The file drops from Vikram's hand. He steps back and grabs the table stopping himself from falling on the floor. The world had shaken for him, he couldn't believe his eyes what he had just read. He picked up the file again and read the name again for reassurance.

He was filled with mixed emotions, his eyes slowly began to become watery. It was hard for him to believe that Aarav's accident was conducted by his most closed person.

"Saahil... ye jhooth hai na?" he asked rolling his eyes towards him.

Vikram hoped that Saahil doesn't say what he didn't want to hear but his hopes shattered the moment Saahil looked down.

"Ye sach hai Vikram.. Usine Aaru ka accident kiya.. Aur phir wahi marne ke liye chod diya" Saahil concluded.

Vikram throws away the things on the table in anger "no..."

"Agar aap unhe kuch ghante pehle laaye hote toh ye nahi hota Vikram.."

"Sukhar manao bhagwaan ka uski jaan bach gayi..."

Vikram closed his eyes and takes a deep breath. Saahil asked "Vikram.. Tum ab bhi chahte ho main koi action lun?"

"Nahi Saahil.. Uss insaan ko saza main khud dunga itna bada dhoka.." He walks out of the chamber with a strong feeling of annoyance. Nitin saw him leaving and could sense something bad is about to happen.

His eyes fell on Saahil and he questioned him what is the matter. Saahil informed him everything and his eyes became wide "what??? Are you sure Saahil??" he asked shockingly.

"Yes Sir.. ye baat mujhe ek mahina pehle hi pata chal gayi thi lekin Vikram ki shaadi thi uss waqt isliye maine nahi bataya" he informed

"Thank you Saahil.. Mujhe ghar jaana hoga Vikram pata nahi gussa kya kar baithe" Nitin said worriedly. He rushes out of the office.

Vikram was driving, and a lot of memories flashed in front of his eyes. "Sab jhooth tha.. Sab kuch" he hits his hand hard on the steering wheel. He halts the car in front of the bungalow and gets off it.

He marched inside the house, he saw Poonam sitting on the couch and Aarav sleeping keeping his head on her lap.

Poonam saw him and smiled "Vikram aa gaye aap.. Maria sahab ki coffee le aao maine banake rakhi hai" she said to the maid.

Maria gets coffee for him but Vikram throws the mug on the floor. Poonam was shocked at his reaction, and Aarav woke up hearing the noise. He rolls his eyes towards Vikram and smiled "bhai..."

He got up and run to hug him. "Bhai I missed you.. Aaj aap bhi aate na Aaru ke saath hospital.. Bhabhi maa aur maine pani puri khayi kal aap bhi chalna" he said

"Aaru.. apne room mein jao" Vikram said trying to maintain his calm.

Aarav denied "nahi.. Aapke saath khelna hai bhabhi maa bhi khelengi hamare saath'

Vikram closed his eyes for a moment, he said trying hard to control his anger and not to shout at him "Aaru maine kaha aap room mein jao.."

Poonam looked at him and his tone was different. Nitin entered the house, Kavya glanced at him and signaled him the matter as Vikram is looking extremely angry.

Aarav held his hand and tries to take him up "chalo na bhai.. Aaru ko khelna hai" he said stubbornly. 

Vikram lost his cool and shouts at him "Aaru maine kaha apne room mein jaao"

Aarav shivered to hear his loud voice, tears slip down his eyes as for the first time Vikram shouted at him "aapne Aaru ko daanta.. Katti" he runs upstairs to his room.

Poonam stared at him "Vikram kya hai ye?? Aaru pe kyun apna gussa nikal rahe ho tum??" she takes a step to convince Aarav but Vikram held her wrist tightly and pushed her back.

Poonam was shocked at his action, she looked into his eyes, and for the first time, she sensed anger and hatred for herself in those loving eyes. "Vikram.. Kya baat hai? Tumne mujhe kyun roka jaane se Aaru ke paas?"

"Tum uske aas paas bhi nahi jaogi Poonam door rahogi usse" he shouted at the top of his lungs.

Everyone was stunned hearing his words. "Vikram kya kah rahe ho tum? Tumhe pata hai aaj doctor ne kya kaha? Hamara Aaru.."

"Mera Aaru.. sirf mera" Vikram shouted more at her.

Poonam couldn't understand the reason for his behavior towards her but she definitely didn't like him screaming at her in front of servants and family members. "Stop it Vikram! Tum mujhpe bina wajah aise nahi chilla sakte ho"

"Jo harkat tumne ki hai na uske liye toh main tumhe jaan se maar deta Poonam" He yells at her leaving her in complete disbelief.

She closed her eyes for a moment, Kavya asked "Vikram bahu se aise kyun baat kar raha tu beta? Kiya kya hai isne?"

"Aaru ka accident kiya hai isne" Vikram said

Poonam looked at him with wide eyes. Vikram opens the file and shows it to her "Dekho... jis car se Aaru ki car ka accident hua wo tumhare naam pe registered hai! Tumne mere Aaru ko wahi sadak pe maarne ke liye chod diya Poonam aur uss wajah se Aaru aaj iss halat mein hai" he throws the file on her face.

Poonam's jaw dropped upon hearing his words. She stared at him and tears brimmed down his eyes. He had never imagined that the person whom he loved immensely is responsible for his brother's mental state. She remained silent and her silence was proving that this is the bitter truth. He was more hurt because she hide the truth from her, they loved each other but she failed to keep the transparency between the two. 

Vikram grabbed her by the arm and jerked her a few times "kyun Poonam? Kyun dhoka diya mujhe?? Kyun nahi bataya mujhe sab tumne haan?? Kyun" he shouted at her.

"Vikram.. Mai.. manti hun mujhse teen saal pehle ek accident hua tha lekin wo Aaru hai ye mujhe sach mein nahi pata tha" she tried to explain. Vikram's eyes became wide, he pushed her hard and she ends up dropping on the couch.

Kavya holds her, Poonam stood up again and looked at him. "Jhooth Poonam.. Tum yahan aayi mere aaru ko wapas hurt karne.. Usse mujhse door karne! Tab nahi maara toh ab use maarna chahti ho tum"

Poonam rebuked "Vikram bakwaas mat karo.. Tum soch bhi kaise sakte ho main Aaru ko hurt karungi haan?"

"Tum kar chuki ho Poonam uska accident karke aur use do din tak dawaiyan bhi nahi khilayi thi tumne" Vikram blamed her for trying to harm his brother again.

Kavya said "hey bhagwaan.. Isliye bahu aaj Aaru ko regular doctor ke paas nahi leke gayi"

Vikram eyed her "matlab chachi?"

"Vikram shaq toh mujhe bahu pe bahut pehle se tha.. Lekin tu isse bahut pyaar karta hai isliye kuch kaha nahi maine" she said and showed concerned for Aarav.

"Chachi aap kya kah rahi hai? Saaf saaf kahiye.." Vikram demanded.

"Kayi baar maine dekha hai bahu ne Aaru ko dawai nahi di.." Kavya said and told him during the wedding when she took medicines to Aarav's room, instead of giving them to Aarav she threw them away.

Poonam held Vikram's hand "VIkram.. Baat suno yahi main tumhe samjhana chahti hun doctor ne kaha ki Aaru ko.."

"Enough Poonam.. Nahi sunna hai mujhe tumhara koi jhooth.. Mere mana karne ke bawjud tumne apni manmaani ki.. Uss din dekha tha na tumne kya haalat hui thi Aaru ki.. Phir bhi tumne wahi galti ki! Sab samajh aa gaya mujhe.. Tum janti thi main Aaru ka bhai hun.. Isliye mujhse shaadi karne ki jaldi thi tumhe.. Apna guilt kum karna chahti thi tum Aaru ne tumhe apna liya aur tumhe laga tum ab mujhe sach bologi toh main tumhe maaf kar dunga iske accident ke liye? Yahi socha tha na tumhe" he confronted her.

Poonam denied "Vikram tum galat samajh rahe ho... main nahi jaanti thi Aaru tumhara bhai hai meri wajah se uska accident hua sach mei.. Mera pyaar laad dikhawa nahi tha"

She tried to touch him but he stepped back and showed his hand "khabardar Poonam! Ek baar bhi tumne mujhse sach nahi kaha aur ab chahti ho main tumpe vishwas karun? Nahi Poonam.. Tum bhaag gayi Aaru ko waha marta hua chod.. Zara si bhi insaniyat nahi dikhayi tumne Poonam.. Agar tum use waqt rehte hospital le jaati toh aaj mera bhai jis haal mein hai na waise nahi hota.. Nahi hota wo" he shouted and banged in hand hard on the dining table which was of glass. It breaks and the blood starts to ooze out from his hand.

Poonam walks to him and held his hand. He jerked her away "just back off Poonam.. Nafrat hai mujhe tumse door ho jao meri nazron se tum"

"Main kahi nahi jaungi Vikram.. Main yahan Aaru ko takleef dene nahi aayi hun tum hi socho na? Agar mujhe use takleef deni hoti toh kya main uski bhabhi maa banne ka intezar karti?" she asked cupping his face and tears slipping down her eyes.

Vikram smiled sarcastically "kyuki Aaru tumhe apne paas nahi aane de raha tha Poonam.. Ab toh tum use maar bhi deti na toh bhi main vishwaas nahi karta tum aisa kar sakti ho.." he said and Poonam was shocked hearing him. She could see the love for her disappearing from his eyes.

"VIkram mujhpe aisa ilzam mat lagao tum! Sach toh ye hai ki tumhare chacha chachi hi Aaru ke jaan ke dushman bane hue hai" Poonam said.

"Just shut up Poonam.. Ek shabd nahi sunna hai mujhe chacha chachi ke khilaf.. Sirf 10 saal ka tha Aaru jab maa humhe chodke gayi tab Chachi ne maa ki jagah li.. Aur papa ke jaane ke baad chachaji ne mujhe sambhala mera business mein saath diya! Main Pune jaata tha toh wo Aaru ka khayal rakhte they.. Wo unhe hi chot pahuchta tha lekin hamesha uske saath rehte they.. Toh unpe toh tum ilzam lagana hi mat Poonam.. Ginn aati hai mujhe apne aapse maine usse pyaar kiya jisne mere bhai ko chod diya marne ke liye" he confronts her.

Poonam was taken aback hearing his words. His words pinched her heart like a needle. The hatred in his eyes and words was killing her from the inside. He said something which left Poonam dumbstruck
