Lucy's POV

I was getting all the things ready for Sting and Yukino's date. That means I was running all over Akane Resort looking for the perfect restaurant for them and since this is their first date, I have to make it special.

After 1 hour I finally got everything for Sting and Yukino's date finished. And I was running back to to the hotel to rest until I bumped into someone. 

"Oww....sorry I wasn't looking." I looked up but as soon as I did I hoped I didn't.

"Luce? You ok?" Natsu held out a hand for to help me to stand up. But I just smacked it away and stood up on my own, then I tried to walk away but a hand grabbed on to mine.

"Luce, I know you're mad at me but can we talk?" He said holding my hand tighter.

"Fine. But only for 5 minutes." I said giving up.

"Look Lucy, I'm sorry for saying those things about you. I was really stupid then but please, now that you have come back please forgive me and the rest of Fairy Tail for what we did to you back then. You don't have to forgive me but please at least forgive everyone else in the guild. Please." He bowed at me.

"Natsu......" I continued. *sigh* "Are you guys really that sorry?"

"Yeah."

"Fine I accept your apology. But please don't do anything like that again." I smiled at him.

"Luce....." His eyes started to tear up. "I promise I won't do anything like that ever again." He grinned at me and then hugged me.

"Ok now that that's settled. You wanna come with me to spy on Sting and Yukino's date later?" I asked him.

"Sure."

"But right now I have to go back to the room to tell Sting something. So meet me back here in 2 hours and don't tell anyone about the spying. Bye." I waved at him then walked back to the hotel room.

I walked in to find Sting and Yukino talking and laughing about something.

"Get your own room, you two." I joked.

"Lucy, Yukino and I are officially together." Sting said. I felt like I was supposed to be happy, but for some reason, instead of feeling happy I felt a there was a lump in my throat and pain in my chest as soon as he said that. But even though I still did my best to put on a smile for them.

"That's great you two. But Sting can I talk to you in the hallway for a sec."
I said gesturing him outside.

"Sure." We both walked outside and I started talking.

"Ok I got everything for your date ready and here's the address for the restaurant your taking her too." I said giving him a piece of paper. "And guess what, I finally accepted Natsu's apology and we're friends again."

"But he's not your best friend right?"

"You know you and Rogue will always be my best friend." I said. Sting sighed in relief.

"Anyway have fun on the date later." I walked away from him but for some reason I felt like a sword stabbed my heart.

Timeskip 2 hours 

I walked around everywhere for almost 2 hours then I went to meet up with Natsu to spy on Sting's date.

I went to the place before, and saw Natsu there waiting.

"Natsu!!" I ran towards him.

"Luce!"

"Sorry did you wait long?"

"No, I just got here a couple of minutes ago."

"Anyway let get going I need to find them first." I started walking away in the direction of the hotel.

"Luce!! Wait up!" Natsu caught up with me.

We arrived at the hotel just in time because once we got to the front entrance we saw Sting and Yukino walking out. 

Natsu and I followed them behind bushes. It turns out that Sting actually knows how to be a gentlemen sometimes, because he bought Yukino some roses. They were finally starting to go to the restaurant after walking around for 30 minutes.

'There is no way in hell I will ever follow anyone again. My feet hurt like hell.' I said sitting down.

"Luce, I'm hungry." Natsu whined.

"Wait a bit more, we can eat at the restaurant later. Now come on we're gonna lose them."
We finally got to the restaurant after 10 more minutes of walking. Natsu and I sat at the table furthest from them but we can still see them.

"Hi, what would you cute couple like to order?" A waitress asked.

"Oh, no, we're not a couple." I said blushing.

"Awww...too bad I thought you were a couple like those two over there." She pointed over at Sting and Yukino. "So anyway what would you two like to order?"

"Umm... can I please have the chicken salad."

"And I'll have 2 egg omelet, 2 bowls of ramen and 3 plates of streak." I sweat dropped at Natsu's order and so did the waitress.

"C-coming right up." She walked away, smiling awkwardly.

We both finished dinner and so did Sting and Yukino. I paid and immediately followed Sting. Sting took Yukino to the beach and they started walking around holding hands.

They suddenly stopped and they both faced each other. Their faces were leaning into each other and again there was a sword through my heart and a lump in my throat. I turned around immediately.

"Natsu, lets go. I think he'll be fine now." I said looking away from them.

"Ok, Luce." We walked away from them, I turned back once only to see them kissing. For some reason it felt like my heart shattered once I saw that scene.

I felt tears running down my cheeks. Natsu realized because he stopped and pulled me in to a hug.

"N-Natsu?" I managed to say.

"Shuuuu.... Luce, you love Sting right?" I heard him ask.

"N-No I don-" I was cut off by Natsu saying,

"Yes you do! I know how you feel because when I saw you with Sting, and being so friendly with him, I felt like my heart shattered as well. That's how you feel now right?"

"Y-yeah."

"See you love Sting. But you didn't even realize your own feelings and before you notice it you have given him away."

"Your right." I looked down at the floor.

"But, if you're ever gonna get past these feelings, you have to do one thing and you know what it is."

"You right I have to tell him how I really feel."

"Yep." Natsu shook his head approvingly.

"What happened to the dense Natsu I knew?" I laughed.

"Let's just say he learn't a lot of things from Mira while you were gone." I gave Natsu one last hug before we walked back to the hotel room.
