Percy

Over the next week I spoke to Luke more and more. I realised how bitter he was. And I realised that I was just as bitter as he was.

"Luke you really don't need to be so bitter towards the gods." I told him, "They just want us to help them, plus the TITANS are bad news, you've got to realise that."

Luke didn't reply for a while, "I guess, look, Percy I'm sorry about killing you."

The place where Luke's knife had pierced my chest prickled, reminding him of the incident.

"That's okay, you didn't properly kill me, you only slightly traumatised my wife."

"It's great that we can joke about it now," Luke laughed.

I grinned, "Luke, do you want to come and see the training room?" I asked him.

Luke was silent once again for a while, "Yes." He finally said, "I think I would."

"C'mon then." I stood up and walked to the door, I pulled it open and gestured for him to follow me.

Luke got to his feet and hesitantly moved towards the door, before following me. We made our way up towards the training room where the rest of the thirteen were in the middle of a training session.

We walked in and almost immediately a fire ball was thrown at Luke. He moved with incredible speed, inhumanly fast. If he hadn't his face would have been melted off.

Everyone looked at Luke, gawping. But I wasn't focused on what was going on around me.

It felt like a dam had broken in my mind, I felt my veins flowing with power that I had never felt before. I could feel the ground moving 100 floors below, tectonic plates shifting. But in the forefront of my mind I could feel water. Flowing through pipes and even as far away as the Hudson River.

I could feel pressure building up within me.

"Percy?" I heard Annabeth ask, "Are you okay?" The pressure was becoming too much, I could feel that it was about to explode. My head hurt.

And then it exploded. Water flowed from everywhere. It swept everyone in the room up. 15 bodies, no sixteen including myself were all swimming, no being pulled by the rapids that the quick flowing water was creating.

My head still hurt, but with every second the pain was lessening. Quickly it became bearable, and then comfortable, and then it was gone.

I noticed that I wasn't at all wet, which was strange seen as I was submerged in water. The water began to flow back into the pipes, I hadn't realised that the ground had been shaking below us, but that stopped.

Once the water had full drained from the room everyone was dripping wet and glaring at me. That is everyone apart from Poseidon.

He stood there smiling.

"Sorry!" I looked around at everyone, "It was an accident."

Annabeth pushed her sopping hair out of her face and put her hands on her hips, "Yer Seaweed Brain, we kind of figured that."

"What the hell just happened?" Thalia demanded of Poseidon.

"Luke discovered his powers," Poseidon said, "and because Percy is the heir to the crown of Olympus his powers were locked away, building in strength until all of the rest of the thirteen had discovered their powers."

"So that's why my head hurt like that?" I asked.

"Yes," Poseidon nodded, "And now you're all ready to take the TITANS down."
