Lucy's POV

"Sting, I don't want you to go," I said.

"O-Oh." He looked sadly on the floor which made me felt bad. Since I've never seen him like this except when he talks about his dragon. He must really want to go. I can't let my selfishness get in the way of him being with someone he loves. I have to let him go.

"I'm kidding. You can go." I managed to say without any tears. Instantly his face lit up with a big smile on his face.

"Thanks Blondie!" He hugged me really tight.

"Ok. Let me go now." I said. "So when are you going back?"

"Oh, at the end of the week." He said rubbing the back of his head.

"Are you sure Rogue doesn't want to go with you. I mean you guys were almost inseparable when I first met you." I said with a worried face.

"Yeah. I mean it was his choice to stay here. I tried to convince him but he still said he didn't want to. But I bet he wants to stay here because he wants to make sure you not alone again."

"That's so kind of him."

"Yeah. I'm happy that at least you get Rogue. I mean some people just take a glance at him and they think he doesn't have a heart or something." Sting smiled.

"Well, I gotta go back to the home now. And knowing how you've always been with Yukino these past few days I bet you have to get back to her." I walked away while waving back.

Sting's POV

What did she mean by that?

Lucy's POV

I finally got home and I saw Rogue still there. "Rogue?"

"Lucy, your back...... So did he tell you?" He asked me.

"Yeah. I really can't believe he's going. I mean I always thought that all three of us could always be a team, but it looks like Sting wants to take a different path than being with us." I looked down on the floor. There was silence for a couple of moments. But Rogue broke it.

"Cry if you want." I heard him say.

"Huh?" I looked back up to him again.

"Cry. It's obvious that you're holding back your tears right now." He was right I really was holding my tears back before. I mean I was fine even though he rejected me and he was always with Yukino, but at least then we were at least able to see each other a bit. But now that he leaves, I doubt I will ever see him again. I started crying then suddenly I felt arms around me, but I just kept on crying anyway.

"I-I can-can't believ-e he would act-ually d-do this. I rea-lly don't wan-t him t-to leave." I said while crying.

"Don't worry Lucy. We might be able to see him from time to time." Rogue said trying to cheer me up.

"B-But ev-en on the l-last wee-k he was with Yuk-ino."

"Yeah but we're his best friends and nothing can ever change that."

"I-I guess." I just continued crying.

Two Days Later

It's around 6pm right now and I was on my way to the guild. Mostly because yesterday and half of to day I was crying my head off.

I reached out for the doors hopping that Sting wasn't there. Once I opened it everyone ran up to me, and I was attacked with a bunch of questions.

"Lucy, were you sick or something?"

"Did Natsu do something to you again?"

"Sorry for worrying you guys. I'm fine. I was just busy yesterday." I said. Everyone calmed down and went back to their seats.

"Luce, are you ok? You smell really salty." Natsu came up to me. 'Oh crap after all the crying I forgot to shower!' I thought.

"Oh, u-umm.. I'm fine." Natsu didn't seem to convinced by it, and then suddenly I was being pulled by Natsu to who knows where. Once we stopped I realized that I was at Natsu and Happy's house. Natsu opened the door and we both sat on the couch.

"Luce, I know something is bothering you. You can tell me what it is and maybe I can help you." He said looking into my eyes, while I just looked down.

"I don't think you can this time, Natsu." I whispered but loud enough for him to hear it.

"Why? Whats wrong?" I thought about if I should tell him or not.

"The thing is......... StingwantstogobacktoSabertooth." I said quickly.

"Can you say it again. But slower this time?" Natsu said.

"I said that Sting wants to go back to Sabertooth. Where Yukino is." I added the last part.

"O-Oh..........It must be hard for you, huh?" He said.

"Yeah." I said.

"Have you already cried?"

"Yes." I said with my tears threatening to fall. "I was busy crying all day yesterday. That's why I didn't come to the guild."

"That makes more sense." I heard him whisper to himself. There was silence for a bit.

"Natsu?" I said breaking the silence.

"Yeah?" He said.

"Can you hug me? Like when we were on the beach last time?" He gave me his famous grins.

"Sure Luce." He came up to me and hugged me while I just started crying again.

"You might hate me for saying this Luce, but maybe him leaving is a good thing."

"W-Why?" I stopped crying and looked up at him.

"Well, last time you did say you wanted to get over him. So maybe him moving away will help you more."

"I gu-ess. But I can't help but feel sad."

"Don't worry you will feel happy again." He said to me.

"How do you know?" I asked.

"Because I felt the same way you are right now when you left Fairy Tail."

"Natsu.......Thanks for cheering me up." I smiled at him and he smiled back.

Timeskip Five Days

Right now Rogue, Sting and I were at the train station, saying our goodbyes to Sting.

"Rogue, take care of blondie." Sting said.

"You don't even have to tell me that." Rogue said.

"Sting, I will miss you." I said.

"Don't worry blondie I will visit you guys." He smiled. "Looks like it will be the Duo Dragon Slayers again. huh?" Sting looked up at the sky.

"Yeah." I said. Rogue and Sting shook hands while I just hugged Sting, but Sting gladly hugged me back. We heard the train coming and Sting got his luggage and started walking towards the train.

"Bye Sting." I whispered but he heard it with his sensitive hearing. He stopped and even thought his back was turned the other way I said his mouth turn into a smile a bit. And before he went through the train doors I heard him say,

"Bye, blondie." I smiled as soon as I heard that. We waited till the train was gone before we left, I looked towards Rogue he nodded and with that we walked back to the guild.
When we arrived at the guild I heard master's voice from the stage.

"Listen up brats! Today a member of the guild has left. And his name is Sting Eucliffe.I want you all to wish him a safe journey forever." As soon as master said that everyone looked towards me with a shocked and sad face.

"Don't worry guys I'm fine." I gave them the best smile I could, but deep inside I was crying. Even after the announcement everyone still gave me worried eyes.

"Lucy, are you sure you're ok with that?" Mira came up to me and asked.

"Yeah, he already told me a week ago so I'm fine." I said but she still looked really worried. "Sorry Mira, but I'm tired so I'm gonna go home."

"O-Ok, bye Lucy." I waved at her then ran back home.

As soon as I got home I ran to my bed crying.

"He really left now." I said to myself. "Bye Sting...." And with that I drifted into deep sleep.
