The needle presses to my skin and I wince in pain, but a they say, pain is beauty.

The Doctor presses a bandage at the injection site and massages it gently.

"When will the effects take place?" I ask

"You should start to notice a difference in about 2-4 weeks"
The dark skinned, beautiful woman who was injecting me said. Doctor Stephens.

I smiled at her. I know it's cliche but I felt prettier already.

"You may experience the symptoms of a normal menatruation cycle in the next week but if you experience migrains or extreme sickness, please call us at this number." She says as she hands me a piece of paper.

"Thank you so much." I say as I walk out of the office, picking up my purse.

Two weeks

The serum is already working, my brown hair now reached down to my hips and I'm so skinny but I can still eat lots of food!

I also got a new boyfriend, Alex. He's handsome as hell and he's the nicest person I could ever hope for.

I step inside our apartment and kick off my ballet flats on the rug. I drop my purse on the ground and pull out my phone, scrolling through tumblr as I stretched out on the sofa.

Suddenly I feel lips on my forehead. I look up and see the upside down face of Alex.
I grin and pull him into a hug.
