It was the first day for Poonam, she woke up early and got ready. She moved downstairs and came to the kitchen.

"mam.. Aap yahan?" one of the staff asked

"haa.. Aajse kitchen main sambhalungi aap sab baaki kaam kijiye" she said. The staff obeyed her and moved out.

Poonam prepared coffee for Vikram and tea for the elders.

She warmed the milk for Aarav. She places all the cups on a tray and moves out to the hall. Kavya and Nitin were already at the table, she gave them their tea.

"are bahu.. Aajse hi tum ye sab krne lag gayi" Kavya said

"chachiji ye toh mera farz hai.. Nashta bhi bana diya hai Maria laati hi hogi" Poonam spoke

Nitin smiles "bahut ache sanskar diye hai tumhare maa baap ne tumhe.." he praised her.

Poonam eyed at her bracelet, it's her mother who is with her always showing the path to follow.

They heard the noise from Aarav's room. Nitin sighed in disappointment "ye ladka naa.. Kitni baar kaha hai Vikram se ilaaj ke liye bhej de ise par nahi"

"aap jante hai na Vikram kitna pyaar karta hai usse.. Aur pata nahi kaise treat karenge waha use yahan hamare samne hai toh hum befikar toh hai" Kavya said

"Kavya lekin.. Uski wajah se kitne naukron ko chot lagti hai.. Naukri chodke chale gaye hai kitne" Nitin said

Kavya had tears in her eyes "kya kare ab? Hum bhi darr jaate hai uske gusse se.."

"Bahu tum zyada uske aas paas mat jaana.. Use pasand nahi hai Vikram ke alawa koi bhi usse baat kare" Nitin warned her.

Poonam went upstairs and stood at the entrance. Aarav was running around the room and Vikram was playing.

"pakdo bhai.." he said

"Aaru! Aise mat kar chal brush kar.." Vikram had his brush in his hand.

"nahi pehle wo gifts do aapne kaha tha na laaye ho aap" he said innocently

Vikram sighed "acha deta hun lekin phir tum brush karoge naha dhoke good boy ban jaoge"

He smiled and agreed. Vikram moves out of the room and Aarav follows him. Poonam had been behind the wall as Vikram had warned her he would turn aggressive toward her.

She follows the two, Vikram opens the suitcase and takes out the things he bought for Aarav.

His eyes lightened up seeing the new t-shirt and trousers. He held it and said "bhai aaj main ye pehenunga"

"pehen lena.. Aur ye video games tumne mangaye they na" he showed him the CDs.

"chalo khelte hai" he said instantly.

"pehle tum brush karoge ready hoge breakfast karoge phir hum khelenge" Vikram convinces him.

He nodded and Vikram forwarded his brush. He goes to his bathroom and brushes his teeth. Vikram gets to the bathroom and pours the water into the bucket.

"chal nahale.." he said and moved out.

Poonam was standing at the door, she walks inside and hands him coffee "ye lo thandi ho gayi tumhari coffee"

"roj hi hoti hai.."he replied and picked up the coffee mug.

He glanced at the glass of milk and smiled " isme tumne choco nahi daala hai.. Sar ghar pe utha lega.."

"oh mujhe pata nahi tha.. Abhi daalke laati hun" she said

"nahi rehenedo.. Tum pehle nasta karlo main usko karwa dunga" he replied and took the glass of milk from the tray.

Aarav comes out of the bathroom in the towel. Poonam turned away and Vikram eyed him. "hey bhagwaan ye ladka kitni baar samajhaya hai aise bahar nahi aate"

Poonam leaves the room and Vikram pulled Aarav "maine kaha tha na kitni baar... aise bahar nahi aate"

"wo new t-shirt aur trousers pehnna hai" he said innocently. Vikram picks them up and makes him wear them.

He wipes his hair with the towel and caressed his head lightly "chalo ab nashta karenge"

He runs downstairs and Vikram follows. Aarav was in the kitchen, he had picked up his chocolate powder box and waited for Vikram to come.

Vikram enters in a minute and warms the milk. Aarav asked "ye glass mei kisne kiya?" as everyday Vikram prepares milk for him.

Vikram said softly "meri nayi dost hai na unhone kiya"

Aarav gets angry hearing that, and he throws away "kyu kiya unhone? Ab main nahi peeyunga" he said stubbornly

"acha acha shant.. Main dusra karta hun" Vikram said and moved to the fridge. He takes out the container and pours the milk into the glass. He warms it into the microwave and brings it to Aarav

"lao choco do apna" he forwards his hand.

Aarav forwards it and Vikram mixes the chocolate powder into the milk. Aarav opens his mouth and Vikram makes him drink. He loves to have everything in Vikram's hand.

Poonam watched this and smiled seeing. No wonder he always got worried after receiving the phone call. She was now feeling guilty for forcing Vikram to have a choice.

She walked away and exhaled. Aarav came out and sat on his special chair. It has a small soft toy placed on top of it.

Vikram sits beside him and they have breakfast together.

"bhai ho gaya na.. Chalo khelte hai video game" he tapped his arm.

"Aaru.. Mujhe office jaana hai na shyam ko aake khelunga" he said.

Aarav makes a face "kattiii.. Aap aise hi Aaru ko ullu banate ho" he crosses his arms across his chest and turns to the other side.

"acha main jaldi aa jaunga" Vikram tries to convince him.

He turned to him and asked "pakka?"

"haan.."

"uss din ki tarah bahut dino ke liye to nahi jaoge?" he asked peering at him

"nahi jaunga" he promised him.

Aarav chuckled and let him go. He moves to the couch and turns on the television watching his favorite animated show.

Vikram held Poonam's hand and moves to the side.

"sorry Poonam.. Ye sab tum samajh nahi paa rahi ho lekin yahi wajah hai main shaadi nahi karna chahta tha tumhe waqt nahi de paaunga.. He.. !" he explained

She kept her finger on his lips "shhh.. I am sorry Vikram.. Iss innocent love ke liye maine tumpe kitna gussa kia.. Maine kaha tha na tumse tumhari zimmedari meri bhi hogi"

He sighed "tum samajh nahi rahi ho.. Abhi toh shant hai mere jaate hi shuru ho jayega iska" he said

"main sambhal lungi tum befikar hoke office jao" she assured him she will handle everything

"thik hai aur kuch bhi ho mujhe phone kar dena" he said in concern for her and his brother both.

Poonam nodded and Vikram left for the office.

Poonam received a call from her office, she picked it up "yea sir.. Thank you aapne mera transfer kar dia lekin main abhi apni married life enjoy karna chahti hun!"

"are you sure Poonam?" he asked

Poonam glanced at Aarav and smiled "yes sir.." and ended the call.

Aarav gets bored watching television. He goes and picks up the landline phone but couldn't remember Vikram's phone number.

Kavya comes and said "main milake dun?"

He glared at her "aap jao.." he shouts at her and Kavya sighed in disappointment.

Aarav takes time but remembers Vikram's number. He "9467467" but forgets the last two digits.

He gets annoyed and throws the receiver. He moves to the garden to play.

Poonam questioned Kavya about Aarav's favorite dishes and she informed her. Poonam prepares the lunch and calls the driver

"sahab ko khana de aao office mei aur ye hai chachaji ka" she said

The driver smiled and takes the lunchboxes to the office. Poonam messages Vikram that she is sending lunch and not to have anything in the office.

She comes to the hall and Aarav enters with muddy shoes.

"kya aarav baba phirse gande jhoothe le aaye aap" the servant said.

He gets angry hearing her and throws the ball on him. He moves to his room and Poonam follows him upstairs.

She placed the food plate on the bed and said "khana.."

Aarav eyed her and shouted "bhai.. Aap jaao yahan se" he pushes her out of the room and even throws the food plate on the floor.

A few servants came with another food plate and tried to convince him to have food.

"Aarav baba.. Khana khalo"

"nahi.. Bhai aayenge tab khaunga" he spoke and ran out of the room. Everyone began to look for him but couldn't find him.

Poonam saw the terrace door opened, she went upstairs and found him sitting on the top of the water tank.

Kavya also came and said "hey ram.. Ye phirse yahan chadh gaya.. Roj ka yahi hai iska gira gaya to musibat ho jayegi"

"Aaru niche utar" she shouted

"nahi pehle bhai aayenge phir main khana khaunga" he said stubbornly

"bahu jaldi se Vikram ko phone kar" Kavya said worriedly

Poonam takes out her phone and calls Vikram. He picked up the call "haa.."

"wo pani ki tanki ke upar chad gaya hai.." Poonam said tensely.

Aarav gets up and walks, and Poonam shouts "Aaru nahi gir jaoge"

He gave her an annoyed look and slipped on the water dripping out of the tank.
