(A snow/heat day is when something happens to cancel school.)

I live in an area where we have snow days, so I was wondering...

Is there such a thing as heat days?

So I looked it up and found out, yes. There actually are.

Heat Days:
According to wikipedia there are heat days in the USA, Australia, and some areas of southern wales. A heat day happens when the temperature is 104 degrees Fahrenheit(40 degrees Celsius) or higher schools close. If you live in an unlisted area that has heat day, let me know(by country name) and I'll add it.

Snow Days:
There are snow days in the USA and possibly other places(tell me ones you know of by country name). A snow day happens when it gets so cold that ice freezes the roads and it makes it dangerous to drive. School is canceled for fear of a bus accident. (Personal experience): Which, of course, there was a day when there was a bus accident, and it obviously wasn't a snow day but it should have been.
