Poonam was about to take Aarav to the hospital but then she heard a loud scream. She rushed and saw Kavya winching in pain.

She asked "chachi kya hua??"

"Beta wo Aaru ne yahan apna stake chod rakha tha mujhe dikha nahi aur main phisal gayi" Kavya replies.

She helps her get up but Kavya shouts in pain "Aah.. lagta hai fracture hai mujhe hospital le chal"

"Ji.."

Poonam instructed Maria on what to do and she goes to the hospital with her. Kavya gets treated and the doctor informed her that she had got a fracture. It will take at least a month for her to get recover.

Poonam thanked him and returns home with her. Kavya made her sit on the couch, she said "Sorry bahu... meri wajah se tum Aaru ko leke nahi jaa paayi"

"Koi baat nahi hai chachi pehle aap thik ho jayie main agle mahine le jaungi Aaru ko checkup ke liye" Poonam said as this time she had to take care of her.

Nitni and Vikram returned home. Nitin saw the fracture and said in concern "thik ho na Kavya??"

"Are aap dono kyun aa gaye? Main bilkul thik hun bahu hai na mere paas" Kavya replies

Vikram eyed Poonam and thanked her for taking Kavya to the hospital in time and even handing Aarav.

"Kaise kar leti ho tum Poonam? Aaru ko bhi sambhal leti ho.. Mujhe bhi chachi.." he was just amazed at the way she takes care of his family

"Ye mera farz hai Vikram.. Aur tumhare saath ke bina toh main kuch nahi kar sakti.. Meri himmat ho tum" she replies.

Vikram smiled upon hearing her words. Aarav enters the house after playing with his friends and Poonam shouted "Aaru.. gande jhoothe"

He looks down and then at Poonam "sorry bhabhi maa.. Aaru abhi nikal deta hai" he takes off his shoes and runs to Vikram.

"Bhai aaj aap itni jaldi aa gaye.. Chalo na hum video game khelte hai" he said and pulls him to his room.

A month passed by, Kavya's plaster gets removed and she is able to walk properly. Vikram had become less worried for Aarav as Poonam is with him always. He asked her to again join the work but she refused as she wanted to give 100% of her efforts in recovering process of Aarav. He had gained more respect for her and the love had only deepened between the two.

Aarav's cute acts make them laugh and sometimes his behaviour raises their hopes high that he will recover. 

One day, Vikram returned from the office. He saw Aarav playing in the garden with his buddy Chintu. A smile appears on his face seeing him, he walked into the house and headed upstairs to the bedroom. He saw Poonam sitting on the bed and placing the pictures into the photo album. 

He silently tries to slide beside her without making any noise but she catches him "pehle fresh ho jao phir mere paas baithna" 

He made a face "kya hai Poonam..." 

Poonam smiles and stared at him "sab pata hai mujhe tumhari trick.. jao bathroom mein" 

Vikram sighed deeply and headed to the bathroom. Poonam laughed at his cute anger. After a while he returned changing and sat down beside her hugging her tightly "ab toh chodunga nahi..." 

"offo Vikram.. main kaam kar rahi hun na Aaru aa jayega phir hoga nahi" she complained. 

Vikram glanced at the pictures, he picked up one and it was last Sunday's picnic memory where he and Aarav are having a cute argument. Aarav is anger and Vikram is trying to apologize "haww.. ye pic kyun click kari tumne?" 

"ab future mein hasne ke liye kuch memories toh honi chahiye na" she laughed and Vikram glared at her. 

Vikram smiled fakely "haa.. wo dikh raha hai mujhe.." 

"waise tumhare aur mere bhi bahut pics hai" Poonam said 

"kidhar se aaye?" he asked astonished as they rarely get such a chance. 

"chintu ki meherbani.. Aaru ne zid ki toh tumne use instant camera laake diya aur usme sirf hamare hi pictures hai dekho" she picks up another album and shows it to him. 

Vikram looks at them they were in different romantic poses, some working in the kitchen together. Vikram hits his hand on his forehead "Hey bhagwaan ise hamare game ka matlab kya pata chala chupke chupke photos click karne laga hai" 

"bigada toh tumne hi hai.." Poonam taunts. 

Vikram smiles lightly. "waise abhi wo chintu se saath busy hai" he said

"toh?" she asked though she know what he meant. 

He placed his hand around her waist and pulled her closer. They shared a passionate kiss. 

"bhabhi maa..." the voice distracted. 

Poonam parted away and Vikram sighed in disappointment "Aaru ka bacha.." 

Poonam laughed "chh chh.. so sad" she comments and got up from the bed but he pulled her back such that she landed on top of him. 

"Vikram jaane do warna upar aa jayega" she said

"Aane do" he said irritatedly and continued kissing her neck. 

Aarav came up and saw them, he had a naughty smile on his face. He was already holding the camera, he clicked the picture "woohu.. ek aur picture mil gayi bhai aur bhabhi maa ki game khelte hue" 

Poonam got off and slapped Vikram's arm "kaha tha tumse.." 

Vikram glared at Aarav "kitni baar kaha hai aise nahi aate hai.." 

Aarav showed his tongue to him and run away from there. Vikram followed him "Ruk Aaru.. batata hun tujhe main..." 

Poonam smiles at the cuteness. "hey kanhaji.. bas isi tarah meri khushiyan banaye rakhna.. ye dono bahut hi anmol rishte hai mere" she prayed. 

She remembered something which she was supposed to do a month ago. 

She decides to take Aarav for a checkup now. She couldn't get Aarav's current doctor appointment so she gets an appointment with another doctor whom she trusts and knows for years. 

The next day, Aarav comes downstairs and shouted "bhabhi maa.. Aaru ke shoe laces bando na"

Poonam who was sitting on the couch with his file, keeps it on the table and moves to him. "Kya hai Aaru? Kitni baar bataya hai tumhe kaise bandhane hai"

"Lekin Aaru ko acha lagta hai jab aap karti ho" he replies innocently

Poonam smiles lightly, she bends down and ties his shoelaces. Aarav asked "hum jaa kaha rahe hai? Bhai aa rahe hai hamare saath?"

"Nahi bhai nahi aa rahe hai hum bahut zaroori kaam se jaa rahe hai" Poonam said, she didn't wanted to tell him that she is taking him to the hospital as he doesn't like to be there.

Kavya steps out of the room and hands over another piece of paper to Poonam "ye toh bahu ye Aaru ki prescription hai.. Hospital jaogi na toh inki kuch reports aani thi wo bhi lete aana" she said

Poonam closed her eyes for a moment. Aarav asked "hospital?? Hum hospital jaa rahe hai?"

Kavya bits her tongue out, she apologizes to Poonam in sign language.

"Aaru chalo late ho raha hai" Poonam said holding his hand but he jerked her hand away.

"Aaru hospital nahi jayega.." he denies and runs upstairs to his room.

"Chachiji kya kiya aapne? Ab main kaise leke jaungi usko" she said angrily.

"Sorry beta mera dhyan hi nahi gaya uspe" Kavya apologized to her. Poonam moves upstairs to his room but couldn't find him anywhere. She searched for him in whole floor but it went in vain. She moved to the terrace but he wasn't there too.

"Ye ladka kahan chip gaya hai?" she thought. She moves to the bedroom again, she opens the wardrobe and finds him sitting there hiding behind the clothes.

"Aaru.. bahar aao" she said

"No.. Aaru hospital nahi jayega" he denied adamantly

"Are kuch nahi hoga bhabhi maa hai na" she tries to convince him.

He shook his head in a big no "nahi jaana na.. Doctor gande hai Aaru ko sui lagate hai" he complained.

"Nahi lagayene main hun na.." she said and tries to pull him out but he had held the back of the wardrobe tightly.

"Nahi bhabhi maa.. Aaru nahi jayega" he denies

Poonam glared at him "aaru.. Acha thik hai aap chaloge toh main icecream khilaungi wapas aate waqt" she said

Aarav licks his lips but then stared at her "ullu toh nahi bana rahi ho na Aaru ko?" he asked

"Nahi.. pakka khilaungi aur hum gol gappe bhi khayenge" she said

Aarav smiled and gets out of the wardrobe. He holds his favourite teddy bear and said "Chimpu bhi jayega... hai na chimpu??"

Poonam ruffles his hair and both of them moved downstairs. Poonam picks up his file and both of them left for the hospital.

City Hospital

Poonam reaches with Aarav, he held her hand tightly as he hated coming to hospital. Poonam lightly tapped his arm and assured him she is with him.

They entered doctor's cabin and he greeted them. "No injection warna Aaru bhaag jayega" he said glaring at the doctor

Doctor smiled "jaisa aap kahe aap aayie"

Aarav lays down on the stretcher and pulls Poonam with him. She caressed his head "main yahi hun.."

"Ye na bhai ko bahar bhej dete hai.. Aap nahi jaana" he complained

"Nahi jaungi mai" she assured him.

The big machine moved and it stopped on top of his head. "Bhabhi maa.." he said a bit loud.

"Yahi hun mai.." Poonam assured him.

After about 20 minutes of scanning, the machine moved and Aarav instantly got up. He hugged Poonam and gulped down his throat. Poonam felt weird at his behaviour, she asked "kya hua Aaru?"

"Bhai.. bhai ko phone karo aur pucho wo thik hai?" he asked

Poonam cupped his face "Vikram thik hai Aarav.. Wo office mein hai"

"Nahi aap phone karo please" he pleaded her.

Poonam agrees and calls Vikram. Aarav takes the phone from her hand and attached it to his ear. "Haan Poonam Aaru ka checkup ho gaya?" he asked.

"Bhai bhai.. Aap thik ho na??" he asked anxiously.

Vikram was surprised hearing him "Aaru main thik hun.. Kya hua tujhe?"

"Aap aa jao na Aaru ke paas Aaru ko darr lag raha hai" he complained.

"Main shyam ko aata hun Poonam hai na.." Vikram replies, Aarav agrees and ends the call.

They wait for a while for the reports and the doctor again calls them.

Aarav plays with Chimpu, Poonam eyed at the doctor and asked "Doctor Aaru ka behaviour.. Kabhi lagta hai ek dum thik hai kabhi nahi..."

"This is sign of improvement Mrs Malhotra.. I am actually surprised seeing his reports teen saal mein itni recovery nahi hui jitna kuch mahine mein ho gayi aap toh mircale banke aayi hai iski zindagi mei.. Poonam tumne sahi kaha tha kabhi kabhi medicines se zyada pyaar laad jaldi asar karta hai.." He said

"Thank you doctor.. Vikram bahut khush honge ye sunke toh main agar ise medicines na bhi dun toh thik hai na?" she asked

"Haan.. sirf tab hi dena jab ye thoda aggressive behave kare.." The doctor replied.

The doctor passed a bar of chocolate to Aarav, he took it and smiled "aap ache doctor ho.. Aaru ko injection nahi lagate dusre waale toh lagte hai"

Poonam held his medical reports and both of them moved out of the hospital. As promised she buys ice cream for him. Aarav eats it, Poonam held his hand and asked "Aaru ek baat puchun?"

"Hmm.." he said

"Chacha chachi kyun pasand nahi hai tumhe?" she questioned to clear the doubts from her mind.

Aarav stops eating ice-cream. He looked at her and said "Aaru nahi batayega.."

"Kyun nahi? Bhabhi maa toh dost hai na aur doston se kuch nahi chupate" Poonam said trying find the reason for his behaviour towards Kavya and Nitin.

"Bas wo dono ache nahi lagte Aaru ko!" he gets angry and throws the icecream.

Poonam rubbed his plam "acha acha thik hai.. Bhabhi maa kuch nahi puchegi.."

"Chalo pani puri khayenge" Poonam said, Aarav smiles and they move to the stall. Poonam takes the plastic bowl and the man places the pani puri in it. Aarav opens his mouth and she places it in his mouth.

"Yummy.. Bhai hote toh kitna maza aata" he said

"Kal aayenge tumhare bhai ke saath" Poonam said.

Aarav hugs her tightly "I love you bhabhi maa.. Aaru se kabhi door nahi jaana aap hoti ho toh aaru ko kisise darr nahi lagta"

Poonam smeared his head and both of them headed back towards the bungalow.

At office

Vikram has been working, the manager enters his chamber and informs him "Sir Inspector Saahil aaye hai bahar"

"Unhe andar bhejo" Vikram said and kept the laptop aside. Saahil entered the chamber and Vikram gets up from the chair. He moves to him and Saahil shakes hand with him.

"Many many congratulations for your wedding Vikram" he said

"Thank you Saahil.. Kuch pata chala tumhe? Kisne kiya Aaru ka accident?" Vikram asked in a serious tone.

Saahil gets worried, he said "Vikram wo.."

"Saahil please.. Teen saal ho gaye hai tum nahi jante ho mere andar kitna gussa hai uss insaan ke liye jisne mere bhai ko marne ke liye chod diya sadak pe... use saza dilwani hai mujhe uski wajah se mera bhai iss haal mein hai" he raged

Saahil nodded in yes "janta hun Vikram.. Wo din main kabhi nahi bhoolunga mere liye mere chote bhai jaisa hai Aarav"

"Bolo phir kisne kiya uska accident" Vikram asked curiously

"Vikram.. Jaane do na.. Aarav tumhare saath hai aur kya chahiye tumhe?" he said

Vikram glared at him "haa Aaru mere saath hai lekin thik nahi hai! Batao mujhe kisne kiya Aaru ka accident.. I will kill that person" he nearly shouted.

Saahil takes a deep breath, he hands him the file and Vikram immediately opened it. He read the name of the person and his eyes became wide.
