Chapter 4

It was Jin's turn to be confused. "I'm sorry, is there any reason why you're here?" She didn't answer, instead closing the door behind her, and then walking up to Jin with a pretty smile on her face that spelled fishy to him.

"So, you're a really bad man for you to be down here, aren't you?" Her dark hair swayed over her shoulder as she leaned across the table. Jin noticed how she squeezed her arms together, making her breasts slightly bumpier and desirable. To his disliking and lack of response, he looked back up at her smirked face. "You know, I think bad boys are pretty hot..."

"I'm sorry; I don't think I am interested."

"C'mon, I've noticed those really thick shoulders of yours... And I think they look pretty scratchable." She purred, getting closer.

Cursing his cuffed hands, he didn't really think this was very alluring. "Are you trying to be a slut to bait me in? Don't you have Namjoon for that?"

"Tsk," She laughed, "His body is amazing. You look pretty swell, too. I'm just here to have a little fun," She winked, placing a hand over his. Jin stared at it, unsure what to think of this. He simply didn't feel things like love, so her actions were really pointless.

"No thank you." He smiled. She nearly tripped over the way he smoothly passed by her movements, however cleared her throat to get herself back in check. Even though she was getting a little pissed.

"Look, you don't have a choice, big boy. You're chained up here; you can't do anything about it." She moved her way around the table, ready to do something to Jin, yet he didn't know what. Because his hands were chained, he was in a vulnerable spot, and so, using this vulnerability, she moved the table a little and sat on his lap, both legs spread out on his sides.

Her hands trailed up his thick chest, looking into his eyes while she did so. "I know you like this," She started, licking her lips. She looked down at his lips, then back up at his eyes. That's when she noticed how sinister they seemed to be at this very moment.

"Do you hurt Namjoon like this?"

She rolled her eyes, "He's a beautiful man. And so are you. Is it wrong to have a little fun? I think we can keep it a little secret." She winked, though her smirk was all gone because she felt uncomfortable with the presence surrounding this room.

He was cold, glaring daggers into her. "I don't think you understand. I can, and will hurt you if you don't get off." If it was even possible, she somehow felt so small, being stared down like that. It gave her chills she couldn't fight off. There was something extremely off in his eyes...

He could feel her trembling legs on his lap. He didn't feel victorious and he didn't feel bad about it. This woman was just as rotten as he was, if they were to compare normal morals against immoral ones, as seen by society. He watched her slide off of his legs, wiping her hair out of her face.

"You..." She started, staring at him with anger bubbling inside.

Jin only stared, now curious. He knew he got under her skin, which made him feel a little amused, he knew that. Then they both heard the door open out of nowhere, and without any warning, Jin felt something harsh against his cheek. It echoed in the room clearly, having Namjoon second guessing what had just happened.

"DON'T TOUCH ME!" She yelled, staring at Jin with wide, horrified eyes. She backed away, her hands crawling against her shaking arms as she ran into Namjoon, who wrapped his arms round her and asked if she was okay. Jin slowly turned to look at her, already understanding how she was trying to manipulate the situation.

"H-He tried touching me!" She gasped, looking at Jin. The boy stared back at her, then up at Namjoon, who was studying him with a frown. Jin didn't do anything wrong. Either way, it seemed like he was going to be blamed.

"Calm down, sweetie." He said, "Why were you in here in the first place?"

"I-I," She looked at Jin, "I wanted to surprise you, but then I met him! He told me to come closer, I just was being nice so I asked if he needed anything and-and then he tried..."

"Why did you come to see me?" He asked, pulling her away. From Jin's distance, he could see her whisper something in his ear, and then seeing his dissatisfied face. Jin didn't quite understand what she told him, but he could hear their audible conversation afterwards.

"I'm working right now."

"But I want you~"

"I need to talk to Jin."

"You can wait, can't you, baby? Just a little bit?"

She was exactly like poison.

If this was how she treated Namjoon behind his back... How many people has she slept with?

"Wait outside." He pulled her out of the room, closing the door behind her. Namjoon rubbed his face, sitting back into his seat and tried to regain his posture as he stared at Jin. "Anything you have to say?"

Jin looked over at the door, and then back at Namjoon. Why did Jin want to be believed in? He always did, but he usually just let it pass and packed his emotions down. This time... He didn't.

"Nothing?" Namjoon asked. To Jin, he knew it was useless to say anything anyway. Going by logic, the boyfriend should trust the girlfriend more than the attacker. With a sigh, Namjoon's arm moved closer to Jin. Jin closed his eyes because he knew a slap was coming once again. "She really hit you hard."

Jin gasped when he felt something warm against his tender, bruising cheek. Slowly opening his tired eyes, the brown haired boy stared at Namjoon's thumb, brushing against his skin. He then stared at Namjoon, staggered. It was weird; Jin didn't know what was happening, but he knew there was something off going on within him...

What was this feeling?

"What are you doing, Officer? Aren't you being too touchy?" He tried getting the Officer to stop before he could feel whatever it was again.

"Ah..." Namjoon's eyes broadened and he drew his hand back. "I was only checking to make sure if you were okay. She really did hit you hard, even if she tells me you touched her, this is..."

That question was never asked to him before. Hearing it was very strange, yet he only answered with a contradictory response. "I'm used to it." He looked down, realizing what he had just said. Quickly thinking of something else to say, he smiled and looked back at Namjoon, holding his hands together. "My mother was raped."

That's so much better, Jin.

He watched as Namjoon became speechless. "I can tell you about my mother for now." He shrugged, "She committed suicide after she gave birth to me. Her family shamed her to the point of break. Pretty eccentric, isn't it?" The dirty blond haired boy swallowed dryly, brushing the back of his neck.

Jin stared at the boy with his smile, keeping in uncomfortable like this on purpose. "Anything you have to say?" He flipped the tables on him, using what he had said before back on him. "Nothing?" Namjoon let a soft laugh out, yet there was still a hint of gawkiness there.

"Let's take a break." Namjoon stood up and unlocked the cuffs, making Jin stand up, thinking he had a misunderstanding. "I'm so sorry."

"For what?"

"Well, I feel like I've been abusing my 'cop powers' with you. You can keep staying at my house, if you don't have anywhere to go. I'm still keeping an eye on you with your story, though... Since you still don't have an identity. You're just too suspicious."

The cops here were idiots. They didn't even recognize Jin's face – maybe there really isn't a face to go along with his attempted murder. Or maybe... Jungkook didn't say anything? He leaned in, so that their faces were just inches apart. Though Namjoon stared, feeling a little scared from the unexpected cold deepness in Jin's eyes.

"Officer Namjoon, you're too nice for a cop. It'll get you in trouble one day."

He walked to the door, opened it, and looked at the woman who stared back at him with disgust. Jin remembered the sting on his cheek and frowned at her, not liking this woman at all. Watching her influencing eyes made him twitch... He could feel something stir up inside of him, something that made him want to do violent things to this woman.

"Hey babe, we're done." She looked nervous and waddled up to Namjoon, holding his hand as if Jin was some dangerous man. Well, he was, but that was beyond the point. "After tonight, he's staying with us for a while." At the sound of that, Hyeon's eyes grew out of her sockets in disbelief.

"He's what?!" She looked at Jin who smirked at her, "He's a criminal, and he's going to stay with us again!? Did you not see what he did to me??!"

To Jin, sleeping anywhere but that dark jail cell was good for him. And he could hide easier this way, too. Moreover, he'd be able to help other children... If he could find any. "I promise I will be good. I can make food every day; I can clean the house, too. I can be useful around the house." He bowed. Hyeon glared at him, very much unimpressed with him.

"He's still a suspect. And..." Namjoon looked at Jin, "... He needs help." Jin's eyes fluttered instinctively.

I need help?

He scoffed as he started walking away. "I don't need help."

Namjoon convinced his girlfriend to stay at home after. He was thankful he wasn't around her right now, because he really did have some work to do. Jin was in the cell, but he didn't really mind. There were lights so he was okay.

Even so, he couldn't stop thinking about many, many things that made him frustrated. Jimin being one of them. Jin threw his phone away weeks ago, so nobody would be able to track him. He wished he had it right now and text him...

This feeling... He never knew he would be able to have it. Placing a hand against his chest naturally, he stared at it with confusion. He... He missed Jimin. He missed being near him. Jin was surprised he actually missed something.

And it hurt.

He didn't realize how much it would hurt. The brown haired boy squeezed his fingers into his shirt. His hand was doing this on its own... Because he missed somebody? Jin remembered when Jimin would do this sometimes, yet he never understood why.

"Jimin, what are you doing?"

Jimin stopped what he was doing, staring at Jin with an expressionless face. "Nothing."

Jin blinked, and then pointed at Jimin's little hand. "Why did you do that? With your hand?"

Jimin tsked while rolling his eyes, putting Jin's hand on his chest. Jin stared, unsure why he would do such a thing. "You do this when your heart hurts." Jimin let go of his hand and walked away, leaving Jin to contemplate what he had said, staring at his own hand.

Now he understood.

He didn't like it. His brows traced together, now thinking about his relationship, starting to regret what he had done. Was this how Jimin felt with Yoongi...?

  ஐஐஐஐ

oooo is jin really starting to understand human emotion???

will he change? will he stay the same?
