed as Scarab walked closer to him. "He's here, isn't he?" Scarab asked, holding the crystal blade to his throat.
"No." Prismo said. He looked to the side and closed the way out of the room they're in and all the others. Scarab glared down at him when he saw this, and Prismo only gave him a nervous smile before he disappeared.
Y/n's pov
I was plucking the strings of an acoustic guitar as the Prismo's were drinking out of shadow beer bottles and Simon was drinking from those cans again. That's when the Prismo, that was supposed to be distracting this 'Scarab' person, appeared. "Hey, welcome back!" I greeted, looking up at him with a smile, stopping what I was doing. "I dunked up." He said, causing me to drop my smile. "Join the club." Said one of the other Prismo's before the other two faded into him before letting out a burp. I just went back to plucking the strings.
"So... you said something about this Scarab person figuring out that I'm alive and, apparently, have amnesia; what was my relationship with him?" I asked. "Well, uh... you two were dating. Every time you two were around each other, he looked like he would melt by your presence, which is why whenever he was upset, we hoped that you would be nearby to calm down and forget about tearing us a new one. You were the rock that kept him grounded, more relax, less stern about duties. But, when died, your soul was the only thing that was kept intact and was left in my care. Because of that, he grew angrier, a bigger stickler for the rules, isolated even.
It was only a minute when Fionna and Cake ran back in. "Adventure time!" They both yelled before realizing that they are back where they started. "What's up?" Prismo asked. "What the heck?! Did you just make us go through a big circle?" Fionna asked in an upset tone and she and Cake walked over to where we were. He chuckled before replying. "Okay, we're out of time. You need to get back inside his head now." Prismo stated. That's when one part of the wall started glowing before it exploded.
When the smoke cleared, it revealed a red, insect-like humanoid, having a skinny torso with wide shoulders and pointy hips and segmented jagged joints that appear to be part of an exoskeleton. His torso resembles a red suit and tie, and his featureless head seems to be evenly segmented, possibly wrapped like a mummy. His rhombus-shaped face plate is rigid and mask-like, sporting two adjustable black slits for eyes. He's also carrying a green cane with a blue crystal sitting atop of it. "Found you." The person said.
"Ah, the crossovers; Your evidence. You're getting egged, too." Scarab said, transforming his cane into a bigger crystal and opened it, causing Fionna and Cake feel uneasy and afraid. "And after that, into the incinerator with the rest of the trash." He continued.ย
"No!" I exclaimed, anger filling my voice. I ran in front of them, quickly making a bow and arrow with my webs, protecting them and keeping them out of his sight. "I don't know who you are, but what makes you think you can do that to my sister and, uh... cat sister while I'm still here!" I demanded, raising the bow at him, glaring into his eyes. He didn't say anything, and awkward silence filling the room. "You don't... know who I am?" He asked, almost sounding hurt.
"No, uh... am I supposed to?" I questioned. "...Oh, look! Random wall!" Prismo said, making a wall appear in front of the person. Prismo moved his shadowy body in front of the wall and the person behind started harshly banging against it. "Y/n, that was Scarab, dang it!" Prismo exclaimed. "Oh... oh, no..." I muttered, realizing my mistake. That's when a remote controller materialized in mid-air, landing in Fionna's hands. "Run! And keep running; This dude will hunt you like a polar bear!" Prismo stated. "Prismo..." Fionna muttered in a sad tone. "Hit the button and hold on tight to each other." He instructed as I held Cake's hand with one of my lower arms, and she took Fionna's hand.
She handed the remote to me as she reached her hand out to Simon. "...What's the point?" Simon questioned dismissively, looking down into his lap. Fionna let go of Cake's hand, walked over to Simon, kneeled down to his height, and gave him a slap to the face. "Ow!" He cried. "You dumb-dumb! If you don't help us, Simon, our entire world and everyone we know will die." Fionna stated, tears swelling up in her eyes, clenching her hand, that was used to slap him, to her chest. "Please... help us." Cake begged, putting her free hand on Fionna's shoulder.
"Go!" Prismo yelled urgently as cracks began to form on the wall. Fionna stood up, her hand shaking before Simon grabbed it, using it to help him up, glad that he's deciding to help. I let go of Cake's hand to move it to her head and turned to Prismo. "Um, I don't know if money will help with repairing the destruction that happened to your place, but it's the thought that counts, right?" I questioned, taking out my wallet to give him whatever physical dollars I had in there. I opened it up to reveal a photo of me, Preston and Scanlon, at least, that's what I thought they were named before all of this, before searching and trying to get a good grip on them.ย
"That's nice, old buddy. Actually, I think I might be able to-" Prismo groaned as a lime green glow seeped through the growing cracks before the wall fell apart, causing me to yelp and drop my wallet. "Oh, crap!" I squeaked, and before I could move to grab it off the ground we immediately teleported out of there.
ย I opened my eyes to see that we're surrounded by corn, and a weird-looking scarecrow. I can easily look over the field, but Simon and Fionna had to stand on their tippy-toes and Cake had to stretch her legs. "Are we back in the magic world?" Fionna asked in a happy tone. "No, this doesn't look like Ooo." Simon stated, causing Fionna and Cake to groan in defeat.
I went to where Fionna is to see her sitting down on the ground, arms resting on her knees with her head on top of them. I kneeled next to her, rubbing her back in reassurance as Cake came over, looking like a UFO. "What are we gonna do?!" Fionna asked, lifting her head up and tugged on the bunny ears of her hat. "That bug guy is still after us, and we can't take him on." She continued as Cake went around, knocking down a large sum of cornstalks like those alien sightings in old movies, only to transform back and hug Fionna.
"I used to be able to stop whole armies of jerks like that, but I'm useless now." Simon said once he came out of the corn. "Uh, yeah, we know." Cake stated. That's when she spotted the remote. "Ooh! Maybe this can get us back?" Cake suggested taking the remote out of Fionna's hand. "Yeah!" Fionna state before they both hummed in thought. "Let's just button mash it." Fionna suggested. "And that's my cue to take it away." I quickly said, shooting a web at the remote and yanked it out of Cake's grasp, standing up and raising it up in the air out of their reach.
"Thank you, Y/n. At least someone has common sense." Simon said before turning his attention to the two on the ground. "We don't know what channel number corresponds to Ooo; we could end up right back up to the Time Room where the Scarab will bite my head off!" Simon explained.
"Well, I could use a bite. I'm hungry, guys." Cake whined. "I sadly dropped my wallet in the Time Room before we came here, so we are also broke." I informed. "I'll check my new backpack." Fionna said, taking the backpack off and putting it in her lap, opening it up to search its contents. "Got anything in that big ol' moo-moo?" Cake asked, turning her head to Simon. "He's wearing a gown with no pockets, Cake. He wouldn't be able to have anything to carry." I deadpanned, sitting down cris-cross applesauce.
"Oh, I found something!" Fionna said, taking out some sandwiches. "Sandwiches!" Cake squealed, taking one and started eating away at it. Fionna handed one to me before she started munching. I took a bite out of the sandwich before spitting it out in disgust. All it was was two slices of bread, ham/turkey/roast beef/salami and lettuce. To see what was wrong, I took one part at a time. It wasn't the bread, and it wasn't the meat, which strangely taste more delectable than ever. But the lettuce, it tasted disgusting to me now, but I like lettuce. I guess that it's because I'm a spider monster now, that looks more like a black widow because of the dark grey, black and red color scheme I now bare, and they are only carnivores. How disappointing.
I took out whatever lettuce was left in my sandwich, dug a small hole and buried it, knowing that it would be good for the soil when it decomposes before I started to continue eating the sandwich.ย
"I know a way I can protect you from the Scarab, bring magic back to your world, and make it last forever." Simon started. He then looked up at the three of us.
"I need to become Ice King again."
