zayn's pov
Carlos pulled up at the SH very smoothly. Then soon the gates began to close right behind the vehicle. I adjusted my tie in the rear view mirror in front of me. Making sure I look presentable and not nervous. I thought about what I was gonna say before I came here, but now it seems like my mind has gone completely blank. My hands were starting to become sweaty, and that made me even more nervous. It was odd because I don't get like this. Something about tonight has my nerves jumping off the walls.
"Do you want to come in Carlos?" I ask the Pilipino man behind the wheel.
"No, I'm good," Carlos declined.
"You sure?" I ask him curiously. "They're like family. Believe me, they are all really nice people.
"I'm good boss," Carlos told me again, emphasizing his words even harder.
"Carlos," I say his name. "Is there something you want to tell me?"
"Please don't make me go in there," he sputtered out quickly looking at me through the rear view mirror.
"Why?" I frown, something must have been going on with this man and I bound to find out.
Carlos begins to sigh deeply, running his fingers through his black hair, "I don't want to explain," he grumbles.
I sigh as well, "Fine, we'll talk about this later Los," I say patting his shoulder before I got out the car.
Whatever is going on with him I'll just have to figure out later, but right now I have to focus on what's important. I knocked on the door of the SH and was greeted by one of the members Vance.
"Hey Z," Vance welcomed me in and closed the door behind me. "What brings you here? You're looking pretty sharp."
"Thanks, I'm here for Mori," I say adjusting my tie for the billionth time it seemed.
"Ooh?" Vance quirked an eyebrow at me. "Are you two going out on a date?"
"No, I'm just taking her out," I tell him with a chuckle.
"On a date, right?" Vance questioned.
I sigh rubbing my face, "Vance, I swear you are bound to get on my nerves tonight."
"Hey?" He shrugs laughing. "That's what everybody tells me.
"Vance, give that man a break, okay?" That sexy voice echoed in the hallway along with the sound of heels clicking against the marble floor.
She came down the hallway like she was a damn model. Mori was beautiful, and there is no way that I could deny how gorgeous she looked. The long dark blue dress on her body made her dark eyes twinkle and made her frame even curvier. Her hair was curly and her smile was very bright. My eyes skimmed up and down as my tongue swiped over my bottom lip. I'm sorry, I just couldn't keep my eyes to myself.
"You look handsome Malik," she smiled softly, placing a hand on my chest and kissing my cheek politely.
"And you look beyond gorgeous Mori," I tell her as smoothly as possible, hoping that she didn't hear my voice crack.
"Yep..this is where I leave," Vance nodded his head and scurried out of the hallway. We both laughed a little bit and waved goodbye to Vance who awkwardly left the situation.
"Thank you for talking to Harry about easing up on me," Mori spoke softly looking at me. "But I think he's still mad at me though."
"He'll come around sooner or later, don't worry about it too much," I assure her. "Everything will be okay."
"Now..where are we going exactly?" She asked raising an eyebrow at me. "All Harry told me was that I was off the hook and to get dressed. But he didn't tell me where you were taking me."
"I'll tell you later," I whisper to her before raising my arm up, she looked at it hesitantly but then linked her arm along with mine. "This isn't a date by the way."
"Whatever," she scoffs.
We walked out of the SH together. As a gentleman I helped her in the car and got in afterwards. Carlos started up the car and headed towards the location.
As the car started to go down the highway I decided to speak up since neither of us has spoken yet, "Listen, the reason why I talked to Harry about letting you off of house arrest is because—,"
"Ug stop, don't say house arrest," she whines shaking her head. "That was the longest two weeks without me leaving the house everyday."
"Well that's what he said that you were on," I shrug.
"Whatever," she grumbles looking away from me. "Continue on."
"Anyway, Pizo is making a deal tonight at the Lisen Museum downtown," I tell her, and the name of Pizo had her looking at me again. "I don't know what the deal is about, but I know that he's going to be there tonight before he takes off to leave the country."
She looks at me as if she was shocked of what I have told her, "We're going after Pizo? After what happened before? Are you fucking crazy Z?"
"You have to trust me Mori," I tell her seriously. "He won't slip out of our hands this time."
She breathed deeply, giving me an unsure look, "Are you positive about this?"
I nodded my head in confirmation, "Listen, I can kill Pizo by myself if I wanted to, okay? I just wanted you to be here with me so we can kill this motherfucker together. We almost got him the first time..and I'm pretty sure that we can him now. I know you want to do this just as much as I want to."
After a while she nodded her head, agreeing to my plea, "Okay Z, I'm in."
"Good," I smile at her. "Now here, strap up so we can kill this fucking bastard."
Just before we arrived at the museum we got ready.
"I'll be here boss if anything happens," Carlos told me. "Playing games on my phone like the usual."
"I like you Carlos," Mori giggled.
"Thanks gorgeous," Carlos winked.
"Alright, come on," I roll my eyes at the both of them before getting out the car.
We entered the large and decorated museum with our arms linked with each other's. I nodded politely at some people while Mori smiled at them softly. My eyes were looking one way while hers were looking the other. It was eight pm on the dot. Pizo was in here somewhere, and we're gonna find him.
"It's funny how all of these people have no clue what may happen with us being in here," she says to me with a soft voice.
"Not drawing attention to ourselves will keep our profiles hidden," I remind her with a sweet hum.
"Not with your gun showing it won't," she snickered quietly.
I laugh lightly along with her, but deep down I was quite shocked and nervous, "What are you taking about?"
"You didn't tuck your gun in all the way genius," she whispered looking around.
"It's fine," I then tell her.
"No, it isn't," Mori wrapped her arms around the side of my body as she pretended to look at the painting in front of us. As smoothly as possible she went inside my jacket and tucked my gun further into my waistband. Slowly she allowed her hand to move across my belt before it came to her side. "See, much better now."
This woman was really dangerous.
"Let's move around," I whisper in her ear, my hand settling on her back. "This place is huge, we gotta start looking."
"Sure thing," Mori agreed as we began to walk somewhere else.
We kept looking around, being sure not to stare for too long. There were so many faces in this place. But we kept our eyes wide open for anything.
"Watch your hand Malik," Mori grumbled lowly as my hand settled on the middle of her back. And it must have fell a little south by accident.
"What was that honey?" I chirp looking at her, noticing the way she bit her bottom lip sexily. God, she was alluring.
She chuckled shaking her head, "I have a pocket knife in my bra. And I won't hesitate to pull it out to cut you up."
"Oh, I wanna see," I tease her with a smug smirk.
"Men," she mumbles rolling her eyes at me.
I pinched her bottom quickly which made her squeal a little, "What was that?"
"Nothing honey," she cheesed before nudging my side with her elbow.
After a while of walking Mori grabbed my hand and squeezed it three times. That was the nonverbal signal that Pizo was around. And he was to my left.
"We're splitting up," Mori causally whispered into my ear as she kissed my cheek and walked away from me so she could watch Pizo from afar.
I adjust the watch on my wrist, staying calm as ever. When I looked over to my left I saw Pizo talking to about five men. Laughing and smiling, he had no idea that he was being watched.
"You got anything handsome?" Mori spoke in the ear piece.
I smiled at the nickname, crossing my arms over my chest as I moved closer to their group, "That's what I'm working on darlin'."
Crazy enough, I was extremely close to Pizo. My back was just turned. Since it was a crowded area there was a lot of people around them, so it wasn't bothering them on how close I was. But the crazy thing is, I had to not show my face no matter what happened.
"The car is pulled out back," Pizo spoke. "I'm sure you would like what's in it."
With that, I moved far as possible from the group as I could. In the earpiece I reached back to Mori, "Meet me at the back of the building right now."
"Got it," she responded back before she went out.
I headed out the front door of the museum casually. Making a sharp turn, I jogged down the side of the building. And on cue, there was that black Mustang parked along with Pizo and some men walking out from the museum.
"Seventy-five hundred thousand dollars just for you," Pizo smiled as he pulled out a thick briefcase out the Mustang.
"Ah, how beautiful," smiled the blonde haired man who clasped his hands together.
The conversation went on and went on about how the blonde haired man was happy about Pizo helping him out with his business. His name was Markus, and that's when I realized that he is the owner of the Markus' Hotel in the city. He talked about building his hotels around the state in hopes of making his new business grow. It all made sense now. They kept on talking and laughing. Markus obviously was happy about the money because that smile did not drop one bit. And then, something unexpected happened all of a sudden.
One of Pizo's men shot Markus right in the head, then twice in the chest after he began to fall down. The atmosphere then changed drastically. And that's when we had to move in before Pizo took the money and dipped.
I leaned my back against the wall and spoke into my earpiece, "Mori," I whisper.
"You saw what I saw too, right?" She whispered back.
"Yeah, let's take that fucker down," I tell her seriously.
"Right behind you," she replied.
I took my gun out and cocked it back. Quickly as possible, I starting shooting the man who was armed and then Mori came out from her hiding spot to shoot the others. She even shot the driver who was going to drive out, along with whoever was in the passenger seat willing to run out. With a bullet to his head he was down. It was nothing but chaos, shots, and so much blood.
Pizo was on the ground covering his head while shaking with fear. I approached him and hit him upside his head with my gun.
"You fucking prick," I spat. "I have been waiting to have my moment with you for a very long time."
"P-Please," he begged looking up at me with shaking hands. "I don't w-want any trouble."
I looked at Mori and we both starting chuckling at the same time. Lifting up my gun I shot both of his legs, and as a result he screamed in pain. As much as I want to have my fun with him, I know that Mori has been itching to get her hands on him. So I gave her a look and she smirked evilly. Lord knows what this woman had in mind for this bastard.
"Take this you fucking piece of shit," Mori raised her gun and shot Pizo in the face multiple times before she stopped. And just like that he was finally dead.
I watched her bend down to pick up the suitcase of money from the ground. She turned around and gave me a coy smile.
"You want it?" I ask with an amuse laugh.
"No, that would just be selfish of me," she frowned adorably.
"Then what are you gonna do?" I ask watching as she slowly walked up to me, getting close.
"We're gonna split it between us handsome," she giggled placing her hand on my chest.
"Well..that sounds not too bad love," I smile at her. "You wanna head to my side of the city to celebrate?"
"As a date?" She asks wiggling her eyebrows at me. Man, she was so cute.
"Sure," I wrap my arm around her waist, and we begin walking towards the car. "Anything for a gorgeous woman like you."
