Hi I won't be writing the training part because I have never written a chapter that fighting has to be taught I may right a little bit but I will not go into the full details

I scrambled to the tree and I catch my breath I look around my surroundings. I run in full speed and I quickly duck just in time to see Alaric he adjusts himself and gives me a smile. Alaric isn't a friend he is the "enemy" I watch his movements and before he use his speed to come towards me I dove and I stood up and I tackled him.

I punch him hard and he lets out a groan I was happy that I was going to beat him this time but he grabs a hold on me and he pins me down on the grass. I look at him and I thrash."thrashing around won't help you find a weak spot to attack your enemy Rose." He said while breathing heavily.

I look at him and i let out a groan I look around him to see if I would find his weak spot,but I didn't find anything."okay fine so can you let me go." I said as I noticed we were too close to each other. He looks at me and he moves away I stood up and I stretch.

"You have learn a lot Rose and you have improved on your fighting skill that it for today." He said while walking away. I scream in joy and I run to the house once I was out the woods I walk. I go straight to my room and I took my clothes off and I start my bath. I go inside the bath and I lay down.

He has been training me a lot and I use to be so mad when I wasn't able to get anything right. He is strict when it comes to fighting, sometimes I be lying to him just for we can be together a little more. "ROSE!" I got out the bath and I grab my robe I open my bathroom door to see Samantha.

"You are going to cancel out all your plans for tomorrow because we are going to a family party." She said I look at her and I shook my head "I'm going to be the only human there they could hurt me." I said while looking for my pink shirt.

" you really think I would invite you to a party if I didn't know it was safe? It will be fun and I also have the perfect dress you can wear." She said and after talking for a little bit she leaves I put my pants on and my shirt. I walk downstairs and I made way to the kitchen I grab a bottle of water and I drank it.

I made way towards the living room and I see Alaric sitting down with his parents and across from them was a young woman her eyes were beautiful she had long grey hair. Her skin was pale our eyes met and I put my head down."rose?" I look up at Alaric and I gave him a shy smile.

"Sorry I wasn't trying to ruin the conversation I-I will just go." I said turning away "no dear Come your family now." I look at her and I walk towards the couch I slowly took a seat."hello im Alaric wife." I look back at him and at her. She continue to speak "you aren't one of us you're human why are you still around?" I look at her and I narrow my eyes.

"I know and I don't have to tell you anything about the reason why I'm here." I said she smiles and shrugs "Baby let's go to the room." She stood up and walks away and Alaric follows her."that girl won't give up she isn't Alaric wife rose she is just obsessed with him." "That a good thing." I look at his parents and I cover my mouth.

I quickly run out of the living room and outside the house I go to the kids swing and I sat down I look up at the sky. "Why did I felt so heartbroken when I saw him leave with that girl why do I feel these little shocks when we touch." I said out loud "He is your mate." I turn my head around and I look at Samantha.

"Excuse me?" She looks at me in a shock way"did I say that out loud?" I slowly nod "oops." She said while she looked around."pretend you did not hear it rose Alaric will get mad at me." She said in a pleading tone. "Why would he get mad at you Samantha?you think I'm his mate?" I said while laughing.

She takes my hand "I don't think it I know you are because he told me he has found his mate and it you that why you felt jealous and hurt and also the shocks that you feel is a part of the mate bond it brings your connection together and it makes it strong." I gently took her hand out of mine.

"Lies .....why ...what? But if I'm his mate why is he avoiding me? Does he not want me."  She looks down at the ground. I run past her and I continue on running towards the house I slam the door and I walk upstairs with tears in my eyes. "Rose why are you crying." I look up to see Blake and Alaric.

I clench my hand and I shook my head I past by the both of them and I lock myself in the room. And I let the tears drop because of the way my life is since the day I was born I was destined to have a supernatural mate. But that person who is supposed to love me hates me.

I look outside the window "should I leave?" I stood up and I look outside. I shook my head I cannot leave I need weapons and also how will I be able to track him down. The only person who possibly knows is Alaric. But would I want to take a risk and talk to him? "Rose can you open up." Said Samantha.

I got out of bed and I open the door she closed it and gives me a hug."I'm sorry Rose is there anything I can do." I look at her " do you know where I can find weapons?" I said with hope she looks at me and she was going to deny it but she looks at me and nods.

"Since my mate is a guard he has access to the weapons how much you need?" I look at her "how much weapons will I need to kill a whole pack of rogues?" She looks at me."a lot.. when do you want it?" I look at her "tell him to drop it off on Saturday night." She nods.

And she leaves I go to my bed and I stare at the ceiling. I would have love to leave tomorrow but I already agreed to go to the family party.
