Annabeth

Percy slept in the corridor that night. It was the first time we had purposefully slept apart. I had nightmares that night.

Luke stabbed Percy again and again and again, laughing as he did so.

I stood in my wedding dress looking out over all of my dead friends and family. I looked down to my feet and saw Percy lying dead at my feet with a bullet wound through is forehead.

Blood pooled around him and stained the hem of my dress as I wept over his body.

I jolted awake and sat up in bed. I glanced down and saw that my hands were flickering in and out of visibility.

I squeezed my eyes closed and tried to clear my mind of the images from my dreams.

I opened my eyes and glanced at my hand again, to see that it was solid again.

I got to my feet and stuck my head out of the door. I spotted Percy curled up in a blanket on the floor.

I sat down next to him and wiggled my way into the blanket. He put his arms around me and immediately drifted off to sleep.

In the morning I woke up with an achy neck and a dead arm, but I had still had a good night's sleep.

Percy was still asleep. The argument that we had the night before came rushing back, but it didn't seem to matter. I knew with a renewed strength that I loved Percy. With my entire soul.

I unlaced his arms from around me, and got to my feet, I brushed myself off and walked back into our room.

I quickly got dressed and sat on the bed, with my laptop resting on my lap. I decided to go through the email chains that had be steadily filling up my inbox since I hacked the TITAN's systems to copy me into all of the emails.

One email drew my attention more than any of the others.

Hazel

Annabeth walked into the training room with a renewed purpose that morning. Percy was nowhere to be seen and I couldn't help but wonder if they were still fighting (we had all heard their argument last night). Thalia also seemed to be missing.

We began training soon after Annabeth arrived, but Percy never showed up, neither did Thalia. Not until just before we took our lunch break.

Percy and Thaliaa strode into the room with massive grins on their faces. Thalia and Annabeth made eye contact and Thalia nodded and mouthed something at Annabeth.

Annabeth looked at all of us.

"In two months the TITANS are holding a sort of summit of all of their leaders in the Empire State Building. I'm pretty sure this will be our best chance to take them down." Annabeth told us.

"When did you find this out?" I asked.

"This morning, I received an email meant for the TITAN Kronos." Annabeth replied, "The location we got out of Luke."

"So what do we do?" Jason asked.

"We train harder." Percy replied. "And we take these asshats down."
