You sighed as you sat down next to your parents only wanting to go to your room and read. But alas you were forced to sit here and greet all of your future suitors. You grimace when they say so cliche stuff "do I have to sit through this" you whispered. "Yes you do or I would choose one for you" your father replied. You huffed "all of them are either gross or stuck i'll never pick on of them" you said.

"You need to stop with that attitude or I will choose who you marry" you father said, you rolled your eyes "do you really want to go there father, I bet the people or mother would like what you have been doing with their taxes now would they" you said looking your father in the eye. Your father cleared his throat and didn't say anything else "that's what I thought" you said and crossed your arms.

When the next suitor was about to make his way up guards burst through the door. "Your highness we have found the dragon" everyone in the room gasped except for you. "Bring him here" your father stated "(m/n), (y/n) leave i'll handle this" he said you scoff "yeah and that goes well i'm gonna stay right here and make sure you don't bring us to war with him and his friends".

The guards came in dragging the dragon in chains, you can see the dragon struggle in the chains. He was brought at the bottom of the steps near your chairs. "LET ME GO" you were surprised because usually dragons don't speak. He stopped struggling and looked up, you gave a little gasp his eyes were a beautiful purple, his hair brown, light skin, and he had big dragon wings with a perfect mixture of black and purple.

"What is your name" your father demanded, the dragon man glared at him "I won't' tell you nothing you disgrace of a king" he spat out. Your father glared at the man, your father got up and was about to hit him. Before your father's hand could strike him you grabbed his arm "what are you doing (y/n)" he was angry "father let's be reasonable what if he has friends they would be looking for him and if he's hurt imagine the pain that could be brought down on our innocent people, I mean we wouldn't want anymore of that now would we" you said.

Your father huffed and went to take a seat on his throne, you turn to the man chained up "what's your name" you asked softly cupping his cheek. "Enderlox" he whispered looking into your (e/c) eyes you smiled "your not hurt are you" you asked "not much but they drugged me" he said. You frowned "why were they after you?" you asked "it was your father's orders".

You took a deep breath and slowly released it "release him" you said to the guard. "But princess-" you held your hand up "clearly my father is the most incompetent man to ever walk this earth, I actually want a home to live in let him go '' you said. (Y/n) that is not your decision to make" your father said, you turn to your father "are those really the words you decided to let slip from your mouth?" you said.

"If this was really for that stupid bet with the neighboring king then your more stupid than I thought you were father because you rather win a bet than think about your kingdom which is about to be corrupt, if you really need more money father then why don't you actually be a good king for the people than be a complete asshole" you raved. You took a deep breath and turned to the guards "I won't repeat myself".

They quickly do as you say and release Enderlox of his chains, he stretched out his wings and stood. "You can thank your princess that I won't kill you all and burn this kingdom to the ground but I can forget this all if I get something" Enderlox stated. "And what would that be" your father asked, Enderlox turned to look at you "her". Gasps echo through the hall, you were surprised but couldn't help but blush.

Your father stood up "ABSOLUTELY NOT" all the guards had their weapons raised. Enderlox darkly chuckled "well that's what I want and if you try to marry her off I will kill every suitor you have to offer" he said. "Perhaps I won't get her now but think about it or I will bring my friends to burn this kingdom down i'll be back" with that he spread his wings and flew through the window. "Pssh he couldn't kill any suitor (y/n) you are to marry the man of my choice this coming Saturday". You were about to protest "don't argue (y/n) I made my decision" you huffed and went to your room. 'How will this play out?' you thought.

~Monday~

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE'S BEEN KILLED" your father yelled, you, your mother and father were eating breakfast. "I'm sorry sir that's the news that had come from the princes kingdom" the messenger bowed and left leaving a letter on the table that was addressed to your father.

Your father read the letter and crumpled it in anger "that damned dragon" he muttered. "Only if you abided by his wishes" you said "so you rather be with that monster". You stood up "he's better than any of the crappy people you want me to marry" with that you leave.

~Tuesday~

"ANOTHER SUITOR DEAD" your father raged "just let me go with him father it would make less people die and the kingdom won't suffer" you said while reading your book. "When hell freezes over".

~Wednesday~

"DAMMIT" your father yelled it can be heard throughout the castle, you sighed and shook your head and continued to walk through the garden.

~Thursday~

You sighed and shook your head when your fathers screams echo throughout the castle once again. You sit in the garden just looking at the sky, you hear the familiar sound of wings. You smile and turn to see Enderlox, you have been seeing him in secret this week. Your father never goes to the garden and no guards patrol here unless you allow it.

"Hey" you said he smiled "hey" he replied you both have been having a good time talking together.

~Friday~

Your father had his head on the table, the stress has gotten to him no one wanted to marry you when word had gotten out. "So father are you finally done?" you asked "yes" he said and picked his head up. "But if he's gonna take you he has to marry you" your father got up and left to destress. You smiled and ran to the garden and waited for Enderlox to tell the good news.

~Saturday~

Word from the guards that Enderlox has been spotted and was on his way to the castle. The doors opened and there stood Enderlox but he wasn't alone. "So King (F/n) have you made your decision" he asked and glanced at you. "Yes, you can have my daughter but on the condition you marry her today".

The room had become silent and tense "that can be arranged" he replied. "I want to say something" you said gaining everyone's attention "I want it to be outside". Your father sighed "of course" after that statement everyone was rushing maids had swept you away and you could see the butler take Enderlox and his friends to get them ready.

~Time Skip~

You took a deep breath Enderlox was already there with the guests and his friends. Your carriage was almost there you had grown a crush on Enderlox throughout this week you would have hoped to start out slow but oh well. The carriage stopped "we're here Princess" you rub the sweat from your hands onto your dress. "Are you ready (y/n)" your father asked "yeah" you whispered. The door opened and you took your father's hand and he helped you out. You looked around and saw the beautiful display.

It was simple just how you liked it, you look to where Enderlox stood you could see his eyes wide. His eyes scan your figure. You could see the hunger in his eyes like he wanted to rip it off you. Your father walked you down the aisle and the ceremony was over before you knew it.

The after party began and you got to talk to his friends. They were all nice people when you got to know them. You were whisked away by Enderlox to the makeshift dance floor and started to dance with you. "Having a good time?" you asked "yeah you're finally all mine I would have killed armies to get to you" his eyes glowed when he said 'killed' you chuckled "I know you would have".

"I hope this stops your killing streak thought" you said "I can try but no guarantee though". You chuckle and hug him while swaying to the music, the rest of the night was beautiful.

For the rest of your life you live happily with the man you came to love and have beautiful twins, both boys.
