It was the middle of the night, and Poonam was at the switchboard. She looks at the wires and wondered which belong to the bedroom of those creepy people. 

Maria comes with the tool and hands it to her. "bhabhi yeh?"

Poonam smiles "ab inhe pata chalega jab jhatke lagte hai toh kaisa lagta hai..  Tum jao"

Maria nodded and walked back inside the house. Poonam spoils the wire of the switch which was connected to their room.  A satisfied smile appears on her face "chale they Aaru ko jhatke dene ab inhe pata chalega jhatke lagte hai toh andar se kya kya hilta hai"

She goes back inside the house. She heads upstairs to her room.  She stops in front of the Aarav's room and finds Vikram sleeping beside him holding his hand tightly.  She admired the two and went to her room to sleep. 

The next morning, the daily hustle and bustle begins. Poonam had woken up early,  she was excited to hear the scream from the bedroom.

Here,  Kavya steps out of the bathroom after taking the bath. She plugs in the hairdryer and turns the button on. The electric current passes through her body and she screams aloud "aaaaahhhh"

Nitin's eyes became wide seeing his wife screaming her lungs out. Poonam enters the room and smiles  a bit seeing her in the state. She hides her smiles and shouts "chachaji kuch kijiye warna marr jayegi chachi"

Vikram rushes downstairs from his room hearing her loud sound. He also comes to the room. Nitin gets the wooden stick and removes her hand from the plug. She drops to the floor and Nitin shouts "doctor ko bulau"

"chachaji..  Doctor ko phone karenge pata nahi kabtak aa payenge aap leke jayie na hospital" Poonam suggests.

"Vikram madad karo" he said

Vikram was about to step forward but stopped when Poonam hit his hand a bit.

Nitin noticed it, he lifts his wife up and takes her to the hospital. Vikram stared at Poonam "yeh?"

Poonam smiles "zaroori tha unhe bhi ehsaas hoga tumne kya mehsus kiya.. Aur Aaru ne kitna dard saha! Aur abhi toh bas shuruwat hai Vikram... They will taste their own medicine"

She taps his cheek lightly "chalo tum breakfast karo" she held his hand and took him to the dining table. He sat down for breakfast while Poonam went to attend a few important phone calls. 

At the hospital, Kavya gets the treatment and opens her eyes.  Nitin looked at his wife and asked in concern "are you fine?" 

She shook her head positively, and for a moment she felt she lost her life "ek pal ke liye laga jaise main.." she said with fear.

"chalo ghar" Nitin replied. 

Nitin returns home with his wife. Kavya glared at Poonam "tumne mujhe maarne ki koshish ki Poonam! " she yelled at her.

Poonam gave her a look "maine kya kiya?"

"wire se ched chad" she shouted

"main aisa kyu karungi??" Poonam asked innocently

"kyuki maine raat Aarav ke kamre ke lamp ke wire ko.." she paused realizing what she was about to outburst.

Vikram wasn't surprised hearing her. He walked to her and yelled "khud jhatka laga toh itna tilmila uthi ho aap!  Sirf itne se jhatke se..  Mere bhai ko jaane aapne mental aslyum mein kitne jhatke dilwaye hai!!!"

Poonam also supports him "chachiji! Abhi toh yeh shuruwat hai ainda Aaru ke aas paas jaane ki koshish bhi mat karna warna aaj toh sirf jhatke diye hai kal aapko zeher bhi de sakti hun samjhi aap" she warns her. 

Kavya was about to speak but Nitin stopped her. He asks her to take a rest and leaves for office.

He thought "Poonam ke laut aane se Vikram ki himmat wapas laut aayi hai.. Itni muskil se sab kuch haasil kiya hai itni aasani se apne haath se nahi jaane dunga main"

Later at 11 am, Vikram was concerned as Aarav hadn't yet woken up. He moved to the bedroom and said "Poonam.. Tum wo.. Kaunse doctor ke leke gayi thi Aaru ko?"

Poonam places her laptop to the side and gets up from the bed. She said "Vikram wo bahut hi ache psychiatrist hai"

"Haa.. mujhe Aaru ko abhi leke jaana hai wo abhi behosh hai hosh mein aayega toh nahi jayega... humhe pata toh chale uski actual condition kya hai" he spoke in panic tone.

Poonam held his hand and said "Calm down Vikram.. Thik hai hum abhi use leke jaate hai main unhe phone karke appointment le leti hun"

"Nahi nahi appointment nahi abhi please" he requests her.

"Thik hai tum Aaru ko car tak leke chalo main aati hun" Poonam agrees and Vikram left from there.

He calls off the staff who helps him take Aarav downstairs. Kavya stared at them, She shouted "wahi ruko Vikram.."

Vikram ignored her and took Aarav out of the house. Poonam comes and eyes Kavya "Chachiji.. Hum Aaru ko doctor ke paas leke jaa rahe hai aur aap toh janti hai na Vikram ke gusse ko.. Bhagwan se dua kijiye use zyada takleef na ho warna main uske gusse se aap logo ko bacha nahi paungi" She smiled and left the house.

Kavya began to sweat, she immediately called her husband and informed him about their action.

Nitin smiles "pareshan mat ho Kavya.. Wo log jitni bhi koshish karle kuch thik nahi hoga" he said

"lekin.."

"Kavya kaha na maine waha se unhe umeed nahi nirasha hi milegi" he said with confidence.

City hospital

Vikram and Poonam were outside the consultant room, Vikram was anxious. Poonam held his hand tightly and caressed it.

The door opened and the nurse said "Doctor aapko bula rahe hai"

They got up from the bench and moved inside. The doctor attached the examination reports to the board and smiled "Mr and Mrs Malhotra please have a seat" he said

They sat down, and Vikram looked towards the glass door. Aarav was holding a soft toy in his hand and playing with it. He had a sigh of relief seeing him awake and calm.

Poonam asked "Doctor Dheer.. Aaru thik ho jayega na?"

"Ho sakta tha Poonam.. Par ab koi chance nahi hai uske thik hone ka" he said in a serious tone.

Vikram was shocked hearing him "kya?"

Dheer turned towards him "Mr. Vikram 2 saal pehle jab Poonam ise mere paas laayi thi tab uske recovery ke chance 95% they aur ab 1% bhi nahi hai.. Brain ke cells bahut zyada damage ho chuke hai uske bachpan se leke normal hone tak ki ek bhi memory use yaad nahi aayegi"

Vikram was taken back, tears escaping down his eyes "maltab? Mera Aaru mujhe kabhi nahi pehchan payega?"

Poonam stared at him "nahi please aisa mat kahiye..doctor use masoom Aarav hi bana dijiye.. Usse hi hum santusht ho jayenge" she said getting emotional.

"Mrs. Poonam.. Main aapko aur aapke pati ko jail mein bhej sakta hun use galat dawaiyan dene ke jurm mein aur zaroorat se zyada shock treatment deke permanent damage karne ke liye" the doctor scolded her

"Bhej hi dijiye doctor.. Lekin mujhe main zimmedar hun inn sabka.." Vikram shouts and leaves from there.

Poonam sighed in disappointment "doctor.. I am sorry main aapko sab explain karti hun" she told him everything and the doctor was stunned hearing her.

"I am glad aap use waha se wapas le aayi Poonam.. Main jhoothi umeed nahi dunga tumhe par haan hum therapy, pyaar aur medicines se use accident ke baad waale state mein laa sakte hai" he said

Poonam was pleased hearing that "aap batayie kya karna hai.. Jitna paisa lagega main dungi doctor bas wo mujhe aur Vikram ko pehchan le aur humse dare na.."

The doctor informed her of everything and prescribed the medicines. "Aur haan zor zabardasti se kuch bhi yaad dilane ki koshish mat karna Poonam warna he can lose his life.. Main surgery karke use thik kar sakta hun lekin sirf 20% chances hai successful surgery ke"

"Nahi nahi doctor.. Hum use nahi khona chahte hai bete jaisa hai wo mere liye.. Mujhe koi risk nahi lena hai thank you" she said and gets up.

She moved to the MRI scan room, she said "Aaru ghar chale?"

Aarav didn't respond, he was busy playing with the teddy. She held his hand and took him out.

Aarav sits inside the car, Vikram sees him and brings his favourite "baraf ka gola" which he often used to demand. He forwards it to him, and Aarav moves to the other side and glances outside the window.

It disappointed Vikram, Poonam placed her hand on his shoulder. He turned and instantly hugged her "kho diya maine apne bhai ko Poonam.. Maa papa mujhe kabhi maaf nahi karenge kabhi nahi"

"Nahi Vikram.. Doctor ne kaha hai normal toh nahi par accident ke baad waala Aaru humhe mil sakta hai.. Bas humhe saiyyam rakhna hai aur khub saara pyaar dena hai.." she said softly

He parted the hug "sach??wo pehchan lega na mujhe?? Bhai bolega na" he asked with teary eyes.

"Haa kyun nahi kahega.. Bhai bolega zid karega.. Car pe chad jayega baraf ka gola nahi dilaoge toh... ye hum jab romance karenge toh kahega ye game mujhe bhi khelna hai" she said with a painful smile on her face.

Vikram closes his eyes for a moment remembering those memories. She takes the the ice sweet from his hand and says "Chalo Aaru nahi kha raha toh tum khalo uske hisse ka.."

He eats a bite and gives the remaining to her. "Tum hi khao Poonam.. Mann nahi hai mera" he said and sat to drive the car. Poonam sighed in disappointment. She sat beside him and Vikram drove off home.

Poonam's phone rings, she picks it up "haan Shailesh kaho"

"Mam kuch issue aa gaya hai kya aap office aa sakti hai?" he asked

"Nahi abhi mere liye family zaroori hai.. Tum ek kaam karo jo bhi issue hai mujhe sab details email karo aur mathur ko ghar bheju" Poonam informed

"Thik hai mam" he said and ended the call.

Vikram looked at her and said "zaroori hai toh chali jao Poonam.. Main hun Aaru ke paas"

"Don't worry Vikram main sab handle kar lungi work aur family kaise manage karna hai ye maine tumse hi seekha hai" She replies with a smile on her face

"Galat Poonam.. Main sirf kaam karta raha family ko neglect karta raha" he said looking at the rear mirror which showed the reflection of Aarav who was lost in the beauty of nature.

"Bhai aapke paas waqt kaha hota hai mere liye? Papa ke jaane ke baad sab zimmedari aap par aa gayi hai.."

"Chachi hoti hai ghar mein par phir bhi mujhe akela lagta hai bhabhi hoti toh maa ki kami mehsus nahi hoti.."

Poonam understands his guilt, she said "sabse pehle tumhe apne iss guilt ko khatam karna hoga Vikram.. Phir hi tum Aaru ko sambhal paoge"

Vikram shook his head positively. They reached home, and Vikram saw many people gathered around. "Poonam.." he uttered

Poonam saw his reaction and turned her gaze towards the direction. She was shocked to find people gathered in the garden.

Vikram got off and said "Tum yahi Aaru ke saath baithi raho.." she nodded.

He walks towards the crowd and sees Kavya and Nitin standing at the door with a smile on their faces.

"Dekhiye le aaya ye apne paagal bhai ko wapas! Phirse aap sabke bacho ko marega.. Bhaisab aap toh sab jante hai na? Uss din sab kuch aapke saamne hi hua tha" Kavya said with fake tears.

Vikram shouts "Chachi bakwaas band karo aapni.. Apne ye jhoothe aanu dikhake aap sabko bewakuf bana sakti ho par mujhe nahi"

"Vikram ye tumhara bhala hi chahti hai.. Aur hum Aarav ko wapas yahan iss society mein rehne ki ijajat nahi de sakte hai" the neighbour declared.

Vikram glared at Nitin and Kavya who passed a victory look to him. "Sab bahar niklo! Mera bhai mere saath rahega samjhe aap log" he yelled

"Hum police complaint kar denge Vikram agar tumne Aarav ko wapas mental aslyum nahi bheja! Hamare bacho ko khatra hai usse" the lady threatened him.

"Mere Aaru se khatra hai aapke bache ho? Are wo mujhe pehchanta tak nahi hai.. Dusron ko kya hi nuksan pahuchyega?" he said

"Andhe mat bano apne bhai ke pyaar mein Vikram.." Nitin commented

Nitin signaled his man in the crowd, one of them walked to the car and opened the door of it. He pulled out Aarav and screamed, "Are.. paagal chod!"

Aarav gets scared hearing him, and he panics. Poonam stepped out of the car and pushed the man away "Door raho isse..."

Aarav hides behind Poonam holding her saree dupatta tightly like a scared child holding his mother. He was frightened seeing the crowd "maine kuch nahi kiya in..injection nahi dena" he said innocently

Vikram argued with everyone but there was no point. After about 10 minutes the police arrived and everyone was surprised at their arrival.
