Charlotte P.O.V. (surprise)

After a while, Emily and Leah started cooking while I stayed with the boys. I mostly just sat and watched while everyone talked. I smile a little to myself realizing this is the first family I've been with who hasn't tried to hurt me.

"Whatcha thinking little wolf?" I hear Seth ask me. I look up at him and giggle a little. I curl up to him more while chewing on my shirt sleeve. (It's long sleeved.) I really like Seth because he's really nice. I guess he's pretty brotherly and I like that a lot.

I hear others chuckle and resume talking. I see Sam come over and sit by us. "Why are you chewing on your shirt sleeve?" He asks me softly.

I kinda shrug then quietly say, "it's very comforting." I go back to chewing on it hoping that it will be ok with Emily. Sam nods a little bit and looks to be in thought. I shrug a little and curl up to Seth. I try very hard to stay awake but I can't help drift off into the darkness.

Third P.O.V 

As everyone talks, Seth realizes that the little girl had fallen asleep in his arms. He can't help but smile proudly at this accomplishment.

Sam into the kitchen and goes over to Emily and Leah. "So, little Seth has a friend."

"Oh, is that so?" Emily asks with a soft smile. 

"Looks like she is going to be a heart breaker when she's older," Leah smirks some knowing this will get to Sam.

"Nope. No boys. No no no." Sam says while shakeing his head.

"How about girls?" Emily says jokingly. Not caring if she does bring a girl or boy home.

Sam takes a second to think about it then says, "nope. No dating. No dating boys. No dating girls. No dating at all. Not till she's.... 30." Emily and Leah can't help but laugh at how protective sam is already being over the young girl.

"Whatever you say honey," Emily says as she kisses his cheek softly. "In other news, the cullens invited the pack over to hang out sometime. Maybe have a bonfire. I think it would be nice for us and Charlotte."

Sam smiles a little and nods, "yeah. I think it'd be fun to go over there. Who knows. Maybe it might rain so we can play some baseball." Emily gives him the look that basically says 'what about charlotte'. "Okay, okay," Sam says as he raises his hands in surrender. "It was just a thought."

Emily rolls her eyes and smiles some. "And speaking of the Cullens, Charlotte has her first appointment with Carlisle this week. So we can get her the shots she needs and other things."

Sam nods some and says, "Okay, good. She kinda acted... I don't know how to say it."

"Kinda off," Leah says some. "Who knows she could have autism or a disorder caused by other homes she's been in."

Emily and Sam nod some. Thinking this over. "We'll get her the help she needs and love her no matter what," Sam says confidently. After they hug a little and Leah making jokes about the two lovebirds, they finally get dinner made

The guys all run in eating like a pack of wolves. (Oh wait.) Seth still holds Charlotte close and eats quietly so he doesn't wake her up. After a bit, she finally wakes up and Seth helps her get some food. The night goes very well, and Charlotte can't help but feel something she has rarely felt. Love.

After dinner, Sam and Emily tuck little Charlotte into bed. Emily read her a bedtime story and Sam made sure to check for any monsters. When they were sure she was asleep, the pack went for a run in their wolf forms. Little did they know that someone was watching them while they all changed into their wolf forms.

In honor of me having a severe anxiety attack, here's an update. Probably the last one because no one actually likes this story so it will most likely be deleted. Oh well.
