NO ONE'S POV:

(Sinestro tells Luthor, Flash, & Superman his version of his origin. On Oa, Hal Jordan tries to convince the Guardians that what Superman is doing on Earth. They dismiss him as they discuss a course of action. Hal's met by Kilowog & John Stewart. Kilowog's called by the Guardians as Hal & John notice more Green Lanterns above them who have been recalled here. Kilowog walks back down to Hal & John.)

Hal: What's happening?

Kilowog: I'm taking a squad of Lanterns to Earth. The Guardians want us to apprehend Superman and bring him back here for trial.

Hal: What? Superman is doing what's best for Earth. If you think for a second that I'm going to help you--

Kilowog: No. The Guardians know you're not going to help. I argued for you but they don't trust you on this one. Sorry, poozer. I'm going to have to ask you for your ring until this is over.

Hal: You think I'm going to just lie down and let you attack my planet?

Kilowog: Don't be stupid, Jordan.

(The other Green Lanterns surround Hal.)

(Hal flies away as the other Lanterns fly after him. He's about to leave Oa but the Guardians put a barrier around the planet that he bounces off of.)

(The other Green Lanterns subdue Hal, Kilowog knocks him out, & John Stewart takes his ring. Kilowog tells John to take Hal to the holding cells as he & some other Lanterns make their way to Earth to bring in Superman. John breaks Hal out & the duo is on their way to Earth. On Earth, Superman, Hawkgirl, & Shazam meet with Kilowog & the Lanterns he brought with him.)

Kilowog: Superman. The Guardians want to talk to you on Oa.

Superman: I am doing important work here, Kilowog. I won't leave.

Kilowog: I've been told to bring you in. I'd really like to do that without any trouble.

Hawkgirl: Where's Hal Jordan?

(Kilowog says nothing.)

Superman: What did you do to him? Cyborg?

(Cut to Cyborg in the Watchtower.)

Cyborg: I have them.

Superman: The ground is clear beneath us. Take the shot.

(Cyborg fires the Watchtower's laser on the Green Lanterns.)

(Kilowog & other Lanterns fly up & engage Superman, Shazam, & Hawkgirl.)

Superman: This is stupid, Kilowog.

(He flies behind Kilowog & puts him in a sleeper hold.)

Superman: You can't touch me with a thought-based weapon. I can move faster than thought.

Kilowog: Then I guess it's lucky that we already thought of that. See, we already touched you.

Superman: Hurk.

(He falls to the ground.)

Hawkgirl: Superman!!

Kilowog: Yeah. They always underestimate the squirrel.

Ch'p: It's always the same with you all-powerful types. You're used to big things coming at you. But you don't consider the little things. Sure. I'm small. But I can also think small. Right now, I'm thinking so small that I'm stopping synapses firing in your brain.

(At the Hall of Justice, Sinestro convinces Luthor to let him go so he can help Superman. While in Starling City, Dinah's met by Guy Gardner.)

(She tells Guy what's happened over the past year. Back in Utah, the Lanterns have captured Hawkgirl & Shazam.)

Kilowog: Ch'p. Can you keep Superman's brain out of action until we get to Oa?

Ch'p: Sure. I'll even try not to permanently damage him.

*SHLK*

(Blood drips down Ch'p's head.)

Kilowog: Ch'p?

(On their way to Earth, Hal & John fly by Ch'p's ring. They reach Utah to see Lanterns fighting Superman, Shazam, & Hawkgirl along with Sinestro. Hal's able to break up the fight between Kilowog & Superman just in time for them to see the rest of the Sinestro Corps appear behind Sinestro.)

Hal: What is going on?

Sinestro: Don't be concerned, Superman. They're not against you.

Superman: What is this, Sinestro?

Sinestro: This is how you win a war.

Gotham

(We see Y/N & Helena in The Ocelot, sitting across from each other.)

(Y/N): I'm surprised I was able to pull you away.

Helena: Well, we have some hours to kill, you're very convincing, and I'm not going to pass up a meal at The Ocelot.

(Y/N): Only the best for my girl.

Helena: I'll have to take you out next time.

(Y/N): I look forward to it.

Helena: How were you even able to get a reservation here?

(Y/N): [chuckles] I didn't. I just told them that I was a friend of Bruce Wayne. I mean, he does own this place. Being friends--

Helena: "Friends?"

(Y/N): Okay. Working with Bruce Wayne has got to have benefits, right?

Helena: [chuckles]

(Y/N's thoughts): Here goes.

(Y/N): We've been together for a while now.

Helena: Including back then and the two years now? Yeah.

(He pushes his chair back and stands up.)

(Y/N): Helena Rosa Bertinelli.

Helena: Flash, what are you--

(He kneels down & takes out an engagement ring.)

Helena: Oh, my God.

(Y/N): Now, I know the timing of this could be better but I just thought anything could happen with Superman off the deep end. And Nathaniel said...that's not important right now. We love each other. I know you'd probably prefer me asking you this in my wheelchair but--

Helena: [light smile] No, this is better.

(Y/N): Ha. Will you marry me?

Helena: Of course I'll marry you, Flash Thompson.

(He puts the ring on her finger, scoops her into his arm, & they kiss as the other Ocelot patrons clap & cheer.)

Later That Night In Gotham

(Harvey Bullock gets one of Superman's super soldiers to stop harassing a couple.)

(At Gotham General, Gordon & Montoya pick up Bullock to police their own damn city. Back in Utah, Kilowog & the rest of the Green Lanterns yield & would like to return to Oa but Sinestro says no.)

Hal: I don't know what you're doing here but you don't get to make that decision, Sinestro.

Sinestro: They can't be allowed to report back to Oa. You know this. If you let them go, they will only return with the rest.

Hal: Superman?

Superman: Sinestro's right.

(Cut back to Gotham where we see Gordon, Bullock, Montoya, Catwoman, Huntress, Agent Venom, Black Canary, & Batwoman in front of GCPD officers.)

Black Canary: Hey, Venom.

Agent Venom: Canary?

Black Canary: Congrats.

Agent Venom: On?

Batwoman: On you and Helena's engagement.

Agent Venom: Oh, obviously. Thank you.

(He looks at Helena.)

Agent Venom: I thought we were going to wait to tell them?

Huntress: It's like you said, "Anything could happen." So I decided to tell them.

Batwoman: I'm honestly surprised she said yes. I didn't think any guy could hold her down. You must mean a lot to her.

Agent Venom: Stop. You're gonna make me blush.

Huntress: I'm already regretting telling you.

Black Canary: [chuckles]

Catwoman: So, when's the wedding?

Huntress: Soon.

Delirium: Soon?

Agent Venom: Soon?

(They begin to address the GCPD officers.)

Gordon: We know this. We know violence alone doesn't get the job done.

Keys: We don't have a job anymore.

Gordon: We still have a job to do. It just got a lot harder and a lot bigger. We need to protect Gotham's citizens from their so-called protectors. And we need to keep our city safe.

Alvarez: And how do you propose we do that, Commissioner? You know what happened to Bullock. He had a badge in his hand when they did that to him!

Bullock: Yeah, I did have a badge in my hand. And now I'm standing here for a reason.

Gordon: You won't need your badges anymore.

(Kilowog & the Lanterns are taken as prisoners of war. Sinestro sends his corps away. Guy watches them fly away in space.)

Guy: Black Canary.

Black Canary: Guy? What is it?

Guy: Oracle's mystery person on the inside was right about the location of the battle. And it's not good. All your fears about Superman didn't prepare me for this level of insanity. I think Superman is working with the Sinestro Corps.

Black Canary: What?

Guy: This thing just got way bigger than the Guardians realize. I have to return to Oa. I don't know how long it'll be until I can come back with a way to bring Superman down.

Black Canary: Until, you get back, I'll try not to do anything too stupid.

Guy: No, you won't.

(Cut back to Gotham.)

Kasinsky: We won't need our badges anymore? You're asking us to quit the force? How are we supposed to pay our bills?

Catwoman: Money is not an issue.

Kasinsky: Maybe not to you, thief. But my kids are used to a certain lifestyle that includes extravagances like food.

Agent Venom: There's no need for name calling.

Montoya: Enough with the attitude.

Huntress: We have a private benefactor. You will all be very well taken care of financially.

Gordon: I understand your concerns and I didn't bring you here to waste your time.

Kasinsky: Why did you bring us here?

Gordon: Because you're good police. You care about this city and its people. And every single one of you has stood up to authority without fear when you thought it was the right thing to do. Some of you have even stood up to me. I'm offering you a chance to stand up for what's right again. I'm offering you a chance to be police.

Cromwell: How? How are we supposed to do the job with them in our city?

(Batwoman takes out a red pill.)

Batwoman: With this.

Gordon: Our city is at war. The Birds of Prey have started a resistance but they can't do it alone. They need soldiers. Like Agent Venom here. If you agree to join the resistance, this will be your new badge.

Diaz: What is it?

Gordon: This...

(He eats the pill. Bullock aims his pistol at Gordon's head & fires.)

*BANG*

(The bullet bounces off his head which shocks the officers.)
