Chapter Seven
Elsa's POV
"Ok..." Jack agrees, "When I was 15 my mom, sister and I went to a log cabin and my sister and I went ice skating, she was about to fall in so I quickly switched our places and..." He trails off as his eyes glaze over, "-and I fell in." He finishes and a tear falls down his cheek, "I was frozen for two years then was unfrozen and my mother and sister were dead next to me but can't remember who by, these past two years I've been searching for who killed them and I'm not going to stop killing until I kill their killer." He explains and I write everything down. That was exactly what the notes on him already said.
"Jack I understand loosing your family is hard but by killing everyone involved doesn't make you any better than the killer." I tell him.
He nods, "yeah that's what I thought at first. When I went to the police they told me to go home and that they were on the case. A week later of being alone something in me snapped and I didn't care if I died, I was going to do anything I could to make the killer pay for what he did. People think I'd kill anyone but I wouldn't, only those involved." He explains. I can relate. I've been waiting years for my parents' killer to be caught and the police have nothing on them.
"How was that middle school teacher involved?" I ask. I mean out of all people a middle school teacher? Maybe Jack is lying about his story. Afterall nobody knows his real name..
"She was a bitch that told the killer about me, she taught me in middle school." He explains. Why would a teacher do that?
"You went to Burgess middle school?" I ask not recognising him. He's 19 so he's my age but I don't recognise him from my grade. Nobody I knew had blue eyes and white hair in middle school, not even highschool. Even his skin, it's too pale to match anyone's skin from school.
"Yeah, went to Burgess High too but obviously got kicked out once I started killing people." He says looking up and I nod.
"Of course." I say then note down what he said about going to BMS and BHS with a question mark next to it saying he might be lying. I know for a fact nobody looked like him at school.
"So can you tell me about those years at school? I'm guessing those years were good ones right?" I ask with a smile and he chuckles.
"Wouldn't say that." He smirks.
"What do you mean?" I ask him. Was he bullied?
"Well my dad was a drunk and abused me and my mom, the reason I was at that log cabin with my mom and sister was because we were trying to take our minds of that piece of shit I called my father. He got arrested a few weeks before that vacation when he put me in a coma and I would kill him but somebody already beat me to it, the killer who killed my mom and sister." Jack says looking around the room.
"Jack I know you might not believe me but I am really sorry for what has happened to you, nobody deserves to loose their family." I say sympathetically and he looks at me and sits up with a look on his face saying he's figured me out.
"You're an orphan too aren't you?" He says. He has figured me out..
I shake my head, "N-No, no I'm not." I say trying to hide my personal life but he sees right through me.
"You are." He says looking at me, "What happened to you?" He asks. I can't tell him anything about my life because if he finds out I have a sister he will kill her.
"We're here to discuss you, not me." I say then look at the time, "It's been an hour now, my time with you is up." I say and he looks at me then at the clock and shakes his head.
"You can't put me back with them, they'll hurt me!" He yells as I walk to towards the door and open it, "Elsa listen! please!" He begs as the guards come in. That was to close. Jack Frost nearly got into my head when it's meant to be the other way around.
Jack tries to get away from the guards but the run up to him and grab him. Jack starts to struggle to try and escape and he looks at me with a look of fear and I turn around unable to look at how they're treating him and close the door and start to type up what Jack said into the computer.
