Lucy's POV

After the little 'incident' that happened with Sting before Sting and I was walking back to the inn, but I felt like I was being followed by someone. Sometimes I kept on looking back but no one was there.

"Hey Lucy, are you alright? You keep on looking back behind us."

"H-huh, I'm fine." I then heard something move behind us and I think Sting heard it too because he looked back as well.

"Lucy did you hear that?"

"Yeah. You wanna go check who it is?" He nodded and we started walking back only to find the person I hate the most.

Natsu's POV

For some reason I followed Sting and Luce while they were going back to Sabertooth's inn. And while I was running I bumped into a garbage can and those two heard it.

'Crap' I thought. 'They'll kill me if they find me.' But there was nowhere to hide so I just came out of hiding.

Lucy's POV

"Natsu?! Why are you following us?"

"Luce-"

"Ok stop right there. I told you to call me Lucy no more nicknames."

"Ok sorry Lucy, I need to talk to you."

Sting butted in and said. "Why would you think she would wanna talk to you salamander?"

"Because I'm her best friend saber."

"No, no you were her best friend. Now I'm her best friend now." Sting said smirking.

"Sting its fine I'll talk to him." To tell the truth I was curious about what he wanted to talk about.

"Ok, I'll meet you back at the inn blondie." Sting said as he walked to the direction of the inn.

"Yeah see ya there." I said waving to him. After he was out of sight I turned around, sighed and looked at Natsu.

"So what you want to talk about?"

"The entire guild wants you back, please come back."

"I told you last time, and if you don't remember I'll repeat it for you. Natsu Dragneel, I will never and I mean never come back to Fairy Tail, and never in my life will I ever forgive you about what you said about me when I wasn't there. Plus you and all of the guild forgot me and ignored me, kicked me out of the guild and after all that you want me to forgive you?!"

"But I said I was sorry."

"Natsu Dragneel, 'sorry' is just a word to me, it's nothing but a word now. A simple 'sorry' isn't gonna cut it this time. You all hurt me and I swear I will get my revenge before I die. You all though I was weak and useless, well let's just see if you'll still dare to call me that after Sabertooth defeats you and your precious 'family'. And with that I walked away from him leaving him there, scared and shocked that the person he once knew was no longer with him.

Timeskip Back to Sabertooth's Inn

"Blondie what did Natsu want to talk about." Was the first question I heard once I got back to the inn.

"Not much, just asked me to go back to the guild but I declined." I said drinking a strawberry milkshake. After a few minutes I finished the milkshake and went to my room. Before I knew it I fell into deep sleep on the bed.

Next day

Lucy's POV

I was waiting for Mato to announce the match because we already won the event.

"Ok ladies and gentleman, I know this is the same match from yesterday, but the judges loved it soo much yesterday they wanted Sting and Natsu to have another match. So ladies and gentleman our first match of the day is Sting Eucliffe from Sabertooth vs Natsu Dragneel from Fairy Tail!" Once I heard that I looked over at Sting who was shocked as much as I was.

"Sting do you best, and remember to win for Sabertooth again." I said and then I kissed him on the cheek. He walked down the the arena with a red face until he started talking to Natsu.

Sting's POV

I was on the arena with a red face because of Lucy's kiss. Then the fairy started talking.

"Hey saber what do you say we make a bet?"

"Ok, what is it?" I said smirking.

"If I win this match, you have to let Lucy come back to Fairy Tail by the end of the GMG. And if I don't win, I'll stop bugging Lucy about coming back." Since I know Lucy heard that I looked up at Lucy asking if I should accept or not. She thought about it for a second then she nodded and mouthed 'You better win.' I nodded at her and looked back at Natsu.

"Your on salamander." He nodded in response and with that we started fighting.
After 10 minutes I started getting tired, ' I hate to say this, but he's pretty strong.' I thought.
We both did one final blow and dust covered the entire arena and after a couple of seconds the dust cleared showing who the true victor was.

I'll never forget this day because this was the day something I did changed our lives.
