Vikram puts Aarav to sleep and caressed his head lightly. He waited for him to feel into a deep sleep so that he could move to Poonam's room to pacify her. He heard his snoring sounds, and he quietly got off the bed and moved toward the guest room.

He knocks on the door "Poonam.." he calls her name.

She doesn't open the door, he sighed in disappointment but keeps on knocking on the door.

Poonam gets annoyed and finally opens it. She glared at him "kya hai Vikram? kyu meri neend kharab kar rahe ho?"

"sorry.." he apologized.

She smiled fakely at him and was about to shut the door in his face but Vikram held the door. He gets into the room and Poonam stared at her "Vikram mujhe bahut kaam hai subah.. jao tum yahan se" she said angrily

"Poonam I am sorry uss waqt mujhe bahut fikar ho gayi thi Aaru ki.. isliye gusse mein tumhe kuch bhi kah gaya main" he tried to justify

"tumne mujhpe ilzam lagaya hai Vikram.. mujhe tumse koi baat nahi karni hai jaao tum yahan se" she said and turned to other side.

Vikram tries to hold her hand but she jerked his hand "nahi jaana hai toh main hi jaati hun" she walked out of the room and moved to another room. Vikram sighed deeply, he sits down on the bed sadly.

It has been three days since Poonam had not spoken to him. Nitin came to him and said "beta aaj international delegates se meeting hai chale?"

Vikram thought of something "chachaji aaj aap sambhal lijiye main aaj Aaru aur Poonam ke saath rehna chahta hun"

"Thik hai beta.." Nitin said with a smile on his face and left the house.

Vikram moved to the kitchen and saw Aarav sitting on the slab beside Poonam who had been preparing his favourite breakfast.

"Jaldi jaldi.. Bahut bhook lagi hai Aaru ko" Aarav said impatiently

"Bas do minute Aaru tabtak aap apna milk finish karo" she said and forwarded the glass to him.

"Nahi phir tummy full ho jayega toh ye kaise jayega tummy pe?" he tried to give excuse

Poonam glared at him "sab pata hai tumhari nautanki mujhe.. Chup chap dudh peeyo" she ordered

Aarav made a face, Vikram entered and said "Aaru.."

Aarav looked at him and smiled "bhai aap office nahi gaye?"

Vikram ruffled his hair "nahi.. Aaj socha hum picnic pe chale?"

Aarav's eyes light up hearing his words "sachi??"

"Haa.. chalo apne games rakho" Vikram said softly

Aarav got off the slab and was about to leave but Poonam stops him "Aaru.. wapas aao"

He turned back at her and eyed her innocently. "Dudh khatam karo apna.."

"Lekin bhai ne kaha..." he tried to say but Poonam shot a deadly glare at him.

Aarav rolled his eyes towards Vikram, he quietly gave him the glass "peelo"

He held the glass and drank the milk finally. He rushed back to his room afterward to pack the things for the picnic.

Vikram eyed Poonam and said "taiyar ho jao.. Chalna hai na picnic ke liye"

"Mera mann nahi hai" she refuses and moves out of the kitchen.

Vikram sighed deeply. After a while, Aarav comes downstairs and hands Vikram a few things. "Lekin tumhari nayi dost nahi aa rahi hai hamare saath" Vikram whispers in his ears

"Haww kyun? Wahi toh chintu ko harati hai patang mei.. Nahi nahi unhe toh aana padega" Aarav said

"Jao le aao" Vikram replied with a smile on his face.

Aarav sees Poonam sitting on the couch and busy scrolling her phone. Aarav moves to her and said "dost.. Chalo na picnic pe"

"Aaru meri tabiyat thik nahi hai aap jao" Poonam replies understanding Vikram's trick to take her along.

"Ohho.. kya ho gaya aapko?" he asked in concern

"Kuch nahi Aaru.. aap jao main thik hun" Poonam replies

"Nahi aap chalo" he held her and tires to pull her along. Poonam couldn't deny more so moves out of the house with him.

Vikram had been waiting for them inside the car, Poonam sits behind while Aarav sits in front. Vikram glanced at Poonam through the mirror who glared at him with narrow eyes.

"Gusse mein bhi cute hi lagti hai" he murmured.

Aarav shouted "bhai chalo na.. Jaldi..."

Vikram drove off towards the picnic spot. Within half an hour they reached Nehru park which was a popular picnic spot in the town. Poonam got down and opened the bonnet of the car. Aarav came to her and she handed him the picnic basket. He moved then Vikram came to her, he forwarded his hand but instead of handing him, she walked away.

Vikram sighed helplessly, he closed the bonnet and moved towards them. Aarav said with excitement "Aaj phir chintu ki patang katenge.."

He takes out the kite and keeps it on the floor. Vikram ties the thread to it and asks Aarav to take it far. Aarav throws it high in the air and Vikram flies it.

Aarav looks up in the sky and made a face "ohho bhai.. Chintu ki patang kaato na"

"Nahi kategi Aarav bhaiya.. Aaj toh main hi jeetunga" Chintu shouted from the other side

Aarav gets annoyed hearing him, Poonam holds the thread from Vikram and pushed him to the side "hato tum.. Kuch nahi hoga tumse"

"Excuse me?? I am CEO... matlab kya hai kuch nahi hoga mujhse?" Vikram argued with her.

"Bas kaam karo tum!" Poonam taunts him.

Vikram snatched the thread from her hand "abhi dekhta hun" within a few seconds Chintu's kite gets cut and it flies away.

Aarav jumps in excitement "Woohu..." he hugs Vikram from behind "jeet gaye hum.."

Vikram gives him the thread and Aarav keeps flying it. Vikram gave a victory look to her but she turned away.

Vikram held her hand but she hits hard on his "don't.."

"Sorry Poonam.. Tum janti ho Aaru ko leke main bahut protective hun.." he replies

"Janti hun.. Isliye main toh uska bura hi chahti hun na" she said sarcastically.

Aarav shouts "ohho.. Dost patang kat gayi aaru ki.. Ab ball se khelenge aao na"

Poonam smiles looking at him, she gets up and moves to him. Aarav throws the ball toward her and she steps behind to catch it. She ends up colliding with Vikram and both of them drop on the floor.

Poonam eyed him and he smiled at her. They exchanged an eye look with each other. Aarav stared at them in confusion and scratches his head "ye dost aur bhai kya karte rehte hai.."

Chintu said "Aaru bhaiya chalo udhar birds hai dekho"

Aarav goes with him.

Poonam realised the situtaion, she gets off him and stands up straight. Vikram also gets up and asked "thik ho na??"

"I am fine.." she replied

She looks around but couldn't find Aarav "ye Aaru kaha gaya?"

Vikram rolled his eyes around and said "yahi kahi hoga.."

"Dundho.." Poonam said worriedly and began to search for him. She searched everywhere but couldn't catch any glimpse of him.

Vikram returns and she scolds him "tumhari wajah se Aaru pata nahi kaha chala gaya"

"Meri wajah se?? Maine kya kiya?" he asked

"Tum mujhse takrate nahi toh main girti nahi.. Meri nazar bhi usse nahi hattii phir kuch hua toh mujhe kah doge tum" she shouted at him

"Bas Poonam.. Manta hun meri galti main I am sorry.. Mujhe pata hai tum mujhse zyada Aaru ki parwah karti ho tumse jo kaha uske baad mujhe bhi takleef hui hai.. Maine anjaane mein tumhe hurt kar diya soh nahi paaya hun main uske baad raat ko" he said with his eyes turning moist.

Poonam's anger melts in a second upon hearing his words. She could see in his eyes he had been truthful. She closed her eyes for a moment and hugs him "I am sorry too.. Mujhe bhi itna tumse naraz nahi hona chahiye tha" she said in a soft tone.

Vikram wraps his hand behind her back and they remained in each other's embrace warmly.

Here chintu and Aarav were running behind the ducks near the lake. Chitu's mother came and said "Chintu chalo beta der ho rahi hai"

Chintu nodded waved bye to Aarav and left. Aarav shakes his hand and looks around "ohho.. Bhai aur dost kaha hai?"

He moves around and searches for them. He comes to the spot but couldn't find them anywhere. He then notices them near the tree-hugging each other. He walks to them and asked something which left Vikram and Poonam perplexed.
