Preston POV

I was bored just sitting on my throne of the lava kingdom i'm lonely i have to stay in the kingdom and do royal business. I bet you know now that every kingdom has a king and a queen and i have yet to find my queen i sighed. But i do have my eyes on this one girl she's the most beautiful lava mob i have ever seen. She has fiery red, orange and yellow hair, (e/c) reddish eyes, (s/c) skin i always see her out in the barn feeding animals and playing with the children. She's all i could ever wish for in a girl, my mom and dad keep on sending girls to me but, they're just gold diggers. 

I really wish she could be mine, but, i also wish i knew her name i want to meet her and thats what I'm gonna do. I got up from my throne and walked threw the halls as i pass by my servants they would bow. I made it to the back entrance of the kingdom and i started to walk to the barn, i got to my black horse "hey bud i miss you, do you wanna go for a run" i asked my horse Nightshade he nayed and i settled him up. I heard footsteps but, i ignored them and fed Nightshade an apple, i heard a gasp i turned to see the beauty i learned to love.

"U-um my king, w-what are you doing here" she asked i smiled "just gonna take my horse for a ride" i said. "Shouldn't you be doing royal things" she asked i sighed "yes but, i decided i needed a break and may i ask what is your name" i said looking into those (e/c) eyes. She looked away and blushed "(y-y/n) my king" she said looking down, i stood in front of her gently grabbed her chin and had her look into my eyes. "Please call me Preston" i said she smiled "i would but, the head maid would yell at me" she said looking down.

"Well if that happens i will make sure it won't happen again everyone should be treated with respect" i said she looked at me in pure adoration. "Would you like to ride with me" i asked she looked down "i don't know how to ride a horse" she said. "Then you'll have to ride with me" i said she looked like she was thinking about it "but, i have duties to attend to" she said "everyone needs a break once and awhile" i said holding my hand out for her to take. She stood there looking at my hand she slowly took my hand, i smiled are hands fit perfectly together she's the one i want, she's the one i need.

I helped her on my horse and i hoped on where i was behind her "uhh what are you doing" she asked i slid my arms under her's and grabbed to lead. "I'm gonna teach you how to ride a horse and i want to show you a little place that no one knows about, only me and now you" i said. I grabbed her hands and made her grab the lead and i put my hands on her's  i taught her how to go, turn and stop and run. I could tell she was having a lot of fun cause she was laughing her laugh is so, beautiful i started to lead us to my secret spot in the forest.

When we came to the clearing and she gasped it was filled with lilacs and a few different ones but, mostly lilacs there were birds chirping, bunnies hopping around it was beautiful. "This is so, beautiful why would you bring me here" she said i hopped off the horse she was trying so, i picked her up bridal style. Her arms around my neck i carried her in my arms we were just staring into each others eyes, i snapped out of my thoughts when Nightshade stomped his hove. I noticed i was still carrying her i put her down.

"Why would you bring me here you should have brought your girlfriend she would have loved it" she said "i don't have a girlfriend and i brought you here cause you caught my eye, you seem loving, caring and your beautiful" i said. She looked at me shocked "me.... i caught your eye.. how?" she said in disbelief "your different from the other girls i met all they want is money and power over people but, you...you care for others, you put people before yourself, you help people when they need it" i said.

"Wow no one has ever said that about me before and how am i beautiful all men call me ugly to the point where i believe them" she said rubbing her arm and looking at the flowers on the ground. I wrap my right arm around her waist and used my left hand to lift up her face to look into my eyes "they aren't real men if they call a girl ugly and your beautiful because you care about people, kids, and animals, your fiery red hair, your (e/c) reddish eyes i would want to get lost in everyday, your beautiful soft skin your beautiful inside and out".

She had tears in her eyes but, they weren't sad tears they were tears of joy "no one has ever said that to me before" she whispered. "Well I'm glad I'm the first" i said wiping her tears away "may i kiss you?" i asked she gave me a confused look. "Why would you ask to kiss me" she said "because its better to ask then have the one you love run away from you" i said. She gave me a shocked look when i said 'love' "y-you l-love me" she asked i nodded "once i saw you through my castle window i fell in love right then and there". 

She cupped my cheeks and pulled me down to her height and kissed me are lips molded together and they fit perfectly with hers. We pulled away breathless "so, (y/n) will you be my queen" i asked pressing my forehead against hers. She gave me the biggest smile that could light up the entire world "of course i would love to be your queen" she said . I wrapped both of my arms around her waist smashed my lips into her's and spun her around. I set her down "lets go back to our castle my queen" i said she smiled when i said 'our'. We rode back to the castle i took her to my room (don't you dare think that way pepplestone) i plopped down on my bed she curled into me soon i fell into a peaceful sleep knowing i finally have my queen.
