"You're quitting?" Daisy asked in shock as (Y/n) grimaced while holding her phone tightly, guilt washing over her as she sat on her sofa and hugged her knees to her chest.

"Yeah..." She said quietly, "I wanted to give you my two weeks notice but I just haven't found the time."

"Why though?" Daisy asked, (Y/n) could already see the sad look that comes across her usually cheerful face.

'I can't just tell her what happened. Well, I can. But Eddie and Daisy are really good friends. But he could hurt Daisy too if I don't say anything.... But he could hurt me if I say something-Urgh! Why did this have to happen to me?!'

"I um..." She bit her lip in thought, "Something came up and I'm not gonna be able to come back. I'm sorry for leaving so suddenly." Daisy sighs on the other side of the phone.

"It's alright, I understand."

"Thanks, Daisy." (Y/n) said softly, "For understanding..."

"Are you okay, (Y/n)? You don't sound too well. Did something happen yesterday or something?" She asked, worry in her voice. Images of the night before flashed in her mind and she grimaced as her eyes teared up.

"N-No. I'm fine." She lied with small smile even though Daisy couldn't see it, "Just didn't sleep well last night is all."

"Do you wanna talk about it?"

"Not really. I'll be fine, I promise." (Y/n) said as a few tears slipped down her cheeks. There's a short pause on the line before Daisy is heard sighing softly.

"Alright, if you say so. If you need someone to talk to, just know that I'm here for you." Daisy said as (Y/n) smiled sadly. Sniffing softly as a few tears drops rolled down her cheeks.

"Thanks, Daisy." She said as the two hang up and (Y/n) slowly brought the phone down from her ear, scrolling through her contacts and looking at Eddie's contact. Events of the night before repeated themselves over and over in her head, making (Y/n) bring her knees closer to her chest as more tears started to fall. She grimaced and deleted his contact, taking a deep and shaky breath as she held back a sob.

'Why...?'

" 'Why,' you ask? Why, because I love you, darling. That's why!"

'Why me?'

"You were special from the start..."

'Why did this have to happen to ME?!'

"I love you so much. I love you. I..."

"Fucking WHY?!?" She shrieked angrily while chucking her phone at the wall as it smashed against the wall with a crack. (Y/n) gripped the sides of her head tightly by her hair, letting out choked and broken sobs as tears streamed down her face. She cried hard as she pressed her forehead against her knees and her body shook. "W-Why....? Why why why....?!" (Y/n) sobbed out weakly as she curled up into a ball.

'I could still see him... No matter how much I close my eyes to forget him he's there in my mind! So clear and vivid. I could still feel his hands on me. I could still hear his voice.'

She cried even harder.

'Why did it have to be like this? Why did he have to be like this? Why did I fall for him so hard? Why did he do this to me?'

"You're so... Naive and gullible. And your pure innocence is what drives me absolutely insane for you, darling."

(Y/n)'s cries paused for a moment as she thought his words over. Tears rolling down her face as she stared at her wall.

"Naive and gullible..."

'That's right... Because I let my feelings get the best of me... I let myself fall for him. I did this to myself.'

"I'm so fucking stupid..." She said shakily while resting her forehead against her knees, "To think that he was perfect. God..." (Y/n) sniffed and wiped her face from her tears with the back of her sleeves before standing up and walking over to pick up her phone. "He would've been perfect... If he wasn't so fucking crazy." She mumbled as she wiped the stray tears away and running her fingers over the cracked screen of her phone.

"Hm... Is that so?" An amused voice chuckled as he sat next to the windowsill of her apartment, sitting on the metal railing of the fire escape. He hummed as he quietly got up and climbed down, sliding down the ladder and landing on his feet. Eddie stared up at her window with a black hoodie on with his hood up, the scars on his face from the night before bandaged. A smile rose onto his face, "I'm only crazy for you, darling." He said as he placed his fingers from both of his hands on his lips and kissing them softly before parting them in her window's direction, "Because you're mine as much as I am yours, my love." He chuckled lowly as a smirk formed on his lips, he slipped his hands into his pockets and started to back away with a hum, "Oh, (Y/n) my darling, until the time is right, I'll be back to take you home." He sighed dreamily before turning on his heels and walking off, whistling softly.

One week later...

(Y/n) had started to feel better since that day Eddie took her. She got a job a bit further from her apartment which made her have to take the train to work once more. But it worked better since she didn't have to go anywhere near where she worked previously. Even though she had continuous night terrors since the night she escaped, she tried her hardest to forget what happened. To forget what she had gone through in just one night. To forget him. It made her a little sad though since she couldn't visit Daisy because of her fear of running into Eddie. But she made sure to stay in contact with her and it always made her relieved to see or hear her safe and away from danger. Miles Upshur still kept in contact with her every now and again, but she never told Miles who the person behind all the kidnappings were. Everytime she was close to telling Miles, Eddie's face would pop up into her mind either sad or angry and either sadness or fear would prevent her from telling the journalist. But there was also a feeling she had that prevented her from speaking out, but she always pushed it back down as she has avoided that feeling for a week now.

But as the days went on, when she started to once feel safe, she then started to feel like she was being watched or even followed around. So it put her on edge and made her a very paranoid type of person as she would constantly look around her surroundings, even when she was at home. Until one day, on her train ride to work one morning, put her on edge even more than normal.

It was a regular morning and the train was crowded, so when (Y/n) got onto the train, she was stuck standing next to the door. She stared her eyes out the window and sighed softly watching everything pass by before she noticed the reflection of a hooded man squeezing himself through the crowd and suddenly she was pushed against the window of the door. She was about to gasp out and tell the man off before the voice whispered into her ear made her freeze up and pale instantly.

"Hello there, darling~," the voice purred deeply into her ear, causing a shiver to run throughout her body and making her tremble in fear, "Long time no see, hm? And don't even try to scream out. We're just a couple getting close, got it?" He threatened and she nodded shakily, a small whimper falling from her lips as she tried to calm down and not cry.

"W-What are you doing h-here...?" She choked out barely in a whisper shakily. This caused him to chuckle lowly into her ear as he nuzzled the side of her head.

"To see you of course," He hummed softly as he started to place soft kisses on her ear and cheek while pressing his much taller body into her back and push her against the door more, making her breath shakily against the glass, "Do you have any idea how much I miss you, my love? How muchI long and yearn for you?" With every word he started to press himself against her rear and grind a bit as to not draw too much attention as he caged her between himself and the door, "Can you imagine it, darling? Me fucking you against this door with all these people around?" He said lowly in a sultry and velvety voice that caused her to both melt and tremble.

"E-Eddie..." She whimpered, "S-Stop..."

"Or what?" He sneered into her ear while nipping at the outline of it, "I know where you live, darling. Where you work now. Where your family and friends live." He drawled out as he continued to grind against her slowly, her eyes widened at his words and she bites her lip to hold back from crying or screaming out of fear. "So if you even try to get authorities on me, I'll make quick work of the people you hold oh so dear, my love."

"You monster..." She murmured shakily.

"A monster? Me? Oh no no no no, I'm anything but." Eddie sighed into her ear as he nuzzled his nose against her hair and took a longing sniff and letting out a shuddering but content sigh, "I just want you to notice and accept my undying love for you. I just want to be back into your life... back into you," He murmured with a slight thrust against her rear, making a slight squeak of surprise and gasp to come out of her, "I just want you to bring me back in and let me love you because you deserve every bit of it. You don't understand, I'll do anything for you. I'll die for you. I'll even kill for you. Because I love you so so so much. I want you to be mine again because I'm yours forever and always." He purred softly, his words making both her heart flutter and her stomach churn. She bites her lips together as she tries to distract herself from Eddie's consistent grinding and sugar coated words, trying to remind herself that he's been close to killing her on so many occasions. The announcement on the train said that they were getting close to their stop and Eddie smirks as he reached to turn (Y/n)'s head so she could look at him. Her eyes widened to see that the injury she gave him left large scabs on one half of his face that would most likely scar his charming face.

Eddie leans his face close to hers that his lips brushed against hers, "Think over this, darling, and you'll know what to do when you finally come around." He murmured softly against her lips before kissing her softly, this makes her heart beat faster and her stomach butterflies flutter with a blush on her cheeks. The train soon comes to a stop and there's a ding that's heard before the doors slide open. Making (Y/n) almost fall out since she was originally pressed against them before Eddie caught her as they stepped onto the platform. He stared down at her with his baby blue eyes that she had fallen in love with all those months ago as he smiled softly, "Think about it, and I'll see you again soon," He said with one more kiss to her lips, "My beautiful bride..." He purred before he let her go and walked off, leaving her in a daze and standing there by herself. When she snapped back into reality and spin around to see if she could spot him, he was already out of sight. This left her standing there, unsure of what to do.

But fear for her life once again.
