Millie's P.O.V

1 year later...

As I walk through the crowded halls I felt two familiar arms wrap around my waist lifting me up in the air. I giggle with excitement hearing a deep chuckle behind me that give me butterflies every time I hear it. Once I was set back down I turn around seeing Finn with a wide smile on his lips. I give him a quick peck on the lips and wrap my arms around his neck. 

"Hello, Wolfard,"

"Hello, Brown," He says with a smirk on his lips. He grabs my hand and wraps his fingers around my hand guiding me through the crowded hallway. 

"So did you like our show last night?" Finn asks as he carries my textbook. Finn and his band performed last night which I happily attended. For the past few months, I've been going to every single one of there shows and I love it.

"I loved it! I thought you weren't going to perform the Weezers?" I asked.

"Well, I wanted to surprise you," He said as he pulled me closer to him. I laughed at his actions.

"Well, It worked," I said with a wide smile on my lips. He quickly caught me off guard he placed his lips on mine. I smile and look away trying to hide my red cheeks. I look up seeing Maddie passing by sending me a small smile. I politely smile back and wave. The week after my father's funeral she came up to me and Finn apologizing for what she did wrong. 

I forgave her, it took a while for Finn to forgive her but eventually, he did. She later met someone that helped her get over Finn. She's now head over heels for him. I think his name is Jaeden Lieberher, not really sure. But I've passed by them in the hallway once in a while seeing them with locked hands which made me happy for her. We walked into the cafeteria seeing out a group of friends.

"Hey you two," Sadie said with her body leaning against Caleb. After my father's incident, Sadie told me that Caleb and she are officially together. Gaten and Grace are still happily together. The three of us would sometimes have sleepovers at Sadie's or Grace's place and sometimes even Noah's place. The boys would sometimes try and sneak in and listen to our conversations but we quickly kick them out.

"Hello," We both said in unison and took out seats. After my father's death, no one really knew where to put me. The police weren't really sure if they should place me in an orphanage. I told them that a friend is willing to let me stay at their place until things are fixed. More specifically my boyfriend. After a couple of months, I found out that one of my father's old friend lives in the same area as I do, his name is David. He and my dad go way back. 

They used to have a couple of classes together in high school and college. This was before his drunken stage. When he found out about my father's death, he was very devastated and shocked to find out that he had a daughter. So he gladly agreed to adopt me. He told me that my father was his only friend and that he did a lot for him. Adopting me was his way of saying thank you and he believed that he would 've wanted this to happen, and he's right. 

"So how was Finn's show?" Grace asked as she took a bite of her apple.

"It was amazing! His skills on the guitar were brilliant, you guys should've been there." I said. Everyone went back to there conversations as once I stopped bragging about Finn. 

Both Caleb and Gaten were arguing about which video game is the best while Sadie and Grace were just laughing at there boyfriends sometimes joining in their argument. Finn suddenly got up from his eat quickly grabbing my attention. 

"Where're you going?" I asked.

"Come on," He said as he grabbed my hand. We both walked through the hallway that had a couple of students standing around. Finn walks into the music room guiding me inside.

"What are we doing in here?" I asked. I look around seeing the room with several music stands all over the place with instrument cases lying around. I turn back to seeing Finn shutting the door and locking it. I raise an eyebrow at him. 

"If you're thinking what I'm thinking then no! we are not doing anything dirty in this classroom!" I said frustratedly which furiously blushing. A mischievous smirk was placed on his lips as he slowly started walking toward me. I slowly start backing away. 

"No Finn, we are not doing it in here!" I said angerly making him chuckle. I roll my eyes with annoyance. Every step he takes forward, I take one back. I was quickly trapped between the grand piano and Finn. He placed both his hands on the piano.

"Finn! Don't even think about it!" He quickly learned in making my breath hitch. He gently brushed his soft lips against my cheek and leans close to my ear. 

"I just wanted to hear you play," He softly whispers. I sigh with relief and pushed him off me making him chuckle at my reaction.

"Jesus Finn, you scared me!" I said as I walked up to the piano bench. I sat down with Finn sitting next to me. 

"What do you request," I asked as I stared at the black and white keys. Finn thought quietly. I quickly sat up finally deciding. 

"I Dare You by The xx." He said with a satisfied nod. I pursed my lips agreeing with the song. That song's pretty good but I never thought Finn would've picked that song.

"And you have to sing," I sigh with defeat.

"Come on," he said softly. 

"I love listening to your voice," he said leaning closer. 

"Fine," I said as I tried fighting the urge to kiss him. I slowly placed my hands on the black and white keys. I gently pressed the keys feeling the rhythm of the song. I close my eyes as I feel the keys against the tip of my fingers. The familiar sound caused me to sing the lyrics out loud. I swayed with the rhythm, feeling Finn's gaze on me. Once I reached the end of the song I slowly pulled my hands away from the keys. I open my eyes seeing a ridiculous smile on Finn's face.

"What?" I asked with an eyebrow raised. He quickly placed his lips against mine making me feel weak again. I wrapped my arms around him running my fingers through long curly hair. He slowly pulled away and leaned his head against mine and smiled.

"I love you, Millie Bobby Brown," I smiled.

"I love you two Finn Wolfhard,"

And that was how the clever Finn Wolfhard made the innocent Millie Bobby Brown no longer be innocent.
