Aarav reaches his friend's house. He rings the doorbell hurriedly, Siddharth opens the door and smiles seeing him "Aarav.. Tum yahan.."

Aarav enters the house, Siddharth asked "kya hua? Tum pareshan kyun ho?"

"Baat hi aisi hai Siddharth.. Main bhai se nahi kah sakta isliye tumse baat karne aa gaya" he said with tears in his eyes. He hugged him tightly while Siddharth caressed his head.

"Aaru.. kya hua?? Sab thik hai na??" he asked tensely.

Aarav parts the hug and takes a deep breath "haa.." he takes out the CD and hands it to him "ye na bahut zyada important hai Siddharth agar mujhe kuch ho gaya toh ye tum bhai ko de dena aur kehna mere hote hue unka koi kuch nahi bigad sakta.. "

Siddharth was confused "ye kya kah rahe ho tum??"

"Siddharth listen ye CD chacha chachi ke haath kisi bhi keemat pe nahi lagni chahiye sirf bhai ko dena tum ye.. Meri jaan se bhi zyada keemti hai ye samjhe" Aarav said with a hope.

"Thik hai Aarav.. Lekin tum.." Before he could question Aarav left the house. Aarav drives towards the office and calls the lawyer.

"Uncle.. Aarav bol raha hun.. Jee aap mujhe bata sakte hai Dad ne vasiyat mein kya likha tha?" he questioned

"Haan beta.. Offices toh Vikram ke naam hai aur ghar tumhare naam hai!" he told him.

"Thank you uncle.." he said and ended the call. Aarav now understands Nitin's plan, he wants to kill Vikram so that the office and other premises gets transferred to his name.

He called the manager in Pune, he picked up the phone after a while "yes Aarav Sir.."

"Tum abhi bhai ko phone karoge aur unse kaho emergency hai unhe Pune aana padega" Aarav said

"Sir.. lekin main jhooth kaise?" the manager hesitated.

"Ye mera order hai! Aarav Malhotra ka.." he shouted

"Jii Sir..." he agreed and ended the call.

Aarav sighed deeply. He parked the car and rushed into the office. Vikram had been speaking to someone on the call and it seems like it was the manager from the Pune branch. A smile appeared on his face and he thought "bhai Pune jayenge toh aaj chachaji kuch kar hi nahi payenge..."

Vikkam ends the call and Aarav walks to him. Aarav pretended to be unknown "kya hua bhai?" he asked

"chachi ki tabiyat kharab ho gayi hai aur udhar pune office mei issue hai..." Vikram said worriedly

"aap Pune jayie main ghar jaake dekhta hun chachi ko" Aarav said.

"nahi Aaru tu Pune jaa" Vikram suggested.

Aarav refused "bhai wo office ka kaam mujhse nahi hoga.."

"Tujhse nahi hoga toh kisse hoga haan?? Tujhe seekhna hai na sab" Vikram said

"Wo main seekh lunga bhai.. Aur chachi ka laadla toh main hun na main unhe sambhal lunga aap jao na" Aarav forces him to go to Pune.

"Acha thik hai! Main jaata hun tu dekh jaldi chachi ko jaake" Vikram said in concern.

Aarav sighed deeply seeing so much concern for Kavya on his face. Aarav thought "kaash aapko bata pata chacha chachi ne milke papa ko maara hai... aur ab aapko bhi..."

He hugged him and said, "I love you bhaii..."

Vikram ruffled his hair and Aarav said "I love you too chote..." Aarav notices Nitin's expression who had a mischievous smile on his face. Aarav cleverly takes out Vikram's car keys from his pocket and leaves for home.

Vikram attends an important meeting and walks out of the office. He comes to the parking but finds his car missing. "Meri car..." he sighed deeply "zaroor aaru leke gaya hoga purani aadat hai meri cheezein istemal karne ki"

The secretary comes and hands him Aarav's car keys "ye lijiye Sir.."

Vikram takes it and heads toward the airport. Nitin sees Vikram leaving in Aarav's car and his eyes become wide "ye Vikram ab nikla hai.. Wo bhi Aarav ki car mei.. Oh no.. matlab Aarav..."

He takes out his phone and is about to call his henchman but stops thinking something "nahi.. Aarav marega toh mujhe koi darr bhi nahi hoga.. Phir Vikram se office haasil karna muskil nahi hai" he laughed.

Vikram reaches the airport, his heartbeat rises suddenly. He stood in the queue and waited for the boarding. "Ye mujhe ajeeb kyun lag raha hai achanak se.." he wondered. 

The screen gets blanked, Vikram kept on looking at the screen "phir kya hua!!" he played again but there wasn't anything. He looked at her and asked "tum thi na waha? kuch  toh yaad hoga kya hua?" 

"haan main kuch der ke liye hosh mein aayi thi toh saamne mere Aaru tha.. isse pehle main use dekhti mere dost aa gaye aur mujhe hospital leke gaye! maine hospital mein bhi puch taach ki thi lekin main anjaan thi sabse toh kuch nahi pata chal paaya" she informed him. 

Vikram tends to think, he moves to the wardrobe and began to search for something. Poonam asked "kya dundh rahe ho?"

"Aaru ka phone Poonam! I am sure usme kuch hoga jisse yeh saabit hoga tumne uska accident nahi kia" he was confident. He managed to find the phone. He plugged it immediately but it wasn't getting switched on.

"Vikram calm down! Itne saal se band pada tha phone.. Wait karo thoda" she said as she saw him getting desperate.

"nahi kar sakta hun.." he denied and again tried to switch it on. Poonam took it from his hands and tries her way to switch it on. After a few attempt she gets succeeded.

He looked at her and she gave him a look "patience.. "

He takes the phone and began to scroll. He saw a voice message, he played it "zinda hai khatam karo ise" the tough voice was heard. He also heard his brother's scream at the end and the voice note ends. 

"ab sab samajh aa gaya! uss raat kya hua.." Vikram spoke looking at Poonam with teary eyes. 

Here, Aarav had been driving. He pressed the break but couldn't. He gets shocked and realizes their plan. His whole life appears in front of him, the moments he spent with his brother and a smile appears on his face as he could see his death approaching closer to him. A truck was approaching in front, he turned the car and saw Poonam's car close to him. He turns his car with full force to avoid an accident with Poonam's car and it hits the tree. The mirror breaks, giving him injury on his head.

Poonam's car gets banged with a pole and she gets hurt on her head. She falls unconscious, Aarav gets out of the car injured holding his head tightly. He walked a bit towards Poonam to help her as because of him her car crashed. However before he could reach her the same truck stopped in front of him and a few people coming out of it. Aarav's phone dropped and accidentally voice recorder got turned on. 

"zinda hai... khatam karo ise" the goon shouted.

Aarav fights with all of them with all the strength. One of them hit his head with a hockey stick, Aarav placed his hand behind his head and the blood started to ooze out. He lands on the road with a thud and looked in front.

Nitin had been standing with an evil smile on his face "Goodbye bhatije! Ghabrao nahi jald tumhare bhai ko bhi tumhare paas bhej dunga.." 

He passed a weak smile and closes his eyes "bhaiya..." he utters.

"ise car ke paas daalo aur aisa dikhna chahiye uss car se accident hua!" Nitin instructed the goons and left from there.

Poonam opens her eyes after some time, she sees a car in front of her, the door opened, and a person lying on the floor unconscious. Those goons had shown as if she had committed the accident. She had been left completely blanked, she moved a bit to help him out but her head spins badly. Her friends come over and get shocked seeing her condition.

"Poonam.."

She loses consciousness and her friends take her to the hospital.

Vikram calls Nitin and asked "chachaji chachi kaisi hai??"

"Thik hai beta.. Aarav pata nahi kyun nahi aaya ghar wo toh acha hua Maria aur uska husband Kavya ko hospital le aaye they" he said

Vikram was shocked "What?? Aaru ghar nahi pahucha"

He ends the call and dials Aarav's number but it was switched off. Vikram rushes out of the airport. He sits inside the car and headed towards home. He called his inspector friend Saahil and asked him to search for Aarav as he is missing.

After about 15 minutes he receives a call from Saahil "Vikram.. Aarav ke phone ki last location maine tumhe bheji hai.."

"Thanks.." Vikram said and headed towards the location. Within half an hour he reached the spot and the scenario in front of his eyes shocked him. He halts the car and rushes out instantly. His breathing stops for a second his dear brother lying in his own pool of blood on the road. He gets on his knees and turns his head, he checks his pulse rate which is quite low "Aaru.. Aaru" he patted his cheek.

Vikram lifts him up and places him into his car. His shirt turns red with tears brimming down his eyes. He was filled with mixed emotions, a fear of losing his brother along with a positive hope nothing would happen to him. He dozes off towards the nearby hospital.

Vikram kept on glancing at him every few seconds "Aaru.. kuch nahi hoga tujhe" he said holding his hand. However, he didn't get any response from him as his brother was unconscious.

Within 20 minutes he reaches the hospital, and he shouts "Stretcher"

The ward boy immediately gets the stretcher and Vikram helps them place him on it. He is taken to the operating theatre immediately. Vikram was breathing heavily, his brother was fighting for life and death inside. He remembered the hug and the last night's conversation he had with him.

"Nahi.. kuch nahi ho sakta tujhe Aaru.. aise thodi jaane dunga tujhe main" he thought.

Kavya and Nitin came to the hospital, they began to shed their crocodile tears. Vikram cries hugging Nitin "Chachaji Aaru.." he smeared his head with a smirk on his face "Kuch nahi hoga use.."

It has been two hours and finally, the operating theatre light gets off. The door opens and the doctor steps out of it. Vikram walks to him and asks curiously "Doc.. Aaru kaisa hai??"

"He is very critical Mr. Malhotra.. Dua kijiye use 24 ghanto mein hosh aa jaye warna.." he said seriously.

Vikram is taken aback by hearing him. The doctor leaves and Aarav is shifted to the ICU.

Whereas, the room beside the ICU Poonam had been getting the treatment. She sat up straight and looked at her friend "wo aadmi! tum log use bhi hospital laaye na?" she asked

"nahi Poonam hum bas tumhe leke aaye" she replied

Pooonam was shocked hearing her "what? are you mad? meri car se uska accident hua aur tum log use hi wahi marne ke liye chod aaye..." she scolded her friends.

"Poonam police case hota toh tera career shuru hone se pehle hi khatam ho jaata samjhi! waise bhi wo car meri thi toh fasta main.. ab please yeh sab bhool jaa" her friend said.

Poonam sighed in disappointment. She just prayed he was fine.

Vikram moved inside. A few drips were attached to his hands and an oxygen mask was also attached. He took baby steps toward him and recalled what the Doctor told him.

He sat down on the stool which was next to him, tears escaping down his eyes seeing his bother in this state. A few voices echo in his ears "bhai dekho aap shaadi karlo warna main na aapse kabhi baat nahi karunga"

"Bhai I love you.. Bas aap kabhi mujhe akela mat chodna"

'Main nahi jaane waaha samjhe aap! Itni jaldi aapka peecha nahi chutega mujhse"

He placed his hand on her head which was covered with the white bandage. He held his hand and placed a kiss on his palm. He then hides his face on the bed beside his hand and cries.

24 hours passed by and Vikram didn't move an inch from his place. He was losing his patience "kya hai ye Aaru?? Tu 24 ghante mujhse baat kare bina aise kaise soh raha hai haan?? Uth chal..." he complained.

Nitin and Kavya were present in the room. Nitin whispers in her ear "ab Aarav nahi bachega.. Tum pareshan mat ho"

"Jabtak ye marta nahi main pareshan rahungi.." she replied

Finally, Vikram's wait comes to an end. He notices a moment in Aarav's hand, his eyelids move and soon he begins to gain consciousness. Kavya and Nitin are shocked by this, a fear passes down their spine as Aarav is about to reveals the truth to him.

Aarav blinked his eyes a few times to get a clear vision in front of his eyes. The doctor entered inside and asked everyone to leave. They all moved out, Vikram glanced at him through the glass door.

Poonam was discharged and she walked to the reception. She enquired "kal koi accident case aaya?"

"nahi mam" the nurse denied. Poonam walks out of the hospital with guilt in her heart.

Here, Vikram's eyes became wide seeing Aarav's reaction. He opens the door and hears his voice "Injection nahi lagao haatho" he pushes away the nurse and the doctor.

"Aaru.." Vikram calls him softly.

Aarav looks at him and smiles a bit. Vikram hugs him tightly and caresses his head "Aaru.. tujhe hosh aa gaya.. Kaise hua ye accident haan? Kitni baar kaha hai tujhe mat chalaya kar itni tej car par tujhe sunni hi nahi hai meri..." he said in one breath.

He wasn't listening but looking at everyone. Vikram parts the hug and caresses his head "bol na.."

Aarav showed his hand and made a sad face "sui.. Dekho na kitna dard ho raha hai aaru ko.. Ye nikalo na.." he got tears in his eyes and began to cry like a kid.

Vikram was shocked listening to him. He was behaving like a 5-year-old kid. "Nikalo na.." he begin to remove it and the blood oozed out. He gets panicked "khoon.. Bhai khoon.. Aah.. aah.."

Vikram held his hand "Aaru.. kya ho gaya hai tujhe? Aise kyu behave kar raha hai tu haan?"

"Ghar jaana hai Aaru ko" he said stubbornly. The doctor said "Mr. Vikram please aap bahar jayie"

Vikram refuses to leave, The doctor tries to give an injection to Aarav but he screams "nahi nahi.. Injection nahi no..."

Vikram tries to calm him down, the doctor gives him a sedative, and soon Aarav falls asleep. Vikram was trying to digest whatever happened. He glanced at the doctor with a questionable look.

"Nurse take care of him.. Aap aayie Vikram mere saath" the doctor said

Vikram moves with him to his cabin. The doctor checks his brain reports and looked at Vikram in a serious tone "agar aap Aarav ko do ghante pehle laaye hote toh jo hua wo nahi hua Vikram.. Sukhar kijiye aapka bhai zinda hai itne bure accident ke baad"

"Aap kya kehna chahte hai doctor?" he asked though he got a hint about what had happened to his brother.

"Aap ye reports dekhiye.. Brain ya hissa kitna damage hua hai accident se.. I am sorry but is suffering from amnesia wo apne bachpan mei kho gaya hai" the doctor said

Vikram was taken aback hearing him "What??"

Doctor shook his head helplessly. Vikram asked in fear "kitna waqt lagega use thik hone mei?"

"kal.. padso ek mahina ek saal ya phir..." he paused

Vikram couldn't digest the truth. He wanted this to be his dream but it was the sad reality.

"It's a big responsibility now Vikram.. Achi baat yeh hai use tum yaad ho shayad accident se pehle wo tumhare baare mein soch raha tha.. Ab uska behavior aggresive hoga, zid, matlab jaise bache hote hai tum samajh rahe ho na?" doctor exclaimed.

"Ji.. doctor.." Vikram gets tears in his eyes. 

He got up and walked to the ICU. Kavya and Nitin smiles and had a sigh of relief as their secret is safe.

Vikram entered the room and saw Aarav playing with the sharp objects. The nurse was trying to take them back from him but he didn't give it to her.

"please de dijiye aapko lag jayegi" the nurse said politely.

"no.." he refused and pushed her away. Vikram sighed deeply, he walked to him and Aarav hugged him tightly.

"Aaru lag jayegi dedo wapas" he said

Aarav made a face "par ye kitna acha hai.. Aaru ko khelna hai na" he said innocently

"main aapko laake dunga isse acha chalo dedo wapas" Vikram again requested. Aarav throws them on the floor.

Tears slipped down from Vikram's eyes. Poonam was in disbelief, she kept her hand on Vikram's shoulder. 

"jaanbujhke usne mujhe uss din Pune bheja.." Vikram said.

He runs to Aarav's room and hugs him tightly.

Aarav was confused, he asked "aapko kisine danta? Aap roh kyun rahe ho?"

Vikram parts the hug and kisses all over his face. "aap aise sad kyu ho?" he asked

"Aaru.. tu.. Kyu kiya tune aisa? Mere hisse mein likhi maut tune apne sar kyu li?" he questioned

Aarav couldn't understand anything. Vikram wanted answers but he couldn't get any. Aarav wiped his tears "aapka kuch kho gaya?"

"haan mera bhai bahut door ho gaya hai mujhse" he replied

"star ban gaya?" he asked

Vikram denies it and hugs him again. Aarav places his hand on his back, though he didn't understand the reason for his breakdown but he knew he was upset. "Aap roh mat aapka bhai aa jayega" he said innocently
