The Insane
Cold
Such a word cannot begin to describe what the raven felt inside. His heart was beyond cold. A heart so impure that even the demons of hell craved it. He knew it. However, the black haired man was afraid. Afraid to die? No.
Afraid to die alone.
In all honesty, the mere thought of death made the raven laugh. It was to die alone in this rigid abyss called life that scared the man.
All his life, he was told that he would never want anything, for money would be the resolve to everything.
Money.
He hated that word.
It's true, he had money. A lot of it actually. But it could never buy what his heart desired. All the raven wanted, was love.
Yes, even he, a cold hearted man, wanted love.
It's true, that for a time, he considered love to be a waste of time. Until a day came were he felt all those warm feelings at once. But all those feelings were shattered at once as well.
Such a tragedy, the raven thought while giving off a devilish smirk before giving a chilling laugh. A laugh that belonged to a mad man. Yes, many knew he had gone mad. "I'm perfectly sane! Come over here, let's have a nice chat!" he would yell to the doctors outside his cell. Small whimpers and small fearful gasps from the doctors would be his response. In return, he would give a loud laugh that that contained humour, venom, and death.
Psychiatrists from all over the world have tried to heal the raven. They did everything they could. Some even tried a lobotomy on him. In the end, the doctors were either frustrated or even afraid to be near the man. Many, in the end, had claimed that the raven was incurable, and so, he should be killed.
That's right, killed.
His last doctor made the mistake of telling the raven himself.
Sasuke was afraid. His eyes were full of fear. He trembled all over. He struggled in his straight jacket. He began shouting. "I'M NOT DYING ALONE," he repeatedly screamed.
The doctor looked at the raven in fear. The usually calm man seemed as though he were possessed by the devil himself. "S-someone get a tranquilizer," the doctor ordered. His order just fell upon deaf ears, for everyone was out for a lunch break. Sasuke continued to move within his straight jacket, the jacket closer to ripping apart with each movement the raven made.
The doctor was scared to death. He tried to run from Sasuke's cell, but the glass wall that prevented Sasuke from escaping was sealed shut. The doctor was trapped. He began to pound at the glass, shouting for help. His heart beat speeding up with every pound he gave to the glass. His knees were trembling, his eyes wide with fear. For what seemed like hours stuck in the cell once only four minutes. By then, many of the other inmates had caught on to what was happening. Many of them told the raven to break out of the jacket and kill the doctor. Others telling the doctor to go to hell.
Apart from that, the inmates started to punch the glass wall. They threw items to the wall. Pillows, mattresses, even going as far as to rip parts of the bed off to throw at the wall. Meanwhile, Sasuke had finally escaped from the jacket and jumped on the doctor. They both fell to ground, the doctor letting a shout escape his throat. The raven threw a fist to the doctors face.
He repeated the action many times. Even after the doctor went unconscious. Everything was chaotic. Inmates were already out of their cells, running around the asylum, running towards Sasuke's cell.
Cell 78
Everyone was chanting loudly; so loud that sounds could be heard from outside. By now, the security guards had come running into the chaotic scene. They restrained the mad humans, taking them to new cells that weren't damaged. While that happened, three security guards went running to cell 78 with a doctor that had a syringe.
A security guard struggled with the pad lock, finally getting the code in. Two of three guards ran to Sasuke, trying to make him let go of the doctor. The third guard was pulling at the unconscious doctor. The other doctor was struggling to inject Sasuke with the drug. Finally, sticking the needle into his leg, the raven started feeling tired. He let go of the unconscious doctor and fell onto his back, struggling to keep his eyes open. Eventually, he lost the battle for consciousness, and shut his eyes, his chest slowly moving with the even breathes he took.
While the security guards took the unconscious doctor away, the other doctor heaved the raven onto the bed. That was the last time Sasuke saw the light again.
After the incident, Sasuke had been moved to a different cell, deeper into the asylum. The room was even worse than the last one. There wasn't anything in there, not even a bed. Instead of a glass wall, there was a metal door. However, the worst thing about the room was the lack of light. The only time Sasuke saw light was when someone opened the door to feed him something. Other than that, it was only Sasuke.
However, one particular day, the raven felt as though he didn't need light anymore.
It was like any other day. A day full of thoughts and darkness. The raven sat there listening to the many voices in his head.
"WILL ALL OF YOU SHUT UP!"
"What did you just say, Uchiha," a threatening voice said.
"Nothing sir, just me and the voices," Sasuke replied with a calm, cheery voice, a slight hint of madness in the tone. The metal door suddenly opened, light coming into view. The raven was somehow happy to see the light, but instantly forgot about when he saw someone in the light.
It was as if the raven forgot how to breath. He saw a small figure dressed in neat pants and a doctor's coat. When he looked up, black eyes locked onto blue cerulean ones. A soft smile om the strangers face made the boy seem even more innocent than a new born baby. In full view, the hair is what made the raven almost smile.
The hair.
It was blond.
