Lucy's POV

The 2nd day of the GMG was a bit boring not to mention that Fairy Tail kept on staring at me every 5 seconds. I mean don't they get what I told them yesterday? But something I heard caught me off guard.

"And today's battle is Sting Eucliffe vs Natsu Dragneel!!!"

Once I heard that I smirked and told Sting to get my revenge.I guess I looked scary because people started backing up.

Sting gave me a thumbs up before he walked to the arena.

Sting's POV

Ok, I have to win this especially if its for Lucy.

"Ready...." I looked back at Lucy and gave her a slight smile. "And fight!!"

(Sting=Italics

Natsu= Bold)

"Get away from Lucy."

"Why should I?" I said with my usual confident smirk.

"Because she's my best friend. Not yours."

"Wow, you were the one that called her weak and betrayed her. And not to mention you were the one that left her for that stupid white haired take-over mage. Plus she's my best friend now so you stay away from her!"

We started the fight but of course in the end I won. When I got back to the guild Lucy basically killed me with a hug.

Lucy's POV

I was so happy Sting bet Natsu, I gave him the biggest hug I could.

"Oh, sorry!" I quickly apologized to him and I let go of him.

"Its ok blondie. And man you can hug."

Timeskip after The Games

We were about to leave when I saw that the sun was setting and it was beautiful, so I wanted to stay, to look at it some more.

"Hey guys, I'll meet you back at the inn." I said facing my team as we were about to leave the arena. " I'm gonna stay here a bit longer."

"Ok we'll meet you back there." I waved goodbye to them and walked back to Sabertooth's balcony and stared at the sun setting. And before I new it the sun was already gone and I was left looking at the night sky.

"Its really beautiful isn't it?" I looked behind me and it was...

"Oh, Sting its just you." I sighed in relief.

"Yeah, the others got worried and told me to come and get you."

"Why would they get worried? I told them I was gonna stay for a while."

"Yes but it's been almost 1 hour already."

"Oh, well sorry for worrying you guys. Let's go back now." I started walking back until I tripped on a crack in the stone floors and started falling forwards.

"Blondie-" I saw him try to catch me but he fell as well.
I felt something warm on my lips. 'Oh no don't tell me!' I opened my eyes and saw Sting on top of me with his arms on each side of my shoulders. I quickly pulled my lips away from his. He quickly stood up.

"Sorry blondie."

"Its okay it my fault I should be saying sorry."

"......" This awkward silence was killing me.

"So let's just pretend that never happened." I suggested.

"Y-yeah sure." I think I saw a blush on his face.

Natsu's POV

I can't believe that just happened between Lucy and Sting! There's no way I'm giving up on her and I'm not losing to Sting. Lucy will definitely be mine again.

This was one of the worst chapters I wrote so sorry. I updated my other story so I thought I would update this story too.
