Before Lalna knew it, the voice in his head screeched, causing his hands to cover his ears and his eyes to close. And he didn't realise that he was screaming too. The frequency increased as he feels his body being ripped apart.

When the pain stopped, he opened his eyes. He was sitting in the courtyard of his castle. He wasn't in the obsidian box. He was free again. A grin made it's way into his face as he walked into his castle. His blonde hair was getting long, falling I front of his eyes. He pushed it away to the side and saw a strand fall down... It was pure white. A beautiful, frosty white. He started to panic a little, as he put on his quantum suit, which covered his hair.

He opened the server chat, and directed it to Rythian.

Rythian-What do you want, Lalna?

Lividcoffee-Uh... By any chance do you have any blond hair dye? I mean, you have that strea-

Rythian-LALNA. I DO NOT USE DYE. I will never forgive you.

Lividcoffee-um... Sorry?

Rythian-... You idiot, Lalna. Always the same. I will believe that Reni inflicted my fury.

Then Rythian shut the conversation as Duncan scratched his head in confusion, and hurt.

"I guess I'm going to wear a helmet 24/7..."Duncan didn't want to cut it off because he felt like it was a bond. He wasn't going to be the one to cut it.

He suddenly remembered.

"Reni!"He cries out, in fear of what her body would look like now. But she was gone. Cloth and all. Duncan suspected she despawned, but how wrong he was.

By now, news of her death had passed through Yogsville, and those who met her mourned. Those who hadn't sat, confused. Her disappearance chipped away at people little by little. Especially a certain scientist.

At Sick Bay

Rythian was working on his usual Thaumic things, when Zoey come in, crying and carrying a body like figure.

"It's Reni!! I can't find a heartbeat!"She burst into heavy tears.

He lifted the cloth in shock as Rythian saw Reni's mangled body. Zoey looked sick and ran out of the compound. He placed his life stone on her as Rythian saw the bruises, cuts and burns fade... But her eyes didn't flutter open. Her wounds were gone, but she was long dead. He placed her in a stone coffin of sorts.

Reluctantly, he called Zoey and told her the harsh truth.

"No... It can't be! Reni!"She cried many tears for the girl that she barely knew.

"Zoey. We need to freeze her to keep her in a state... We need liquid nitrogen."

"How will we get that?"

"Leave it to me."Rythian held his hands in front of him as he condensed the nitrogen in the area, and Zoey left, she understood. Keeping it in a shape, he put the liquid on her, then sealed the stone lid to stop too much evaporation.

"Goodnight, Reni."Were his last words as the Mage left the sandy dunes, cloak flowing out behind him.

Xephos cursed in his head, the machine he was building was complicated. Very complicated. Suddenly, he heard an ear-piercing scream-it was Duncan. Xephos cursed, and flew up to the top of the factory. Alerted, he sped to the cage. Seeing Martyn nod grimly, he felt a churn in his stomach, and as he dreaded, Duncan was gone.

"That Fuck! How could he have gone?!"Martyn growled, as Xephos looked at him in surprise.

"Friend, you need to calm down... You're different. You were so happy, bubbly! Now you're seemingly stressed."Xephos put a hand on Martyn's shoulder.

"Ah-I'm sorry... I think... It was Toby's death."Martyn winced as Xephos gave him a pitiful look.

"I think need some time alone, Martyn."

The Sapling King simply nodded and descended the colossal factory.

Xephos looked at the unmoved obsidian.

"Duncan, what have you done, and how will it affect the world?"

"Do you truly believe that she is dead?"

"And most of all, how many people hate you, and how many love you?"

Lalna's life is a mess. He keeps doing things he doesn't mean. And all he ever wanted was to be happy... With her.

And now... He knows that deep down, he was the one that killed her.
