When every morning of hers reminded her of the hardships that she is going to face, when it reminded her that it's yet another day of sorrow for her, there was a drastic change this morning. She had an inner peace when she opened her eyes and blinked. The phone was still in the same position, the call might be cut still she could see his happy face on it, bringing an instant smile on her face.

Sivaangi stretched her limbs and she felt fresh. She saw Mrini sleeping on the couch with the duvet covering her face. She was sleeping without a pillow and realisation hits her, "ayyayo idhu miii pillow aache. Paavam apdiye thoongitu irukka....."

She gets up from the bed and moves to the restroom to finish her morning chores.

She came back to see Mrini still sleeping. She goes to wake her up.

Sivaangi: Mrini get up !!!

Mrinalini: mchhh mudiyadhu po...

Sivaangi: Time aachu miiii

Mrinalini doesn't budge.

Sivaangi: Idhu velaiku aagadhu !

She switches on the music player and increases the volume to the highest point.

She dances for the song and pulls the duvet covering Mrini's face. She rolls the duvet into a bundle and starts hitting Mrini.

Mrini gets annoyed and woke up lazily, "ayyo adikadha di..."

Sivaangi laughs and hits her again.

Sivaangi: evlo neram ezhupuradhu ?

Mrini laughs saying this and Sivaangi chases her. Sivaangi takes a pillow and tries to hit Mrini. Mrini dodges and escapes. She wanted to take the next pillow but it was the same one which she had hugged the whole night and slept with his thoughts, "adhu avaru adhanala adha vechi adikka maaten."

Mrini who understood her thoughts, "ohhhhh kadhai apdi pogudha, nadakatum nadakatum....."

Sivaangi stood there admiring the pillow and Mrini took this as a chance and escapes to the restroom. Sivaangi came out from her thoughts when the song changed, "che thappichita !"

Mrini had finished her morning chores and came out to see a pouting Sivaangi sitting on the bed.

Mrini: moonjiya en apdi vechikittu irukka ??

Sivaangi: en kooda song ku dance um aadala, naa adikka vandha adiyum vaangikala escape aaita la nee ?? Po po

Mrini: ennadhu adi vaangikalaya ? Over ah illa...

She keeps a grumpy face and turns away from her. Mrini comes to her and extends her hand, "adikanum dhaana adichiko...."

Sivaangi slowly turns and looks at Mrini with a mischievous smile.....

Mrini: aaha adi balama vizhumo ??

Sivaangi hits her palm with the pillow and Mrini sighs, "happada periya adi ellam illa !!!"

Sivaangi gets up and looks at Mrini's bandaged arm. She touches it with a worried face.

Mrini: Seriya poidum baby. Onnum illa vidu....

Sivaangi nods and places a soft kiss on her bandaged arm, "aama seekirama seri aaidum."

Mrini taps her cheek fondly, "edhachum panni kavukanum la enna...."

Sivaangi giggles but pouts again.

Mrini glares and Sivaangi smiles sheepishly. She goes to switch on the music player. The same song plays and they dance, laughing their hearts out.

Sivaangi giggles and continues to dance. The song ends and she squeals, "happada morning quota done eyyy"

Mrini makes faces and goes to the washroom. Sivaangi laughs and takes her phone.

The reason for her asking this was she expected Ashwin to call her. Somehow she had an instinct that he might call her. She didn't want to miss it so she sat on the bed, placed THAT pillow on her lap, cups her right cheek with her palm and looks at the phone screen, waiting for his call.

Ashwin woke up to his alarm and rubs his eyes. He gets up lazily and moves to the washroom to freshen up. He comes back and finishes his workout for the day.

He checks the notes to be taught for the day and places the laptop in his bag. He takes his phone and a smile appears on his face when he opens the gallery to see the screenshot of sleeping Sivaangi. He admires the pic for a while and decides to call her...

Ashwin: Thoongitu irupalo !?

He was on a dilemma to call her or not. Finally he decides to call her and opens the phone log. He taps on her contact name and pressed the call button. The call gets answered and none spoke.

Sivaangi waited for him to start and he waited for her to start. This continued for a minute and then both chorused....

Sivaangi: Good morning Ashwineyyy !!!

Ashwin: Good morning Sivaangi ma !!!

Sivaangi giggles and taps her pillow in excitement, "wavelength uh Ashwineyyy !"

Ashwin: Hahaha aama aama....

His endearing tone made her heart to leap in joy and she hugs the pillow tightly.

She decides to end the call when Ashwin calls, "oiii"

Sivaangi had a different feeling hearing that and she blushed unknowingly....

Sivaangi was stumped hearing him. First of all, he understood her being sad for ending the call and then he understood that she wants to talk to him, so he reminds her about the promise and she felt happy.

Sivaangi: Yaay ! Seri Ashwineyyy.....

Ashwin smiles and he felt immense happiness hearing her chirpy tone.

Sivaangi: Ashwineyyy naama oru game velayadalama ??

Ashwin: enna game ma ?

Sivaangi: Yesterday the colour of our outfits matched coincidentally. Inaikum aagudha illaya nu paapoma ?

Ashwin: Hmm paakalame !

Sivaangi: namakku already neraya sync aagudhu, idhuvum aagudha nu paapom ...

Ashwin: Paapa.....

He calls her affectionately and she melts.

Sivaangi: Sollunga paa...

The pillow received a bone crushing hug as happy tears rolled down her cheeks. He understood her as if he was dwelling inside her .... Maybe his soul was dwelling in her heart !

She felt blessed to have him and felt lucky that she met him.

Boom ! A pleasant silence fills as he blurts this. The Ashwin who thinks hundred times before uttering a word spoke with zero filters when it was her. And she felt her heart being attacked by happiness whenever he speaks.

She squeals and Ashwin giggles.

Ashwin: Paapa solla marandhuten. Ask Mrini not to cook, inaiki naa saapadu eduthutu varen....

Sivaangi: Edhuku pa ungalukku siramam ? We'll manage. Evlo dhaan vela paapinga ??

Ashwin: Ms. Foodie naa unga kitta permission kekala. Information kudukuren and no cross questions....

Sivaangi: Paah paah bayama irukku pa. As you say my lord. Naa Mrini kitta sonnadha neenga enkitta sollunga !

Ashwin: Hmm andha bayam irukatum. Aama en Mrini kitta sonna ?

Sivaangi narrates all the incidents that happened minutes back and Ashwin laughs, clutching his stomach.

Ashwin: Maa paavam eli....

Sivaangi: ayyo Ashwineyyy ennala mudiyala....

She starts laughing and didn't notice Mrini who stood their with her arms crossed against her chest.

Sivaangi chuckles nervously and slowly whispers, "eli kitta maatikiten Ashwineyyy...."

Ashwin bursts out laughing and Mrini could hear it. She signs Sivaangi to put the call on speaker.

Ashwin: Maa feel pannadha eli dhaana pori vechi pudichiralam.

That's it ! Sivaangi rolls on the bed and laughs while Ashwin was laughing their uncontrollably. Mrini herself felt like laughing and she also felt happy to see Sivaangi laughing like that.

Mrini: Pudipinga sir pudipinga en pudikka maatinga !?

Ashwin gasps hearing Mrini's voice and Sivaangi continues laughing.

Ashwin speaks in a hushed tone, "paapa Mrini ku epdi ketuchu ?"

Sivaangi tries to answer but Mrini interrupts, "evlo husky ya pesunalum no use sir. Yenna phone speaker la irukku !"

Ashwin's eyes go wide hearing her and he exclaims, "ipdi korthu vittutiye Sivaangi ma !?"

Sivaangi: Sorry paaa....

He could imagine her with doe eyes and puppy face and he instantly melted. It was a melting day for him.

Ashwin clears his throat, "Mrini thappa eduthukadha ma. Naa vilayatuku sonnen..."

Mrini: Ada enna sir neenga adhellam onnum illa....

Sivaangi: ungala loosu nu soldradhula thappe illa pa. Avale sirippa control pannitu iruka neenga vera !

Sivaangi giggles and Mrini purses her lips tight to stop laughing, but fails in it and joins her.

Ashwin felt happy hearing them laughing.

Ashwin: seri seri stop pannunga, your stomach might ache if you laugh more. Mrini inaiki cook pannadha ma I'll get you lunch. Breakfast ku mattum edhachum light ah saaptutu vaanga.

Mrini: En sir ?

Ashwin: Annaaa...

Mrini clicks her tongue and asks, "en anna ?"

Ashwin: No cross questions thangachi. Sonnadha sei eli....

Mrini: aalaluku oru chinna pullaiya adhaturinga !! Paathukuren....

Ashwin and Sivaangi chorused, "ennatha paathukuva !"

Mrini silently heard their convo and felt them being really comfortable. Her worries got vanished and she smiled with content.

The trio laugh and Sivaangi tells Mrinalini about the game.

Mrini: sutham ! Nalla pandringa pa rendu perum.

Sivaangi: miiii....

Mrini: stop ! Enna ippo enakkaga panna maatiya miii adhaane ?

Mrini: mudiyala...

Ashwin: okay girls ready aagunga even I'll go. Class ku late ah vandha velila dhaan nikkanum....

Mrini goes to the kitchen and Sivaangi switches off the speaker.

Sivaangi: college la naa ungalukku verum student Sivaangi dhaan. At any cost inga nadandhukura maari nadandhuka maaten paa. Idhana solla vandhinga ?

Ashwin: romba sharp dhaan.

Sivaangi: pinna en lecturer yaaru ?

Ashwin: naa dhaan...

They giggle and Ashwin looks at the clock.

Ashwin: Paapa time aachu, ready aagu po....

Sivaangi: Seri Ashwineyyy. Promise ah marakadhinga....

Ashwin: maraka maaten Sivaangi. Nee ready aagu and college kitta oru bus stop irukku la adhuku pinnadi oru shed irukum paaru anga vandhudunga seriya ?

Sivaangi: enakku exact ah therila pa. Mrini kitta soldren ava kootitu varuva.

Ashwin: seri ma. See you in college paapa.

Sivaangi: see you soon Ashwineyyy. Tata ....

Ashwin cuts the call and smiles looking at the phone screen. He had saved it as Sivaangi, he clicked on the edit contact option and changed her name to Paapa with a pink heart and a magic wand symbol. He felt happy seeing it and goes to the kitchen.

Sivaangi hadn't saved his contact number still so she saves it as Ashwineyyy with a pink heart and magic wand symbol. She changed the caller id picture to their first selfie and hugged the phone close to her heart, "I am lucky to get a person like you Ashwin !" She puts her phone for charging and goes to get ready.

Here Ashwin goes to the kitchen to find Rakshan and Raji ma arguing about a soap drama character and he sighed with a chuckle.

Raji: deiii kanna va va, en late uh ? Paaru coffee ready ah irukku....

Ashwin hugs her from back, kissed her cheeks and takes the coffee from her. She asks him to bend and kissed his forehead.

Rakshan: paah paah over love ohh ???

Raji: enda ippo dhaana unakku kuduthen !

Ashwin: ellame scene ma. Poramai pudichavan....

Rakshan: aama aama pudikiranga poramai ya ! Adhu enna kozhi ya da pudikka ??

Ashwin: ohh nee apdi variya ?? Ippo paaru, aama poramai nu sonniye endha por ku da aamai pogudhu ?

Raji slaps her forehead and pinches both their ears and they yelp.

Rakshan: aaha valikudhu maa....

Ashwin: Raji ma vidunga pleech valikudhu....

She leaves them and they rub their ears.

Raji: paavam da ungala kattika pora ponnunga !

Ashwin: aama ma en thangachi Saranya romba paavam. Ivana kattikitu enna paadu pada poralo !

Rakshan: deii en Saru lucky da. Unna kattika pora ponnu dhaan paavam !

Raji laughs and shares a hi-fi with Rakshan while Ashwin pouts at them.

Ashwin: miiii neengalum ah ? Ponga ...

Raji: chumma da. Andha ponnu romba romba lucky ....

Ashwin hugs her and sticks his tongue out to Rakshan. Rakshan sighs and slaps his forehead.

Ashwin leaves her and asks them to move out of the kitchen.

Raji: en da ?

Ashwin: samaikanum la ma ?

Raji: odha vaanguva. Inaiki I'll cook. Neenga ready aagunga...

Ashwin: adhu illa ma...

Raji: Kanna amma sonna keka maatiya nee ?

Ashwin: seri ma seri ma kekuren. Maa naalu peruku samachidunga. Neenga veikira multi vegetable sambhar, potato fry, onion rings and rasam pannidunga. Unga style la veetu saapadu maari senjidunga ma...

Ashwin: love you maa. You are the best !!

He hugs her tightly and kisses her cheeks again. He slaps Rakshan's arms and he screams, "amma va disturb pannadha da. Poi kelambu first day vera..."

Rakshan: deiii nee po da...

Ashwin: nee po da...

Raji: ada chi niruthunga. Rendu perum ponga da ...

The boys laugh and rush to their rooms. Raji prepared as Ashwin said and also prepared payasam along with it.

Rakshan comes out first and the aroma of food pulls him to the kitchen.

Rakshan: miii semma ponga. Inaiku oru pudi pudika vendiyadhu dhaan...

Raji: haha. Cheri yaaru da andha rendu peru ?? Onnu nee, innonu kanna appo meedhi rendu peru ?

Rakshan: Sivaangi and Mrinalini maa..

Raji: yaaru da avanga ?

Rakshan narrates everything that happened yesterday till their phone conversation and Raji's eyes widen in surprise. Her eyes also teared lightly.

Raji: Ivana da ipdi ellam pannadhu ?

Rakshan: aama ma. Inaikum veetuku kootitu varaan.

Raji: haiii appo naanum varen paaka...

Rakshan: haha seri ma.

Ashwin reached the kitchen wearing a dark green, checked shirt paired with cream colour pants. He wore a brown watch and his forehead had a thin strike of holy ash and he looked dapper.

Ashwin: deiii en da amma va tholla pandra nee ??

Rakshan: naa enga da pannen ?

Raji: en da eppo paaru sandai potute irukinga ?

Rakshan: idhellam sandai ya miii neenga vera...

Rakshan wraps his arm around Ashwin's shoulder and Ashwin wraps his arms around his neck.

Ashwin: idhellam chumma ma..

Raji: nalla pullainga da rendu perum !

Both smile at her sheepishly and she laughs. Ashwin goes to check the packed food and gets surprised to see payasam too.

Ashwin: maa you are the best !!

He hugs Raji and she laughs, "ethana dhadava da solluva ?"

Ashwin: ethana dhadava venum naalum solluven......

Rakshan: paaru epdi ellam impress pandran nu !!

Ashwin smirks and kissed her cheek again, "appadi dhaan da pannuven"

Rakshan comes and kissed her other cheek, "naanum kudupen da..."

Raji shakes her head in disbelief at the boys and urges them to go to the college. Ashwin takes two lunch bags and Rakshan takes two, they carry their laptop bags and move to Ashwin's bike, not before kissing Raji's cheeks one more time.

Ashwin drives the bike and Rakshan sat behind him.

Here Mrini packed both their bags and made Sivaangi to have her breakfast and she too ate. Sivaangi goes to their bedroom to choose their outfits and Mrini sighs, slaps her head and laughs.

Sivaangi chose a dark green solid cotton, three fourth sleeved salwar suit and paired it with matching jhumkas. She added a nude lipstick to her lips and kajal to her eyes. Mrini got ready in a dark green embroidered kurti and matched it with orange leggings. Both get ready and look at the mirror.

Mrini: Happy ??

Sivaangi: So happy !!

They giggle and leave the house in Mrini's scooty.

The girls reached the spot which Ashwin told and waited for them. The boys reach five minutes later and Rakshan gets down while Ashwin parks the bike. They move their and Ashwin gasped at the sight. He saw Sivaangi wearing the same colour dress and she turned to look at him and gets shocked. Her lips part in surprise seeing him.

Rakshan nudges Ashwin and he jerks while Mrini pushed Sivaangi's chin up, closing her mouth.

Ashwin: Hmm Mrini indha ungalukku lunch.

Mrini: Thanks na...

Ashwin: anna ku thanks solla maatanga eli !

Mrini: seri na ini sollala...

Rakshan understood the other girl to be Sivaangi and he greets the girls, "Hello girls, this is Rakshan !"

Sivaangi: Hello sir

Mrini: Hi sir

Rakshan: Ada idhu college illa la name solliye kupdunga !

Sivaangi: okay Rakshan anna

Mrini: Seri Rakshan anna...

Rakshan: paarunga idha keka evlo nalla irukku ! Deii Ashwin namakku rendu thangachinga da !!

Rakshan told it purposefully and two pair of eyes widen at his comment. Mrini suppressed her laughter.

Sivaangi: edheyyy !

Ashwin: whattttttt ?

Rakshan too tried his best to stop laughing, looking at their horrified faces.

Rakshan: en da ennachu ?

Mrini's mind voice: nethiku ivaru sonnaru ana inaiki Rakshan anna sonna odane what aam ! Periya improvement dhaan..."

Ashwin: un vaaiya odacha seriya poidum da. Unakku dhaan rendu thangachi, enakku onnu dhaan dho anga nikkurale eli ava dhaan...

Mrini whines, " anna naa onnum eli illa ..."

Ashwin: okay Mouse.

Mrini whines again and all chuckle.

Rakshan: Seri appo Sivaangi unakku yaaru ?

Sivaangi turns to him with curiousity and Ashwin answered, "adhu en paapa da. Ennoda best friend !"

Sivaangi jumps happily and Ashwin admires her.

Rakshan who knew the answer, pretended as if he didn't know anything and asked casually, "paapa va ?"

Mrini too does the same and asked, "paapa va ?"

Sivaangi: aama apdi dhaan avaru enna kupduvaru....

Rakshan mentally exclaimed, "ohhh avaru ah !!"

Ashwin: aama naa apdi dhaan kupduven....

Rakshan: seri da seri da...

Sivaangi was expecting Ashwin to take about their game but he doesn't. She wanted to ask but before that Ashwin asked them to go to the college as it's time. Mrini pulls her along and they walk to the college. Ashwin starts the bike and both men reach the college.

Sivaangi was pouting all the way and glared at Mrinalini. Mrini who understood it didn't turn to her as she was not ready to face her wrath so she kept calm.

Sivaangi's phone vibrates with a message notification. It was a WhatsApp message from Ashwin.

Message: "Heyy paapa ! We won the game. Outfit colour match aaiduchu. You look gorgeous in that suit. Romba azhaga irukka maa..." He added a smiley emoji along with a green heart.

Sivaangi's heart fluttered reading the message and she giggled in a low voice. She responds, "Yess Ashwineyyy ! We won it. You look dapper in that shirt pa. Semma smart ah irukinga ..." She adds a heart eyed emoji with a green heart and sends it to him.

Mrini who noticed everything, kept quiet and didn't ask anything.

Ashwin receives the message and blushed at her compliment. He rubs his nape, takes his notes and laptop and moves to the class.

Ashwin engages the class seriously and taught the students with utmost clarity. He cracked jokes in between too so that the students will feel energetic. Sivaangi fixed her eyes at her lecturer and concentrated on his teaching nah nah on HIM sincerely.

She felt peace looking at his face everytime and wished to look at his face forever. Ashwin locked his eyes occasionally with hers and his breath hitched for her intense eyes.

The class ends and Rakshan enters for the next class. He asked the students to introduce themselves and starts the basics of Cloud Computing. The students were really happy with him as well. The young lecturers easily held a place in student's hearts.

It was lunch time. Ashwin and Rakshan sat on a table, Sivaangi and Mrinalini sat on the table adjacent to them.

Ashwin messaged Sivaangi, "Paapa lunch ah full ah finish pannanum. You shouldn't leave anything, Mrini kittayum sollidu. Payasam um saaptranum. Check pannuven box ah, saapudala na pesa maaten !"

Sivaangi giggles and looks at him. Ashwin signs her to eat and she starts having the food. He asked through eyes, "how's it ?" Sivaangi signs a super symbol and he smiles at her. Rakshan and Mrini watch everything silently.

The boys finished their food still Ashwin didn't get up. He saw Sivaangi and Mrinalini closing the empty box. He sighed happily and got up.

They didn't have any other classes in the afternoon so they stayed in the staffroom discussing about the college. The election topic was a hot news there and the boys blinked as they didn't know why were all talking about that.
