Poonam's office

She brings Vikram and Aarav to her office. Aarav was scared as he saw so many people surrounded by them.

One of them walked to him and handed him a chocolate bar "yeh aapke liye.." he smiles and takes it from him.

"Aaru ye sab na mere dost hai..isliye isne darne ki zaroorat nahi hai" Poonam assured him they won't harm him.

He shook his head positively. She takes him to her cabin and made him sit on the chair. He sees the laptop and there was a picture of him and Vikram on the screen. He said "Dost.. photo"

Vikram noticed it and admired the picture. Aarav picks up the paperweight and begins to play with it. A few boys of his age entered the cabin and joined him. Firstly, he hesitated to be with them but slowly he begin to get comfortable with them.

Vikram gets tears in her eyes as these people don't treat him as a mental patient. Poonam wipes tear from his eyes with tip of her finger and said "Agar bure insaan hai toh ache insaan bhi hai Vikram iss duniya mein jo insaan ko sirf insaan samajhte hai.. Farak nahi karte"

Vikram smiles "haa.. Sahi kaha tumne! Siddharth ka kuch pata chala?" he asked

She nodded "isliye aaj tumhe yahan laayi hun chalo mere saath" she said. Vikram glanced at Aarav for a moment.

"Don't worry Vikram ye log iska khayal rakhenge aur hum bas conference room mei hai" Poonam said

Vikram seems to be satisfied. He walks with her to the conference room and finds Siddharth sitting there.

"Vikram bhaiya aap.." he got up from the chair in a state of shock.

Poonam crossed her arms across her chest "Mr. Siddharth Verma! Aap India nahi aana chahte they lekin paisa na bahut buri cheez hai har kisiko kheechke le hi aata hai so if you want me to deal with your father chup chap mere pati ke sawalo ka jawab doge"

Siddharth looks at him tensely. Vikram walks to him and asked "5 saal Siddharth.. Sabse ache dost they na tum mere bhai ke toh kyun accident ke baad ek phone tak nahi kiya tumne haan?"

"Bhaiya wo bas papa ko meri zaroorat thi toh mujhe US jaana pada" he tried to explain but it was clear he was making an excuse.

"Jhooth mat bolo Siddharth.. Kuch toh aisa hai jo tum jaante ho par main nahi" Vikram said looking at him keenly, he was trying to avoid his gaze.

"Bhaiya aisa kuch nahi hai.." he refuses and this deepened Vikram's doubt.

Vikram held his hand and pulled him out. He brings him to Poonam's cabin and said "Dekho idhar... dekho apne dost ki haalat"

Siddharth looked in the direction, Aarav was trying to control the car with the remote but was struggling with it. The other person taught him how to do it, he smiles lightly and began to enjoy.

Siddharth kept his hand on the glass window and gets emotional. "Pehle toh main yaad bhi tha ise par ab mujhe hi bhool baitha hai ye Siddharth... kahi aisa na ho main ise hamesha ke liye kho dun" Vikram said

Poonam glanced at him "Siddharth tum sache dost nahi ho Aaru ke.. Agar hote toh iss tarah chup nahi rehte.. Please get out of my office" she said angrily.

She was about to leave with Vikram but stops when Siddharth said "bhaiya... main batata hun sab"

A smile appears on Vikram's face. He instantly looks at him with hope.

Conference Room

Siddharth looks at him with teary eyes "Aarav ke accident se kuch der pehle hi wo mujhse mila tha bhaiya.. Bahut hi pareshan lag raha tha usne mujhe ek CD di aur kaha ki agar use kuch ho gaya toh wo main aapko dun" he revealed

Vikram eyed him curiously "kya tha uss CD mein tumne mujhe di kyun nahi?"

"Bhaiya.. Uska accident hua aur uski haalat dekhi thi maine bahut darr gaya tha main! Aapko CD dene aane waala tha main lekin inspector Saahil mere ghar aaye they unhone kaha agar maine iss case mein kuch bhi kiya toh wo mujhe fasa denge Aarav ke accident ke case mei... mujhe majboor hoke US jaana pada aapko bina sach bataye" he said

Vikram was stunned hearing him, he controlled his anger and asked "kaha hai CD?"

"Wo toh destroy ho gayi bhaiya lekin data maine apne laptop mei save kar rakha hai.. Main US jaate hi wo aapko bhej dunga" he promises.

"Nahi kar sakta tumpe bharosa Siddharth mai.. Kisipe bharosa nahi karunga ab! US phone karo apni maa behen baap kisiko bhi bolo mujhe wo abhi ke abhi chahiye" Vikram shouted.

Poonam rubbed his shoulder "Calm down Vikram.."

"No I won't! Wo inspector bhi mila hua tha.. Aur maine uski baat maanke tumhe ghar se nikal diya" he sighed deeply.

"Bhaiya bharosa kijiye main sach mein aapko dunga.. " Siddharth assured him.

Poonam glanced at him "Thik hai Siddharth.. Do din deti hun tumhe wo CD ka data Vikram ke haath mein hona chahiye warna.." she said in a threatening tone.

"Hoga bhabhi.. Main chalta hun" he assured and left from there.

Vikam looks at her and didn't question anything as he trust her more than himself.

Malhotra Mansion

Two days passed by, and Vikram finally receives the email he had been desperately waiting for. He sits down in front of the laptop anxiously. Poonam held his hand tightly giving him courage to see it.

He finally plays it...

"bhai jabtak aapko yeh CD milegi shayad main zinda nahi rahunga lekin aapke liye sach janna bahut zaroori hai.. Aur haan bhai meri icha aapko puri karni hai bhabhi laane ki mere jaane ke baad bhi.. " 

Vikram paused it after hearing it. Poonam kept her hand on his shoulder and he looked at her "Poonam main nahi dekh sakta"

"dekhna hoga Vikram! Sach hai isme wo sach jisse tum itne saalo se anjaan ho shayad yahi sach humhe rasta dikhaye chacha chachi ke zulmon ke anth ka" Poonam replied trying to motivate him.

He shook his head positively and played the video. 

Aarav had been working on something at home. He looked at the time it was 8pm and Vikram had not yet returned from office. He got tensed and worried, he calls him but phone was switched off.

Aarav calls office landline but none picked it up "bhai office mein nahi hai toh kaha gaye"

Kavya asked him "beta kya hua?"

"chachi bhai ab tak nahi laute hai main dekhke aata hun" he replied and rushes towards the main door.

He stopped when he saw him entering inside with manager. His eyes became wide seeing the white bandage around his left arm and on forehead.

Aarav walked to him and grabbed his other hand "bhai.. Aapko ye kya hua? Kaise lagi? Phone kyu band tha aapka? Kitna pareshan ho gaya tha main.. Batao bhi" he questioned in one breath not letting him speak anything.

"tu kuch bolne dega toh hi bataunga na main" Vikram replied.

Aarav sighed deeply, he takes him to the couch and made him sit on it. Maria gets the water and Aarav held the glass. He made him drink it with his own hand. A tear escaped down his eyes seeing him injured. Vikram noticed, he smiled a bit and tapped his cheek "kuch nahi hua mujhe choti si chot hai Aaru"

"pehle batao lagi kaise aapko?" he asked

"kuch nahi hai na.. " he said

Aarav shot a deadly glare at him,  he then rolled his eyes towards the manager "inhe pata hai main daant lagaunga.. Isliye bolenge nahi aap hi batayie mujhe"

Vikram signalled the manager in a no. Aarav was smarter "mishra ji inse darne ki zaroorat nahi hai.. Aap batayie"

"Sir wo construction site pe karte hue achanak hi pillar sir ki aur girne laga wo toh maine dekh liya aur unhe thoda push kia aise lag gayi" the manager revealed

Aarav got up and hugged the manager "thank you aapne mere bhai ki jaan bachayi main zindagi bhar aapka karzdar rahunga"

Vikram smiled seeing it. He parted the hug "Sir please aisa mat main chalta hun" the manager leaves.

Aarav turned and looked at his brother "reports?" he asked

"bag mein" he replied

Aarav took them out and read it.  He was satisfied reading it as there wasn't any major injury.

"bhai jabtak thik nhi hote ho office nahi jaoge.. Samjhe" he warns him

"lekin Aaru office mei bahut kaam hai.. Mere" he paused

"pata hai aapke bina kaam nhi hota hai main sambhal lunga kuch din!  Chachi mujhe ek ek pal ki khabar dena yeh hilla na apne bistar se" Aarav restored.

Vikram made a face " Aaru bada bhai hun tera aise tu nhi kr sakta"

"main kar sakta hun kisne kaha tha laparwahi karne ko! Aur behes nhi kro mujhse aap main nahi sunne waala hun" he argued.

Vikram smiled at his concern. Next few days Aarav managed the office in absence of his brother. When Vikram recovered he joined back.

Aarav had been checking a few records in the system, he then crossed checked the accounts report. He thought "yeh paisa company mein aaya hai lekin records mein hai kyun nahi?" he went to the accountant and  questioned him about the differences.

"nahi Aarav maine sab.." 

Aarav shot a deadly glare at him "junior post mein hun tumse lekin ye office mere bhai hai samjhe! chup chap batao mujhe ye jhol jhal hai ye.."

"Sir wo.. Nitin sir ke kehne pe hi main har mahine kuch investments ke amount unke account mein daal deta hun" he replied

Aarav was left shocked hearing him "aur tumhe laga chachaji sab reports sign karte hai toh bhai ko kuch pata hi nahi chalega hai na??"

He looked down "dusri naukri dundhna shuru kardo tum.. bhai tumhe bhale hi  maaf karde lekin main nahi karunga I can't bear people jo mere bhai ko dhoka de" he walked out 

He marched into Nitin's cabin and shouted "Chachaji... kya hai ye?? Accounts mei itna bada difference"

"Aarav mujhpe kyun chilla rahe ho? Accountant se jaake pucho" he said softly

"Band kijiye apna ye drama.. Usne kaha aapne use kaha tha ye sab karne ke liye.. Aap fraud kar rahe hai itne saal se bhai kitna trust karte hai aap par itni badi zimmedari di hai unhone aapko aur aap unhe hi dhoka de rahe ho" Aarav shouted at him

"Aarav don't shout at me.. Warna acha nahi hoga tumhare liye" he warned him

"Kya karenge aap haan? Main kuch bhi bardasht kar sakta hun lekin koi mere bhai ko dhoka de ya unhe hurt kare main bardasht nahi karunga chahe wo mera apna hi kyun na ho" Aarav said in stern tone.

"Aarav lihaaj bhool gaye ho badon choton ka haan?" He asked

"Mere bhai ne mujhe sach ke liye khada hona sikhaya hai samjhe aap.. Ab iss sabka hisab aapko bhai ko dena hoga" Aarav said and left the cabin.

Nitin gets furious hearing him.

Aarav returns home, he is extremely angry with Nitin. He saw Vikram busy on the phone with a business associate.

He hugged him from behind, Vikram was surprised at his sudden act. He ended the call and asked "Aaru kya hua? Aur kaha tha tu itni der se??"

"Bhai office ke kaam se hi gaya tha" he said with a smile on his face. Vikram notices some kind of sadness behind it.

"Tu thik hai?" he asked

Aarav smiles wider "haa bhai mujhe kya hoga chalyie dinner karte hai bahut bhook lagi hai mujhe" he said

"Chacha chachi ko toh aane de.. Sab saath mein karte hai na dinner" Vikram exclaimed.

"Thik hai main bulake laata hun unhe.. Maria Di... jaldi se khana lagayie..." he shouted.

Aarav walked toward Nitin and Kavya's room. The door was half open and he heard their conversation. He took out his phone and began to record it.

"Kavya.. Aarav ko sach pata chal gaya hai itne saalo se main jo office mein gadbad kar raha hun" he said fearly

"Ab kya karenge aap? Agar Vikram ko bata diya toh itne saal se jo hum plan kar rahe hai wo kaise kamyab hoga" she asked

"Kal hi humhe apne plan ko anjaam dena hoga.. Uss din uss manager ki wajah se bach gaya Vikram but ab nahi" Nitin said with a smirk on his face.

"Jaise bhaisab ka murder accident laga tha waise hi Vikram ka bhi..." Kavya spoke with a smile on her face.

"Aisa hi hoga tum chinta mat karo" He said

"Lekin Aarav?" Kavya questioned tensely.

"Vikram ke jaane ke baad toh wo waise hi toot jayega.. Phir kya hi bigad lega wo hamara sab kuch hamare haath mein hoga" Nitin said with an evil smirk on his face. Aarav's eyes became wide upon hearing his words.

Kavya glances at the door, and Aarav walks away from there. He couldn't believe his ear what he just heard. His uncle and aunty are planning to kill Vikram and take over everything.

He rushed to the bathroom and closes the door. Tears escaped down his eyes, the truth of his father's death had shaken him to the core.

Kavya and Nitin settled down while Maria served the food to everyone.

Vikram looked at them "Aap dono aaye lekin Aaru nahi aaya"

He shouts "Aaru"

Aarav hears his voice, he moves to the basin and washes his face. He takes a deep breath and composed himself. 

He comes to the dining table and sits in his place.

Kavya asked in a fake motherly tone "beta kaisa tha tumhara din?"

"Bahut acha tha chachi.. Chachaji toh mera aadhe se zyada kaam sambhal lete hai toh main befikar rehta hai hun aur ek ye mera bhai hai jise khuddari ki lat lagi hai.. Mera bhai hote hue bhi operational level se shuru kar raha hai" Vikram said glaring at him.

Aarav stared at Nitin. He thought "sirf aap dono ki wajah se hamare sarse pita ka saaya uth gaya hum anath ho gaye.. Bhai apni umar se pehle bade ho gaye aur main pyaar se liye tarsa.. Lekin main ab khudko anath nahi hone dunga... "

"bhai ab mujhe lagta hai mujhe bhi apni jagah le leni chahiye.. Kyun chachaji?" he asked with a smile on his face.

Nitin smiles falsely at him "haan bhatije..."

After the dinner, everyone moves to their respective room to sleep. However, Aarav has been placed up and down in his room thinking about whatever he heard. He thought "bhai ko bataya toh bahut hurt honge... unka toh dil hi toot jayega chacha chachi ka ye roop dekhke nahi main bhai ko ek kharoch tak nahi aane dunga.. Papa ko nahi bacha paaya main lekin bhai ke saath ye sab nahi hone dunga"

He walks to Vikram's room and lays down beside him hugging him. Vikram smeared his head and Aarav smiles "bhai.. Aapka Aaru ko kuch nahi hone dega mere hote hue koi chu bhi nahi sakta aapko maa papa ko kho chuka hun aapko nahi kho sakta.. Warna mera kya hoga?" he thought

Vikram opens his eyes and notices tears in his eyes "Aaru tu roh kyun raha hai kya hua?" he asked

Aarav wiped tears from his eyes and denied "nahi bhai.. Bas aise hi maa papa ki yaad aa gayi"

"Janta hun jab bhi aati hai toh tujhe raat ko meri yaad aati hai.. Jald le aaunga tere liye bhabhi jo maa ki tarah tera khayal rakhegi" Vikram spoke ruffling his hairs

"Wo toh aapko laani hi padegi bhai.. Mere baad aapka khayal rakhne ke liye bhi koi hona chahiye na" he said

Vikram glared at him "ye kya bakwaas hai Aaru... tere baad ka kya matlab hai haan? Kaha jaa raha hai tu?"

Aarav smiles "main kahin nahi jaa raha hun.."

"toh aisi baat kyun ki tune?" he asked

"bhai aise hi.. Lekin aap mere liye bhabhi zaroor laoge.. Chahe main rahun ya na rahun wo hongi toh mujhe aapki chinta nahi hogi" he said in soft tone. 

"ab tu thappad khayega mujhse.. Anab shanab baatein mat kiya kar kitni baar samjhaya hai. Bhabhi tu khud dhundhna" vikram replied

Aarav smiled a bit. 
Both the brothers sleep in each embrace.

The next morning, Vikram left for the office as he had an important meeting to attend. Aarav combines all the proof and places the CD on the cover.

He steps downstairs and Kavya calls him "beta.. Aaj shyam tumhare liye matar paneer banane waali hun main.. Jaldi aa jaana office se" 

"haan acha mere ek dost ki beti hai! tum jaise bhabhi chahte ho na wo ladki  waisi hi hai kaho toh baat karun?" Nitin asked with a smile on his face. 

Aarav gets angry and says "bas karo apna ye natak chacha chachi.. Sab sach janta hun main tumhara aur tumhare pati ka.. Jald bhai ko pata chal jayega" 

Nitin looked at him in a state of shock "Aarav  yeh kya badtameezi hai.." 

"badtameezi toh abhi maine ki hi nahi hai chachaji!" Aarav walks closer to him and stands only a few inches away from him. He looked straight into his eyes and warned him "jabtak lakshman hai ram pe koi aanch nahi aayegi samjhe aap! ek kharoch tak nahi aane dunga main apne bhai par mere liye wo bhagwaan se bhi badhkar hai aur ye bhakt apne bhagwaan pe aapka bura saaya nahi padhne dega!" 

Kavya gets tensed, she said "beta tum jo soch rahe ho aisa kuch nahi hai" 

Aarav rolled his eyes toward her "ab aap dono ka faisla bhaiya karenge!" 

Nitin laughed "faisla? saboot kya hai tumhare paas?" 

Aarav smirked "chachaji.. main bina saboot ke koi kaam nahi karta hun! aur mere bhai ko meri baat pe vishwas karne ke liye saboot ki zaroorat nahi hai.. bahut fayda uthaya hai aapne hamare apnepan ka.. aaj aakhiri din hai aapka iss ghar mei" he warned and left from there. 

Kavya gets tensed and Nitin calmed her down "Relax Kavya.. Aarav ke sach batane se pehle Vikram upar pahuch chuka hoga.." he assured her.
