I know! I came back really early with the next chapter, but I'm happy, had too much coffee and want to post more. I hope you all like it.

I have a little surprise at the end of the chapter! Believe me, it was a surprise for me too when I started writing it lmao, but it was fun. Regardless, I hope you all like it. Have fun, enjoy it.

Dumbledore watched the two teenagers stepping into his office through the fireplace with some amusement.

"I didn't expect you two for another hour or so, Mister Black, Miss Lupin," he said, raising his thick eyebrows to expose even more the gleam of his eyes.

"We are both exhausted from the dancing, Headmaster," Luna answered politely, while remaining friendly.

Regulus stared, almost as if Dumbledore wasn't supposed to be in his own office, or if he was forcing himself to notice him, making Dumbledore feel like a servant that had done something awfully wrong and was just at the level of notice of his master. Dumbledore had to look away from him before he showed how uncomfortable he was with the situation they were in.

Dumbledore turned to look at Luna, smiling at her, teeth and all.

"I'm certain that you'll want to go to bed and sleep now," he said. "Here's the notes in case you encounter any Prefects or professors in the way," he offered them the yellow paper. "May I trust that the both of you will go straight to bed and not promenade around the castle aimlessly for a mere few more moments of conversation? It's past midnight. Talk in the morning."

"Of course, Headmaster," Luna lied.

The three people in that room knew it was a lie, but none of them thought it was for the best to comment on it.

Dumbledore waved them through the study and, just like they had arrived, they were in the corridor just outside of the office.

Regulus reached for her hand, taking it into his without asking. She didn't complain, just turned to him and smiled.

"You will walk me to the Tower, won't you?" she asked.

He smirked.

"Am I going to waste the opportunity to promenade aimlessly with you afterhours just after we told the headmaster that we wouldn't do just that?" he asked. "Of course, I'm walking you to the end of the world, if you so request me, Luna. In exchange, a kiss shall be payment enough."

"Just one?"

"As many as you're willing to give me," he answered.

She bit into her bottom lip as she pulled him by his hand closer to her, not caring that they were at the very door (if the gargoyle could be considered a door) of the headmaster's study. Regulus didn't seem to care either, just looking down to put his lips over hers and kissing her bottom lip passionately, the hand that wasn't holding hers touching the side of her face and pulling her closer.

Luna let go of his hand, but before he could pull away or ask any questions her hands found the back of his neck, playing with his curls gently and putting her fingers in the midst of his hair, pulling him closer to her as well. Taking that as permission, he put his hand on her waist, both for balance and to use his free hand.

They were so close that Luna's skirts were on his legs, almost if they were trying to swallow him.

He pulled away very slightly to tell her that they needed to start walking, but Luna pulled him back to her lips. Her lips were parted, and so were his, so when they kissed again, it was different.

The first thing he noticed was that it was wet. The second thing is that her tongue was slipping into his mouth.

He pulled back.

Her eyes widened.

"I'm sorry. Did you not --?" she started, but stopped when she saw his confused face. There was realisation soon after. "Oh, yes... you never did it before, did you?"

"No."

"That's a French-kiss," she said.

"Oh."

He blinked. He had heard of it with other names – tongue-kiss, snogging, eating each other's faces and etc; he had known that tongues could be involved in kissing, but he had never thought much deeper in it. He had even seen some shameless couples snogging rather publicly, but he had not thought of watching it like a creep or, worse, fantasise about it like some embarrassing green-boy.

"Do you not want to do that?" she asked.

"I do," he said. "I was just caught by surprise. I don't know how to do that, and I might be bad at it."

She smiled.

"I can teach you," she said. "Let's go somewhere else. Somewhere we can be more comfortable."

Luna took his hand again, leading him through the corridors and stopping not too far away from the Ravenclaw Tower's stairs, right in front of a tapestry that was hiding a dark alcove. She moved the tapestry to the side and walked in, smiling at him and raising her eyebrows in a quiet invitation.

Regulus swallowed.

"We don't need to," she reminded him.

"I want to," he said, looking at her – the way her clavicles were showing and the way her long neck seemed majestic. "I really want to."

"Then come here," she whispered.

Her eyes were slightly hooded in the dark, glistening like a cat, happy with her presence and happy with his enthusiasm. She put her back against the stone wall behind her, giving him just enough space to get in with her. He walked in and dropped the tapestry – it was so dark that he could barely see her if not for the small streaks of light coming from near the ground.

"What do I do?" he asked.

"You'll kiss me, like you always did," she answered, gently finding his coat and pulling him close enough to make him sigh. He did kiss her. "When you're ready, part your lips."

Regulus kissed her lips with the same contained passion that he usually did and, before he was completely sure of what he was doing, he parted his lips. With that, Luna nudged his bottom lip with her tongue – he opened his lips wider, tilting his head to the side in instinct. She made a little noise of approval and sighed in delight at the feeling of running her tongue along his lips. He was surprised how good it felt.

She pulled apart a bit, letting him breathe.

"You can breathe through it, Regulus," she whispered.

It felt so intimate. The whispering so near his ear, the feeling of her breath against her skin, the taste of their saliva mixed in his mouth.

"It feels good," he whispered back.

She smiled to herself, arms going around his neck again, hugging him.

"It feels really good," she answered.

One of his hands rested against the stone wall behind her while the one went around her waist, bracing her whole body against his. The feeling of her warm body against his seemed to burn his skin even through all those layers of clothes.

"Let's try again," she said. "Let's go slow."

But it was barely worth saying so, because as soon as they were kissing again, Regulus' lips were parting and – this time – he also used his tongue against hers, sliding it against her tongue carefully.

The intensity grew faster than either anticipated, so by the time their hearts were racing in their chest and they pulled apart to breathe, Luna's legs were shaking from her position on her tip-toes, Regulus' neck was hurting from having to be slight bent down and they were both so tightly pressed against one another that their hearts and breaths seemed to be synchronised.

"You're a quick study," she teased. He leaned down, kissing her lips once more, quickly. "Are you alright?"

"More than alright," he said. He cleared his throat. "May I kiss you again?"

She hummed in agreement, knowing that he couldn't see her. Luna touched the side of his face, caressing it gently and feeling how hot it felt. He was blushed and he couldn't deny it, even though she couldn't see him.

Regulus, while they kissed, could only think that he could never focus on anything else ever again. How could he study and live on normally when he could be hiding in an alcove or in the library

It was the sudden light that made them turn to look at the entrance of the alcove.

Remus Lupin stood there with Lily Evans, both clearly taken aback by who they had just caught snogging in an alcove.

Lily made a little gasp, but kept silent otherwise.

At first, Remus had frozen because in the dark Regulus really looked like Sirius, but once Luna had not looked scared or ashamed for being caught, he looked at the boy twice and saw Regulus' burning red face and realised who it was. Then he froze because he had just caught his little sister snogging her boyfriend.

"Fucking hell," Remus complained.

"Good evening," Regulus choked out.

Lily turned to Remus.

"Do we... give detention?" Lily asked.

Regulus looked at Lily while his blush slowly disappeared with the same freezing coldness that his mother did at Luna.

"We have authorisation to be outside. We just got to the castle, and I was walking my partner back to her Tower," he said, suddenly as put together he usually was.

"Yes, I saw a lot of walking involved," Remus said, ironic.

"We're going!" Luna announced.

Not caring that the two prefects that caught her were people that knew her well, she took Regulus hand and struggled a bit to leave the alcove with her dress. She fixed her skirts before dragging Regulus along as she walked towards the Ravenclaw Tower – it was more about running away from the disgusted look in Remus' face than bringing Regulus to where she sleeps, however the implications were obvious by the way that Lily gave a nervous chuckle when Remus turned around and followed the young couple.

"Alright, none of that! You can't just drag a boy to your Common Room," Remus said, running after her.

"Oh, God. He's not going to jump into my bed, Remus," she said.

"Oh, Heavens," Regulus whispered to himself.

Lily and Regulus exchanged looks while Luna stopped walking in the stairs and turned to face her brother.

"Perhaps it's good if Regulus went to his own bed, then," Remus said.

Regulus gave a nod and slowly let go of Luna's hand.

"Your brother is right, Luna. It's late and it was a good night, lest we're caught in a compromising position that would certainly impose on your reputation. We had this conversation before," Regulus said. He ignored Remus' presence when he took her hand again to kiss the back of it. "I'll see you in the morning."

"Morning?" she asked, turning to him and raising her eyebrows.

"Afternoon," he corrected with a smile.

"Yes, afternoon," she said. Ignoring her brother as well, she pulled Regulus closed by his clothes and kissed his lips – at least it was a chaste, quick kiss. Remus forced a loud, dramatic cough. "You should go to bed, before my brother starts screaming."

"I'm going," he said, glancing at Remus as if to make sure he was overhearing their conversation. "Good evening, Luna, sleep well for you must be exhausted. Lupin, Evans, good evening."

Lily was the only one to answer his farewell as he walked away, though she looked hesitant to look away from Remus. Not that she feared that Remus would hurt his own sister, but his anger was something so rare to be seen so openly that she wasn't sure of what else to do but to stare.

"I'm going to bed now," Luna said, looking at Remus.

"How was it, the wedding?" he asked before she could step away.

"It went well. I danced, I talked – I didn't drink," she said. "I met a lot of people, a lot of Alchemist. Lady Black was certain to introduce so I'd have a good future once school was over. You know... networking."

"How very Slytherin," he said.

"What did you expect me to do if I wanted to go to a very known Slytherin area of magical science, Remus? Not act like a Slytherin from time to time?" she asked, rolling her eyes. "By the way, Lady Potter must be already home. Regulus and I came back earlier."

Remus didn't say anything about the couple's situation.

"Somebody else could've caught you. It was fairly obvious where you were," Remus warned her. "Be more careful next time."

"Will do," Luna said, smiling at him.

Remus huffed.

"Go to sleep!"

"Will do."

Lily was more confused now.

Though she had a sister, she knew that when she was angry, she wasn't kind enough to ask her to be careful neither would she ask her to go to sleep soon in concern for her health as Remus was doing. Usually, when angry at Petunia, she would tell her to go to hell or burn in hell, depending on how angry she was.

Those siblings were confusing.

Regulus slowly sat on his bed, yawning as he looked around to find most beds of the dormitory occupied still – Barty and Evan were both awake; Barty was reading, as he usually did when he was done with homework, but Evan was still struggling with his Charms' essay. However their other companion of the dorm was gone for the day, certainly seeing his girlfriend, as he usually did.

"Good morning," Evan said, glancing up at Regulus. "You look rested."

"I did sleep for almost 10 hours. One would expect one would look well rested," Regulus said.

"Did you really come back to Hogwarts early to sleep, Reggie?" Evan asked.

"Don't call me Reggie," Regulus said, getting up and scratching his ribs under his shirt.

Evan rolled his eyes.

"You did leave awfully early," Barty agreed, looking up from his book and sitting straight on the bed. "Did you come back here, leave Luna at the Tower's door and came back here to sleep? You were already out by the time we came back."

Regulus cheeks coloured as he walked to the bathroom, but it wasn't quick enough for his friends not to see it.

Evan howled in excitement and jumped off his bed, ignoring how his essay got smudged with the still fresh ink of his words. Barty smiled and marked his book's page before slipping out of his covers, running to the bathroom door to watch Regulus glare at him and Evan while getting his toothbrush.

"What happened?" Evan asked.

"I don't kiss and tell," Regulus dismissed.

"So... there was kissing," Evan said, turning Barty as if they were trying to agree on a hypothesis.

"Oh, certainly there was a kissing. But there's usually a bit of kissing during their interactions, and a lot of handholding," Barty reminded Evan.

Evan gave a nod, humming like someone deep in thought. He mumbled under his breath before gasping and turning to Barty again.

"Snogging?" he guessed.

Barty's smile grew.

"Snogging!" he agreed.

Regulus choked on his toothpaste.

Evan gave a scream of 'yes!' in celebration, jumping on Barty's arms and dragging him into a hug, making him jump up and down with him. Evan didn't seem to mind that he was shirtless, but Barty was painfully aware of such a thing.

"Our boy had his first real kiss, Barty. I feel like a proud father!" Evan said. He walked into the bathroom, slapping Regulus' back as he coughed and sputtered on the sink. "Soon enough, I'll be hearing about their –"

"You won't be hearing anything!" Regulus managed to say. "I don't brag. It's on the contract."

Evan frowned.

"Alright, then don't brag about it, Regulus. We're your friends, we're here to give advice if you want it," Evan explained.

Regulus spat before rising his mouth and turning to his friends.

"Alright, then. There was a snogging, and I was very confused," he said.

Barty frowned as well, walking into the bathroom. "Why? You didn't like it?" he asked.

"Of course I liked it! It was amazing," Regulus said. "The thing is... I didn't know what to do and I had to ask Luna for help."

Barty shrugged.

"That's alright," he said. "Plenty of people need guidance in their first time. I did. Had it not been for – let me think of a fake name – John Smith (that's an awful name) telling me what to do, it would've been a lot more embarrassing," Barty said, grumbling some of the part of the sentence under his breath.

Evan turned to him sharply.

"I thought you never kissed anyone before. I thought that's why you were so interested in books," Evan admitted.

"I do have some fun, Evan. The difference is that mine are mostly closeted like me, so it's safer to just not tell anyone," Barty explained. "But I do snog a lot."

"Like that John Smith bloke."

"Like John bloody Smith," Barty agreed, annoyed and turning to Regulus again. "Regardless of who I snog. Regulus... you did well in asking for guidance."

Regulus nodded, trying his best to ignore how his face burned.

"I was starting to get it when we were interrupted and we had to part ways," he said. "But it felt nice... I mean, it felt really good. However, I didn't know what to do with my hands most of the time."

Evan turned to Barty, waiting for his answer.

"Men are different," Barty said, apologetic. "But you can always touch her face and waist, some like touching in the hips."

Evan nodded along, clearly agreeing with Barty's surprising expertise.

"And if you don't get mad at me for saying this: you can touch her breasts, legs and arse if she lets you," Evan added. "But... that's more advanced, for now Barty's right – face, waist and hips. They're neutral. If you're caught, it's just a snog, but if you're touching somewhere else it might appear more, so detention is usually longer."

Barty raised his eyebrows at Evan. Evan smiled at him and shrugged.

"I feel like I should have parchment and ink for this conversation," Regulus whispered to himself.

Extra:

Orion Black wasn't stupid. He could see the way his wife was looking at him carefully, measuring his movements as she prepared herself for the best opportunity to ask him or tell him something. She did it for days before she had announced she was pregnant with Sirius. She didn't when she announced Nova, telling him as soon as she found out. She took weeks to announce Regulus' pregnancy to him, scared she would get his hopes up again and disappoint him with a stillborn. But they were older now, more intimate now – he could read her as well as he could read his own reflection.

"What is it, Bria?" he asked, already exhausted.

It was past two in the morning.

"Druella was drunk," she said.

"I know, Cygnus told me," he dismissed.

"She engaged in activities with the young man she has been seeing," Walburga said.

"I'd imagine so by Cygnus terrible mood the last couple of weeks," Orion said.

As they got to their bedroom, it was no surprise that she immediately went to sit on the bed, undoing the buttons of her shoes with the metal device and putting them to the side for Kreacher to come get it once they were dressed for bed. She watched him, waiting for more out of his answer and sighed when he turned his back of her.

Orion undressed his outer layers, staying with his trousers and undershirt before turning to Walburga, struggling to untie her corset high on her back in silence. He sighed at her silent anger at his lack of commitment to the conversation and walked to stand behind her. He untied it and quickly loosened it enough for her to slip out of it.

She didn't thank him, just stepped away to take off her underwear and put on her nightgown. He had to hold back a bitter laugh at her petty actions and turned his back to her again and found his sleeping clothes.

"What is the shock of her relations with the man? He's an adult," he said, still with his back to her.

At first, he thought Walburga wasn't answering him on purpose, but when he looked over his shoulder, he saw that she was finishing tying the chest area of her nightgown. He smiled to himself. She always looked beautiful in her nightgown, always so casual and relaxed.

"It was on Malfoy Manor's gardens, during the wedding party. Miss Lupin and I caught her just as she was stumbling in, deep into her cups, dishevelled," Walburga said. "It was completely undignified."

That caught Orion's attention.

"In public?!" he asked. "How... bold."

"How stupid!" Walburga turned to him, in the tone of someone that was correcting.

Most people would lower their head and accept whatever Walburga said, either due to her voice being so firm, her eyes so deep and her force so great, but Orion knew that he had to hide his amusement every time – she would think how cute she looked in his mind when she did that to be completely patronising.

"Certainly," he said, undoing his belt and trousers. He took off his shirt.

Walburga sat on the bed, back on the pillows and over the covers, crossing her arms in front of her, like a spoiled child.

"In front of Miss Lupin, of all people!" she continued complaining. "She insisted on sobering her up so she could continue on the party, which meant that I had to go to the kitchen with her and the drunken that my sister-in-law has become. How humiliating it was to see the girl soothing Druella after she vomited! Just as I was getting the girl's respect, Druella goes and has to throw it all out the window."

"Miss Lupin respects us, Bria," he said.

He slipped on the nightshirt before taking off his trousers.

"Does she, really?" Walburga asked, clearly doubting his statement. "She had the audacity to learn Occlumency!"

"According to my father, it was Regulus that taught her it. Most likely they both have something that they don't want us to know about," Orion said, raising his eyebrows at his wife. "They're young, Bria. Young people think that the smallest of interactions outside of norms is something forbidden and meant to be hidden, especially our son – he was always one to follow the rules. Are you surprised that when he gets a girl that is clearly interested in him that he would hide aspects of his personal life with her and ask her to do the same? They are completely natural for wanting privacy in their own thoughts."

"Are you telling me that I'm a bad mother for wanting my son not to be careless with his honour?" she asked, frowning at him.

"I'm saying that young people will be young regardless of era or society rules. I was," he said with a shrugged. "You, most likely would've been as well, had your life not led you to me when you were so young... I did offer –"

"I wasn't going to cheat on you, Orion Regulus Black!" Walburga said, cutting him off. "Even with your permission."

He smiled at her.

"Well, I did offer to find someone else for you to have your fun," he continued his sentence, ignoring her outburst. He sat on the bed as well, facing her. She looked at the side to him. "Aren't you going to let your hair down?" he asked.

Her cheeks coloured a bit.

"I was going to ask for help," she admitted. "But... later. After we're done talking."

Orion raised his eyebrows. That was the closest thing to her inviting him to bed that he had – it was how he had calmed her down the first night that they had spent together; since then, whenever she had been interested in any marital activities, she would ask for help putting her hair down.

"Then, talk on, dear," he said, gently.

She smiled a bit, eyes shily glancing at him before looking down and focusing on the conversation.

"While drunk, Druella did a few jokes, which Miss Lupin seemed amused by," she said. He listened, nodding along. "And Druella brought something to my attention that I thought I might bring to yours."

"Something I should worry about?" he asked.

"Not as much as I probably think you would, given your protections to your son's privacy," Walburga said. "You need to talk to Regulus."

"Oh, Bria, please –"

"I'm being completely serious right now, Orion. You need to talk to him. The boy is inexperienced with girls, and their little... slip-away act in the New Year's affected my nerves greatly! Inexperienced people make silly mistakes. I told you to talk to him, but instead you sent Alphard," she said, frowning.

Orion frowned right back.

"What could that even mean?" he asked.

"Alphard is the least proper person to talk to a young man about his instincts towards a young lady," Walburga said.

Orion laughed loudly. Every time he did that, Walburga was reminded of Sirius a bit – their laughs were loud and came from deep inside the belly, even if Sirius was much more liberal with his laughter.

"Oh, please, tell me that just because he's not married, you don't believe he's a saint, Bria," Orion said. "He likes men, dear, that doesn't mean that he has never been with a woman before."

"Hardly a saint! He's a rake," she said, dismissing. "But that's the very reason!"

"I don't understand."

"He never controlled his urges," she said.

Orion turned to her with wide eyes.

"Oh, you mean that you want me to talk to our son about controlling his urges rather than how to act on them safely?" he asked.

Walburga blushed at that.

"Well, he won't listen, but it's nice to try," she said. "You can have both parts of the talk. About controlling and how to control it, and then how to... not to. We don't need bastards in this family, and we don't know what sickness that lot could have."

Orion smiled at her, amused by her lack of words.

"I'll use the same talk my father used on me," he promised. "Is that good enough?"

Walburga smiled at him, mollified by his attempts of appeasing her worries.

Orion had people before her, Walburga knew that, but he had never taken someone to bed for the simple feelings of pleasure or the killing of his loneliness. There was a girl that he liked in school which was a year older and had taught him everything he knew of pleasure, then there was a girl that he loved – one he never talked much, but that she knew was the very reason for their married – and then there was Walburga, the only girl he took to bed out of duty, the only one he didn't love. Until he did love her, too.

He knew how sex could be much more serious than people usually said. It was something much deeper than his schoolmates believed or joked about. And Walburga hoped that he could communicate it to his son, saving Miss Luna Lupin the trouble of having to deal with teenage hormones after her virtue... if she still had a virtue to talk about.

Orion raised his eyebrows at Walburga's slowly disappearing concern and smiled at her, reaching for her face and caressing the side of it gently.

"May I help you with your hair now or do you have more concerns that can only be fixed once Regulus is back home?" he asked.

She smiled at him.

"I'm ready," she said.

TA-DA! I hope you liked it.

The relationship is moving slightly, they're growing up and they're growing closer. And I hope you all liked the snippet of Walburga and Orion when nobody is looking; I think it might give us an idea of their dynamic behind closed doors and understand what they're doing in public as well.
